You shouldn't be alarmed about the price at all since you know that we will eventually pick up later. What you should be alarmed of is the news about bitcoins, but at the moment, there's nothing alarming at all.

[2] Probably some panic sellers are the reason behind this price decrease. Panic sellers always find a lame reason to panic sell. "Oh, I've read a post about bitcoin ETF not getting accepted. I don't even know if it's reliable/credible, but I'm still selling my coins."

I find this post cute. But I guess I got your point and it must be something to do with branding. Bitcoin has already become the brand synonymous with digital currently and all other are indeed just alternative coins. Bitcoin will always be the leader being the "original" and the first to ever penetrate the massive market. Bitcoin speaks of the future.

Yes the popularity of bitcoin is well known right now I am seeing every movie's and media entertainment are showing some support by including maybe just one word the bitcoin name on their shows and some advertisement right now even if not showing the full potential of bitcoin on it, or explaining it on air some people are getting curious because of that slick move! I think it is still hard to guess if the value of bitcoin will go down or up and that is the puzzle that we users are trying to solve if what kind of value bitcoin would give us.

That's surely a puzzle for us because we do not know what will really happen, the recent big price fallback is very alarming but guess what I'm still holding my bitcoins and I will not panic like the others are doing.

I believe it will be back to normal and since there is no relevant news that I have read on why the price fall that big, then I would assume it's just normal and just focus on the future to come. As long as we are monitoring the price and the relevant news, we can always make a decision that is based on our evaluation and I know we differ on that matter.

If bitcoin will reached a failure and dead coin status then so on with the idea of people using cryptocurrency in their preferred own ways. I agree that bitcoin is growing but I hope you are aware that bitcoin has a system which allows only 21 million bitcoins to be mined. So if you see the statistics till now around 16million or something is already mined so after all bitcoins are mined what it will stay around for a while and mostly people will start selling.

However perfect the ideas gets evolved, bitcoin won't bow down to other digital currencies as every coin existed based on bitcoin's technology. Eth and dash too getting stronger, but this doesn't mean that it takes lead of bitcoin and grab the first position in the digital world.

I think people will always find a cooler name than bitcoin, but the reason why Bitcoin is number one because of being the pioneer of cryptocurrency and being adopted by majority of population of cryptocurrency. And that is also the reason why Bitcoin is almost the best name for cryptocurrency.

This bitcoins is vey helpful to others, many people became rich because of bitcoins. And many people at the same time gaining for their everyday needs. Bitcoins are such a good idea that the government doesn"t accept wholely because they don't even know what is the advantages and benefits of using bitcoins. People can use it to buy online for fast transactions and bitcons is very hassle free because you don't need to bring some money when you buying, all you have to bring is your cp and you can buy in some shops that accpet bitcoins. True, a big number of the bitcoin users have only started using only for one reason and that is because of its high price, and the more the price goes up the more popular it gets and I don’t think that at any time the bitcoin is going to be replaced even if the price goes down, because there will be people always believing in it.

Price is one of the reason why bitcoin is on the top and that is why also users or people are getting into bitcoin because they see a bright future for the bitcoin by just basing on the price history on candlestick chart. But i do believe that the main reason for bitcoin for being on the top one is the trust of the investors that are still in bitcoin because you can see the volume of money that invested in bitcoin so i think the trust of people is the main reason why.

Do you really think, only just with name bitcoins stay as a number one cryptocurrnecy. It has all the potential as well as smart features. Hence we can be sure any new coin cannot compete bitcoins to break the number one positions.

Yes, that is why some of the people used bitcoin in some illegal activities like buying illegal stuffs online, drugs, guns and so on. Most of the people are attracted on the bitcoins price, especially those people who needs fiat for their financial needs everyday, but for those people who don't have any problem in money, bitcoin anonymity is what they are after for their dark plans.

So, that is why some of the bitcoins are banned on some countries, and that is why bitcoin is awesome, because of its advantages which can be used on good and bad things, depends on the user though.

and if this is what the most people do in out there, i think bitcoin will be banned by many countries because their government don't want allow bitcoin for any illegal activity and it makes bitcoin can not grow in future and we can not see bitcoin to be used in every where. people that use bitcoin for illegal activity seeing bitcoin as their chance to do something that is not right and they can feel save to use bitcoin. i think we should stop this activities because this will give bad impact for bitcoin itself.

Dash (Digital-cash) is a good name too but IMO only sounds good for users speaking english.

There are many coins that has a good sound to its name and more cooler than the name of bitcoin. DASH is a good coin to it is third next to bitcoin and ethereum. But setting aside the name, the reason why bitcoin is in the top 1 cryptocurrency list is not just because of the capital that was showered upon bitcoin but the trust and confidence of bitcoin users and holders that keep supporting it over the years.
