The main problem is that people are not used to a financial tool that gives them 100% financial freedom. One of the major advantages of using Bitcoin as a financial instrument is that you do not have to use a Broker to handle your finances, they just take a large portion of your profits and a lot of them are running off with people's money or they invest it in something where they can gain something.  Roll Eyes

So, now you are left with a bunch of lazy people who does not do proper research and who are blinded by greed. A perfect recipe for scammers to enter as third parties to scam people out of their money.  Tongue

All of us note that the market of the Crypto has become a breeding ground for fraud and fraud and is very disturbing
But what are the reasons for this?
For several reasons, I will explain some of them.

First: the entry of large numbers of people to the market without any knowledge or experience in it
Where people are entering the market of the Crypto and they think they will put $ 10 and will get in a month on $ 1000 of them, meaning colloquial thinkers Almsari exist tree
Halshi happened a lot at a time of great height for the young as the sites spread monument and investment false for the developers.

Second: dealing with unreliable people  Many people lost their money as a result of dealing with selling or buying with unreliable people without using a broker.

Third: Investing in unsecured currency projects
Many currency projects have begun to spread, unfortunately, in a large number of people, with covetousness and buying from the ICO stage
Because they are convinced of the currency team's words without being sure of their credibility.

The price of Bitcoin is known to be volatile. In recent years, we have seen large movements (both up and down) in the span of a few days, hours and even minutes. The Bitcoin market is still small, so this number is a reasonable entry number, and not too different from gold and other major currencies. Price changes are normal in any market. Equally interesting, the compilation of Bitcoin prices is increasing, people will increase FOMO: fear of being left behind (afraid to miss). They are afraid to miss opportunities to get rich and they hope prices will continue to increase, so they start buying Bitcoin, increasing demand and prices. This increases the natural fluctuation of Bitcoin.

That's the reason why we have to gain knowledge about the basics of crypto first before we enter and depositing anything. Investing without further information about the fundamentals of crypto is a big risk. There are people specially the old ones who are depositing and expecring too much where they are even trusting unreliable people.

I would not give a remark on how you formatted your post but the thought per se is valid. Many people have been continuously thinking that bitcoin and crypto is yet another piggy bank that they could get hefty profits from, with promises of easy riches from con artists which doesn't end well. They got it coming though, without even thinking of the possibilities that can happen with their money, they just jump in and invest anyway. No matter how much people educate newbies, they still dive in things head first with only a knee-deep understanding of cryptocurrencies.

The second point made by the op is controversial. It's true that some people got scammed because there were no intermediaries to secure the deal. However, I am sure that perhaps even more people list their money exactly because of all sorts of intermediaries. I lost by Ethereum because the wallet company decided to scam everyone. Many people list their money on exchanges that did the same thing. If your money is stored in a wallet provided by some company, you are at risk already. And the more middle people there are in transactions, the more risky the whole process becomes.
The other two points seem valid to me.
And please reformat the text like others ask you to.

Well I don't think the list is that short and the topic shouldn't be what the OP wrote probably it should rather be reasons for the spread of cryptocurrency loss.

In your second submission, I strongly advise dealing with unknown peoples or someone is not well known for their integrity. Many have been screwed and end up calling bitcoin a scammers paradise. I usually will teach newbies how to use a local exchange in my country, I do even discourage them from buying from me, so they don't fall for scammers the time I might temporarily not available.

You are right at 100%. All the reasons that you indicated in your post are the real reasons why thousands of people have become disillusioned with cryptocurrencies. The problem is not that cryptocurrencies are not prospects and have no need, but that they did not meet the expectations of many people who hoped to get rich quickly. But many people did not even bother to find out what cryptocurrencies are, what their purpose and prospects are. Greed moved the market up at a staggering pace, and then the market collapsed and all these people began to claim that they had been deceived. And the problem is themselves

I think one of the reasons for this is because they were fed with the wrong information. Let's take a look back at what happened in 2017 the year where it all began. People and investor went crazy with the price of bitcoin when it reaches an ATH. This kind of news will really motivate people to enter the market without proper knowledge or experience.

I want to point out that "The people without any knowledge of experience in it" works for practically anything, not only crypto-related issues. Also, in the internet businesses that you as an individual could earn money from it, it tends to happen a lot too. People or fake businesses created to scam or make people waste time or both for selfish reasons.

Where scammers see opportunity, that's where they will be.

The issue with this is not positive exposure to the knowledge and the background of bitcoin people only belief its a hype and don't understand that its basically the future.

I think that one is mostly the reason, they don't have enough knowledge they think crypto as a ponzi game where returns are good and quick.
They usually are the weak hands as well who will dump when the market is shaken.

Solution to this is proper education, if they will learn then they can improve by next time.
Eventually this market will mature as more mature investors will come, it's just normal at the early stage of crypto.

Nope, wrong advice. Brokers are part of the problem, because most of them do not know what Bitcoin is all about, to them it is just another commodity with huge potential for profits.

Do your own research, buy your own coins and store your own coins and you will be fine. It gets complicated when people start using intermediary services and it is also more expensive, because they add their fees on top of that.  Angry

I don't understand item #2. Do you mean, using a broker in your trading activities? You don't need your own broker when you trade in exchanges. Since you really don't know the people doing the trading, and that's given already, you should know when to get in and when to get out. If you are trapped in a pump and dump schemes and getting in the wrong time, you will be a bag holder of useless coins. You need to understand the coin before plunging into the unknown.

I think he means losing money on localbitcoins as well as on exchanges. When you think of the number of exchanges that have been hacked, usually by an insider, it's shocking. MtGox, Cryptsy, Mintpal, BTC-E, Binance, those two Japanese exchanges, and so on.

Back in the early days when lots of trades took place on this forum between trusted members (trading based on personal reputation and feedback), it was actually safer. Trusting an exchange is a complete leap of faith as most of us do not know all the employees and lots of shady stuff goes down behind closed doors.

Nothing new here. Good effort though op. IEO is the new trend now and I hope they don't end up becoming controversial like ICOs which have put a dent on the legitimacy of the cryptocurrency market on the whole.

I personally earned big profits from the 2017 bull run, but most of the coins that gave me so much ended up becoming shitcoins at the end of the day. Bitcoin will always be the safest option in this aspect.

My eyes! My eyes!

There are just people who will just come in and put money into crypto hoping they earn in a period of time to buy lambo, this is because its been advertised. Those who earned a lot last bullrun are bragging their new car which the money he bought comes from BTC investment. Seen them on facebook, eventually they can use this to scam.
Those who believe will have to suffer when they lose the money and only then they will realize its not really true that they can earn quickly because they bought BTC.

Coming up to the topic, he have good and informative points although I believe it has been discussed many times before but still good effort from newbie aside the decision to use big bold font.

I have added full stops and deleted some unnecessary new lines however I really did not understand this.

I hope it's not plagiarized.

I dont think it is plagiarized post, I tried a quick check and it seems a unique post which is not available on other places.

Anyway, the words are hurting my eyes and I am sure it's gonna do the same for others. You do not need to bold and use larger fonts for these. Just keep the regular fonts, you don't even need the bold tag too.

Yap, it hurts reader. He should use normal font size and bold some of the words which is the main idea of the post. I think you are right that he is trying to get attention with the big bold font in order people will read it, but in fact it is annoying to read such big bold font.

Maybe what he means is "escrow" for peer to peer trading (selling and buying btc)
