The forum is actually a very tough place ,but the only way to survive it's toughness is when you are consistent  in your contributions ,patient and also try as much as possible to  eliminate phobia .

You will like being in forums when you are interested in discussing topics that match your interests. If you don't have an interest in discussing topics in the forum, honestly the first thing you need to do is increase your reading intention. There's no need to force yourself too much into discussions, when you read more you will find out whether your interest in the topics in the forum has increased or not. if there is an increase in interest, that will be good for you. There's no need to be too hasty, just follow the topics that you like and are good at. most beginners are in too much of a rush to rank up. although in the process, it also increases the motivation of the beginners.

Bitcoin or nothing
What so ever thing you are doing in life and you really want to succeed you must be consistence in what you are doing, patience is also a key factor to success and also been not discouraged in what you are doing will lead you to your goal.
Most people that failed in life was as a result of inconsistency inpatient and self discouragement, they give up easyly because what they started is not yelding a better results at the main time and they failed to be patient and later gave up. This is my advice to my fellow newbie if you must be successful here in this forum to know more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency even outside here in your daily activities you must be consistence, patience and self encouragement they are key factors to succeed in life.

Recently i have observed that some new from users are unable to develop consistency in their contributions maybe because they feel that their opinions are not relevant ,lacks quality and many more .
Most of the newbies are on the forum for a reason, and if they notice they are not achieving it, then they will give up. Most of them are just joining the forum because they want to rank up, they do think getting merit is kind of easy, but when they start posting and they are not receiving merit, then they will get discouraged and they will give up. So you shouldn’t blame anyone for newbies not being consistent on the forum here.

The forum is actually a very tough place ,but the only way to survive its toughness is when you are consistent  in your contributions ,patient and also try as much as possible to  eliminate phobia .
Why do you say the forum is a tough place? I don’t see anything tough in the forum here, there are rules and regulations guiding the forum, and if you can follow them, then you won’t have any problem. The only people who think the forum is a tough place are those who are desperate and looking for merit, but if you are here to learn, then you will see that the forum is an easy place.

furthermore, don't feel that your opinions are not noticed ,they are actually noticed and recognized but just know that nothing good comes easy and don't be discouraged maybe because you have not been merited .
If you are a newbie, don’t think your opinion is useless because of your rank. High ranks do learn from low ranks, just that you might not notice, so don’t be discouraged from making your opinion because you think you are low rank. Everyone started as a newbie, and with time, we all grow.

Honestly, consistency is one of the factors that determines how the memes continue here. Even though there are actually other factors, such as things that can make us stay on this forum. And this is also inseparable from how this forum provides various important and super things to us members.

Maybe for some people it is because this forum provides a great opportunity for its members to earn money from several things or activities here. And that's not wrong at all. What is important is that his contribution to the forum continues to be present and commensurate. It's true that this won't be easy because sometimes I personally feel quite bored and can't do or make good posts, but at least we keep trying.

Op you said it rightly correct. Consistency, patient and perseverance are the factors to stay long in the forum. Though if you are doing well and contributing to knowledge, there will be no attacks or issues but whereby you lie or trying to play a smart game here and then the system find out from you then you will blame yourself. The forum is meant to learn bitcoin and it wallets. And there are two things according to people one must do here and the first thing to do is to learn bitcoin and anything around it and when you have learned, you also pass out the knowledge acquired to other people.

When I was a newbie I was also thinking from this angle but as I rank up the mentality was removed but to say the truth, having the thick skin and move on.

When you are a newbie, you should have two things: patience and ignore power. Because patience is a common thing in our lives, we always have to wait for something with patience. Good things always won't come faster anyway. The second is to ignore; you have to ignore bad things and criticism from the forum. At the beginning, we won't have any proper knowledge anywhere. So for the forum, also the same. Due to our unfamiliarity with the forum culture, we may make mistakes. We have to ignore when someone criticises our mistakes and should learn from them. That's how we have to focus on learning and become an established member here.
This is quite hard for beginners at first since majority of them turn offended when criticized and lost their interest to continue posting in the forum if they think those posts were not noticed and given merits. However, if they will go back to their goal why they enter the forum, then they will come to understand that patience and ignoring negative criticisms are the keys so they will last longer in the forum. Otherwise, if they turn emotional every time they get criticized and become impatient since no merits have been given, then they’re not good enough to be part of the forum.

