We can not guaranted our decision when choose crypto for holding will be right and its will promising high profit, because crypto that have strong fundamental can be going down in bearish mode. Each decison should be also with risk management so if our decision is wrong we can minimize the loss. Risk management become the most important factor to get successfuly when we make invest in high fluctuacion of market.

Decision making is very hard for anyone of us specially when you are in the hard times and in a short period of time. Mostly we fails because of our wrong decisions and we just realize it after.

Follow your instincts. If you ask for a piece of advice from others, let those be your guide only. Most of them are not genuine and leading you to false hopes. So better do your own due diligence and decide for yourself. Most of the review sites are crap. They are just being paid by those project owners.

like you said, do your own research, that's very important. I I saw a coin someone defined dead some weeks back bounce back and had some pretty good gains couple of days back.And for project updates, follow their telegram updates especially, that's where the major updates happen.

It is just fine to ask others opinion but make sure that the person you will ask for advice or opinion has the credibility and that you knew him/her enough. You are right that most people would advice you with their underlying motives but as a trader or investor we often have that someone whom we know we can follow because he has the capacity and credibility base on the result of his action. And also we can rely with our instinct and gut feel at times so you just have to trust yourself as well.

Of course, carrying out personal research to decide which project/coin to invest on is the best. Since two heads are better than one they say, it is not a bad thing to seek opinions from others who are also experienced in this line but not in a public place as this. One can ask from friends who you are sure will be 100% sincere with their responses which won't be for the sole purpose of pumping the tokens/coins in their own bags.

If people start learning cryptocurrency on their own, they will make many mistakes. It will be very good if they have good friends at the same time, who will suggest practical solutions to cryptocurrency issues. Well, this isn't as easy as it seems. Research and Updates actually can be done quickly from some refference and articles, But we just can't trust what had been written there. Because sometimes its already utilized from rumors before the news come up to the website.

People will always ask for advice because they don't want to take responsibility for their actions. It is easier for them to do as they were advised, and then blame the person for their failures.

If i make mistake through my own decision, i will take full responsibility for it, but if my decision is based on what i am told to do, without thinking for myself. After making mistake, who do i shift the blame to? It wil still be on me, but i will blame myself more, because i will look more grievous.
When you make decision by and for yourself, you tend to learn fast though it and you can easily avoid repeating the same mistake.
