I hope more people will catch up with mentality like yours, because only this could help everyone work together to get out of this situation.
I'm partly thankful to this disease because crypto adoption went just crazy, but I am too sorry about people left us because of corona..

I don't think that crypto got more popular with this pandemic. I'd agree if digital cash transactions became more popular at least here in our country and I don't know what is the case in other countries. This is what happening on all heavily infected counties and I am not sure how they are going to manage to get back to normal production level. These things are signalling us about high possibilities of upcoming economic slow down. I am not seeing any positive impact but there could be heavy negative impacts that we are going to face in coming months.

I'm not sure if it is a "net win" (especially if we account for opportunity costs)

To me, it looks more like a desperate attempt to rationalize the situation, even if what you describe is technically true, i.e. old industries dying off and new industries with new jobs springing up. It is a natural and inevitable process anyway, but it is how the change settles in that matters and makes the difference. When it happens abruptly and unexpectedly, it may be too costly and inefficient. In other words, you could get there and see better results with less exertion and stress

For individuals, they have learnt the balance between work life and that of personal life, previously hey used to work a lot and were not able to give time to their families for which they were desperately working hard in order to provide for them.
For companies and businesses, they have also made many reforms like work from home, now people should get sick leave and paid leaves easily and they can work from home if their bosses are cool enough to agree on it. Previously you always had to be present in the office either you were feeling sick or not, now companies will try to improve the work standards as well and maintain social distancing as a rotten apple spoils the bunch.

I am glad that finally there is a topic that discusses the positive impact of the corona virus, of course I strongly agree with the 6 positive
points of impact mentioned in the opening post. Especially quarantine and lockdown make recovery environment, this is indeed very

I haven't experienced this during quarantine.
It seems that people used more contactless payments through credit and debit cards but there was not any increase in the crypto transactions. This statements wasn't depicted in the volumes that exchanges had all those day.

Most probably. But maybe, he had a different experience or read something about it that's why he came up with such.

Anyway, here in our country, most of the transactions were made online but didn't involve crypto. People still used our currency but with the use of e-wallets. From buying essential goods to giving donations, e-wallets were utilized. It was really convenient. Though, I still wish that there would be more merchants that would accept crypto as a mode of payment.