OP, I do like your post and would like to point out: Is it good for a forum to require "The power of consistency, patience and perseverance?" What if people just want a friendly place to get started with BTC, where do they go?
Of course bitcoinTalk is the right place for you to get started on your Bitcoin journey but being a member of any forum, you must apply a process always, "give and take" or as a newbie let's say, "take and give" you go through the forum as there are a lot of interesting threads, take as much knowledge as you can about Bitcoin and it's potentials then give back to the forum by passing on knowledge and sharing your experiences with newbies after you and users before you. Patience, perseverance and consistency are essential qualities for a successful forum, bitcoinTalk is a friendly place for you to get started regardless of the criticism we (newbies) get once in a while. I hope I have answered your question?

Being consistence and perseverance is not always mean that we need to keep posting everyday, I think it's also not wrong if we feel that our post or their writing is getting meaningless and dull, and they decide to spend more time on just reading some post and getting information and learning, and then when we think we have enough resource and knowledge we ready to post we can post again. Sometimes just reading stuff and filing our glass, will end up giving better result than just spitting non-sense relentlessly.

Sequel to what this users I quoted above have said, it is obvious that OPs threads are so similar and always pointing towards one direction but I don't mean to make the OP feel bad but it's high time he/she started making more distinct threads rather than looking as if he/she is making a repetition of his/her other threads. Sounding motivational is a good one but at least what we need is action and not continuous motivation without results, would be glad if OP focus more energy on things that are more of importance to the forum.

However ,  i have seen some newbies here with 100 activity and 0 merit please don't be discouraged or feel that you don't know how to make quality post ,just know that those post are very relevant and time will come when they will be merited.

lastly, always see the high ranked members as motivation because they where once newbies ,they also made some similar mistakes like you and i but patience, consistency and perseverance brought them thus far. following their footsteps will enable us grow they are here as helpers ,moderators and instructors . sometimes they might criticize your post , don't panic or feel bad just have it mind that it is a way to make you grow like them because when you are criticized you learn more.
I like Everything you have said OP, I'm a newbie so I will speak for myself on this topic (I know most newbies feel the same way too) I always say that our high ranked members are tough and strict (which is good actually) and you must be tough too to survive here. After going through the forum rules carefully I developed a phobia of "less quality post" (I have had my own share of criticism) during my first/second/third month here as I have often seen that shit post are highly prohibited, some times I would want to drop my reply on a thread but I will end up wiping everything I have type saying to myself that it isn't good enough but regardless I ain't giving up, I have learnt to be patient in this forum, and about being consistent, I am always here going from one board to the other reading and trying to understand a few things better before I can be able to fully contribute.

it's like that, but it's also a natural law, whoever can't keep up with developments will be eliminated, I think that's something that usually happens everywhere, even outside this forum. I often find people like that, but if they just feel tired we can just encourage them, but if they are really lazy from there, just leave it, don't waste energy, keep moving forward.

As a newbie to the forum, the criticism is actually there at the beginning. I myself am not very old in this forum. I have sometimes been criticized for some of the things I have presented. At first I was pretty annoyed to be honest. But I slowly started realizing later that actually through this I can correct my mistakes and move forward And I find it very encouraging that even though the senior members here criticize, most of the members show you the path where you actually have success. This has increased my respect for senior people in this forum. Now I am fully motivated to stick to this forum regularly and be patient.

Many people are introduced here, but their lack of patience sends them packing. Some recognize their own merit and discourage others from trying, which is why the majority of new users are not increasing. However, if you remember that you are capable of succeeding, you won't find anything too challenging, even though better things never come easily.

In fact, everything is much simpler. There is no need to force yourself to visit the forum. How the OP expresses patience. Who and what should we tolerate here? The forum does not hold anyone by force. It's just that people who come here don't understand the real purpose of the forum. They go for money, and that's why they need ranks.
But does everyone admit that those who are interested in Bitcoin should not be patient, or is something else from the OP’s advice important to them? He just is. He comes when he needs it, when he is interested, asks when he doesn’t know, and teaches when he has something to say, without inventing anything and without forcing himself with the thought of benefit.
If you are sincere, you will be noticed and recognized.

