Best part of this virus is the low level of pollution, virus will disappear after a while but the effects of the pollution wont from a certain point. Also a second positive point it the quality time spend home with the family.

I like the second point you made here. Import and export has not been efficient, and a lot of people will be forced to focus on locally made products, and homeowner businesses that were being neglected will start gaining interest and making much sales.

Another good thing is that in countries where the leaders has neglected their health care system, they will start building it quickly to be able to take care of those infected, because if they don’t do that, then they are definitely going to lose a lot of people. In places where the air used to be polluted, the air is now free from pollutants, and not just air, including water. For sure, everything that has happened has its sides.

It's really heartbreaking that there are minors being abused in this kind of situation. Every family is different and their quarantine situation could also affect them differently. Home owned businesses couldn't help the economy survive. Most countries are now in a bloody economic situation because huge businesses aren't functioning anymore. This quarantine has a positive effect on the environment but has a negative effect on our way of living. There are still pros and cons but we have no choice but to deal with it and just wait until things get back to normal.

Most of the points you mention are true, but these two will really impact on how the government will deal with this type of situation again in the future. But as an individuals we should take this situation seriously and we should not always rely on the government, the government can’t protect us at all times because our survival depends on what we do today.

For me, the best positive impact that ever happened because of this covid19 pandemic is the restoration of our environment. For the past years, pollution is obviously destroying mother nature and inspite of many environmental laws being implemented, it can be seen that pollution is really out of control and now, this pandemic seems to be a way for Mother nature to heal on its own. We can't do it on our own that's why this happened.

On the other hand, it is pretty hard to learn lessons from classes being done online, I'm saying this based on my experience. I'm an engineering student and it's pretty hard for me to ask questions about solving problems and processes online, although our teachers give their time and best efforts just to answer those questions, it is still very hard for us students. I still prefer face to face classes tho.

It seems that there have been too many reports about the adverse effects of the corona pandemic and even many fake facts about Corona that cause excessive fear. The bad effects of a pandemic do not need to be debated. We do need counter-narratives to combat corona propaganda.

Complaints and criticisms, of course, we have voiced to the government in dealing with corona but blaming the situation will also provide positive energy for us. So the last resort is to think out of the box even if there is a box number "how can we survive and even grow in conditions like this". If others focus on tightening our spending, we focus on developments amid the lack of competition.

The positive side of Corona is creating a wave of "you are on your own" for each country. The disruption of the global supply chain due to pandemic turns (not simultaneously) engulfing countries in the world provides momentum to be independent and explore their respective domestic resources. In this crisis condition, the hardest hit is those who have foreign debt, which is dependent on the dollar, which is dependent on imports for consumption. The Corona pandemic indirectly forces us to break the chains of dependency.

When the corona pandemic ended, unemployment increased. The government must create a targeted and measurable program to absorb unemployment by creating labor-intensive independent projects.

Recently, we see that the climate on Earth began to change for the worse. If there were no social upheavals, mankind would go to its own death and many would say that nothing can be done. Now, thanks to the measures taken to protect against coronavirus, we saw that the environment is easy to restore, it would be our desire and common efforts.
I think that in the future we will gradually abandon the use of oil and gasoline, move on to the use of alternative sources of energy production and be able to restore the climate on our planet. This is one of the most important moments of the appearance of coronavirus.

Positive impact? I think you have mentioned enough but probably the mother earth is given a chance to heal itself from all the pollution caused by humans before.

From the current situation, this will help the government to take more action about research and development, and to even improve their health care system in the future.

I would also like to add that, with the situation, you can still see some humanity in others and seeing that even only the internet, it can change our perspective on how life can be hard for others. I don't know if the growth of the internet and cryptocurrency users can really be considered as something positive since it can also lead to negative effects. More people using the internet means that there is also a possibility that scammers would also grow. They lack when it comes to knowledge, older people tend to easily believe in what they saw on the internet even if it's fake news. Online jobs and schools aren't that easy especially in a place with a slow internet connection, some people also don't have the capability of having internet access.

I don't know about online education though, I maybe a old and traditional and there are still subjects that students need interaction like lab projects and stuff. Although this is the only options for our kinds right now, online education might not be everyone specially for countries that don't even have infrastructure to support it.


Based on what I have seen in my country, the only business that flourish is food delivery services.

This is good though, around 6-7 years ago, I bought few hectares of land in the countryside to make me and my family sustained like having some crops and vegetables but with the lock down though, I can't visit and just totally rely on some of my caretakers to rely what's going on with some of my plantations.

I disagree with this. I think small or local businesses get impacted the most (other than tourism-related). Big companies can just impose unpaid leave for most of its employees to save cash. While small businesses usually have tighter cash position.

This is more like wishful thinking than a reality. Countries that already have a terrible financial position will get worse after this pandemic. They need to recover first before thinking about improving such conditions.

Distance learning works well for some people, not so well for others. Obviously not all businesses can operate on a completely remote basis either.


A few are doing well I'm sure. The vast majority of businesses are suffering badly, judging by how quickly the PPP loan program is running out of money.

This will not happen. It's not the first epedimic that ever happened. With previous viruses, nothing changes in infected countries and governance didn't change even they were incompetent. Same things is happening now, at a large scale, and it will finishes then back to normal.
Government will say sorry for losses, make a celebrate day on how it sees itself succeeded,then just forget about the whole story. It's sad, but it will happens.

You might be getting carried away here.  It isn't like the entire world needs to be revamped because of the COVID-19 outbreak.  It did expose some weaknesses in a lot of things, but a serious contagion with serious consequences is not unheard of.  Maybe in the average person's life, but not in the history of the world.

I'm getting a little tired of trying to search for COVID-19 news on Youtube and having most of the search results dealing with the stupid shit Trump is saying.  And other politicians. 

This thing is going to get better on its own; it just takes time.  Those people who were out of work when businesses got shut down will probably be returning to their jobs, so I don't think unemployment is going to be a lasting effect.  The economy certainly did take a massive hit, but I have faith that it'll rebound.  And hey, bitcoin isn't doing too badly either.  Things could be a hell of a lot worse.

One major impact is that we are going to begin to see the growth of internet usage for many outfit. Many people are going to suggest to their company about working from home and also more investment in digital currency too.

The economic crisis is severe . Undeniably we have reached a rock bottom , where one needs to change everything , how the world works , how we understand economics , how the volatility would be controlled with respect to the Fiat .
I have had taken part in the discussion of a lot of negative but true situation , I would like to ask you guys to mention some positive points on the economic situation and other sectors despite the Corona virus .
Let me mention some positive things that I think could lift some burden up .

1. Due to Quarantine people are spending more time with families plus all the businesses and schools are working online , after the quarantine one can easily hope for an increase in online job opportunities , which is a big deal for some students and other sectors .

2. Home owned businesses + Local business are flourishing, due to Quarantine import and export is definitely not working as efficiently , therefore each country is working towards making their own markets more valuable. Which inturn for the long run means a lot since most of the people are involved in home owned businesses which was ignored previously.

3. People are moving towards Sustainability , countries in the future will be able to take care of the needs of their people , focusing the priority on their areas which inturn boosts the living conditions of the local community.

4. With the Quarantine and complete lockdown , environment is recovering, some of the most severe ozone holes are closed , pollution is getting controlled , feels like it is something that nature did to make sure the earth recovers from the wildfires all around . This means one would be able to efficiently renew the economic situation as a whole.

5. Total renewal of the government and the economic situation is in order , since this system has proved to be inefficient in handling situations like these.

6. Cryptocurrencies are getting more popular since using them have enabled people to sell their services across the globe . without additional documentation and problems.