I always knew that the forum is not for Everyone and that some people no matter how Much they try to become regular members of this forum with their contributions they will never be at peace and will never see the forum as home. So some newbies are also quitting the forum not because their posts have not been merited or because they have been criticized but just simply that they are not comfortable with the consistency that the forum demands and they know that within them self they will not be able to provide it sustainably for a long time.

Yes, that does typically happen to nearly every new users  who joins this forum. Some people simply won't improve their consistency because they're worried about the criticism they'll get after contributing to a deal. Because everyone joins the forum to learn and nobody is above making mistakes, new users are unable to develop successfully because they are unaware of this. Instead, they should always feel free to remark on any thread that they feel they have anything to say.

Success doesn't comes so easily and if you have a place and a chance to be corrected please don't be angry with what you are seeing because there's no place that people will be that 100% right without an error or mistake and the mistakes is what actually brought correction between us and if you are being corrected and you suddenly picked offence this shows you are not willing to learn or to be changed so easily.

At first before any high rank gives you merits they must first sees you a consistent person someone who is not coming to hustle for merits and run away, merits are being giving to people whom they sees to be very active and posting without any compromise or without going off after some days of the activeness if a member finds out that you aren't focused on serious about your activeness he don't mind skipping your profile next he finds it.

So, some of the newbies are easily noticeable and nobody would want to waste their merits in profile that is not serious in his work or posting over here, don't get it twisted because there some people who post once and goes off yet they still received merits base on the ground that their post are worth merits or maybe are found valuable to community then you will see merits flowing in but when post doesn't worth it i don't think anyone would want to waste their merits just like that. The main thing is be consistent, be active and be following up post according to what the topic is saying then merits is sure.

But I like this merit effect. A lot of people work hard to make the best posts to get Merit awards. New people sometimes forget to measure their strength.  So they often think too far and make them feel difficult. The best right is to work according to your ability, because in the end your knowledge will expand and have a wider range of discussions. You can continue to learn and observe, discuss on the best topics that are mastered and expand on other topics. Observe modifications to the best of your ability.
Personally I've observed that if you have got good quality with your post, getting merited wouldn't actually be much of a problem because most of the post that have quality has got a way of contributing positively to the lives of the readers so they are definitely going to reward your quality but expecting merits on poor quality post is something that isn't realistic because most persons wouldn't see the value your post is adding to them so it will not trigger the drive to reward your contents with merits but a good quality post gets merited with or without much stress.

Even while working according to your availability, always make sure to maintain quality because that's the only way to getting rewarded well enough so you get to scale new ranking on the forum and earn better reputations on the forum.

Inorder to grow and be perfect in anything that we're engaged in we need these three attributes that you mentioned, consistency, patience and perceverance, so we can overcome obstacles along the way to our goals. This is an anonymous forum and we have experienced members with different temperaments, so for a newbie to learn from their knowledge, he needs to understand these three attributes, so he won't take any criticism personal, but focus on taping from their experience to increase his crypto knowledge. Newbies that enters this forum with the sole aim of getting merit and ranking up, will miss the learning process, they should focus on increasing their knowledge and manifesting it in quality posts, merits will come eventually.

Of course growing a thinker skin is a great advise for newbies like us. I have been in the same level with you for some months ago when I make contribution in discussions it been appreciated because before i dive into any discussion I must be well aquatinted with the knowledge I'm about to share and it helps me make research and the result for that was merit.

if your being criticized take it as a challenge and build yourself. I was so unhappy when I got first criticism here but I took it upon myself to change the narrative, with the links that where shared with me I put in some effort to read them hence I became little bit knowledgeable you too can do same.

The forum is not a tough place, let not make it sound as though we're in a military ground in the forum. It's actually a liberal space where we all express ourselves and concerns with cryptocurrency knowledge at the center of all discussions. If a newbie feels he/she is unable to contribute to discussions resourceful then what he/she is expected of is to swing into personal research and learning as there's no other magic to be relevant here in the forum than the amount of knowledge you possess.
