So I'm not Paul Vernon anymore?  You dissapoint me.  Smoke a bowl and do a weeklong meth binge and get that paranoia into high gear, it will come to you.  Lol

Who you really are will one day be determined. Wink

What we do know is you and/or the others are using fake personas and/or assumed alias/ are involved with identity theft. Shocked

I think we'll see only 2 gaining traction.  They're preparing 2 wallet versions, with and without an algo change depending if they need to protect themselves from the miners.  My guess is the miners will do their own thing on the original chain using sidechains so then the new Bitcoin will indeed use a different PoW algo so that will be the wallet they use which will result in two coins (original and classic although I really can't see them both using the Bitcoin name).

This is effectively printing another 21 million bitcoins, 100% inflation overnight.  200% inflation would be too much at this point.  Maybe next year they'll dilute us again.

Enjoy your "free" bitcoins - and don't worry about market forces, they'll pump it up like Hanz and Franz.

52

Is there more to it?  52 alone doesn't add up.

Edit:  Got it.  Was looking for something more complex.  It's my natural inclination.  Smiley

Spinnin' Satoshi!

Right when you think Dr. Wright is gone, he gets spun up again.  People really can't see this guy is about to blow up crypto?  I can't wait!!!

Bizarre audio, very bizarre, but definitely a MUST hear!

Not much longer now.  I think 30-60 days Wright is gonna prove he is Satoshi.  Then all you Satoshi worshippers are gonna lick his 9 blocks and supercomputer for mocking him all this time.  lol

Oh shit, Andreas is finally right about something.  LATE, but at least he's finally right.

[Cointelegraph] - Bitcoin will have a hard-fork, eventually, I think," predicts the author of Mastering Bitcoin. "When bitcoin has a HF, there will be 2 chains after the fork and there will be 2 coins. It is almost guaranteed that some people will refuse the new chain and will remain on the old chain. There are enough people with significant amounts of bitcoin who will never agree to a fork and can afford to keep mining the old chain. Ethereum demonstrated this issue very well.”

---

Boy, we're so lucky banker backed Ethereum came along when it did, luckily had their DAO hacked [with no crime committed], then hardforked against popular vote and luckily had both chains survive and do well and luckily also worked out all the bugs like replay-attacks.

Boy that worked out nicely for the classic camp.  lol

The good news is that if you lost everything on Bitfinex you'll get it all back.  The Chinese will be playing ball with the Bitcoin split now so they won't lose the 120,000 BTC.

But this Hardfork will change everything.  Not that the pipedream was ever real but most really did drink the crazy crypto koolaid.  Shame on you!!!

You guys ready for Satoshi/Wright?  I pee myself a little everytime I think about it.

Bring me that #AussiePower, Dr. Wright!!!

This is gonna be sooooooo much fun!!!!

The main things I have learned as a trader of crypto is to not get too attached to any coin and to take profits when they present themselves. My best strategy so far is to buy while the price is going down, and sell while price going upward (sounds easy right, in theory it is).

Stay frosty.

-PoolMinor

My problem isn't picking coins which will skyrocket, but selling them in time.  I tend to choose coins which give me a strong feeling of conviction and sometimes the fundamentals aren't as strong as my feelings, or at least the timing isn't right yet so I tend to hold and not sell.  I need to learn to sell after having really good profits staring me in my face.  It is definitely easier said than done.

Staying frosty!  Smiley

Leave it to the government to set you up!

[Bitcoin.com] - Bitfinex Hack: US Regulation [CFTC] ‘Prevented Cold Storage Use’
By William Suberg -  August 3, 2016

---

If you can't get a couple federal agents to work on the inside [like with Gox] that's a good way to set up a Chinese exchange for a massive hack.

Serious talk of a blockchain rewind or better yet, supporting a Hardfork should be imminent now.  With the Chinese onboard a Bitcoin split at this point is a near guarantee.  They have to choose between playing ball or going bankrupt, Gox style.

It definitely looks like bitcoin is being steered in that direction alright

So nearly 120,000 bitcoins stolen.  Hacker all in your face playing games.  This is so much like the DAO hack.

So is this additional incentive for the community to support a Bitcoin Hardfork?  Or maybe the hack is legit, done to incentivize the Chinese miners/exchanges to go along with a split.

Crypto is getting crazier by the day.

Bitfinex hacked for ~$90 million.  Bitcoin drops hard to $550.

I wonder if we're about to see a mad rush into ETC.

This news is old but it looks like government is supporting crypto.

Even the Us Department of Homeland Security is funding Factom. I don't understand what is so great about this coin that can attract the attention of the US government.

http://www.the-blockchain.com/2016/06/19/us-department-homeland-security-funds-funds-factom-iot-border-data-blockchain/

I saw that a while back.  If I'm not mistaken China also gave factom some contracts or some money.

At any rate, the governments of the world and banks/corps are no longer pretending they hate Bitcoin.  They got the traction they needed, now it's time to push it mainstream and blow it up in an unworldly way to bring in the groupthink muppets of the world.

I wish they'd do the Bitcoin Hardfork ASAP cause that's the one thing that makes things difficulty to predict - mainly the Bitcoin price.

Cute [rigged] polls to make it all, oh so legit!  Cause they love the community and people!

---

---

This poll is more rigged than the DNC primary.

This is all so predicable, I wish we could just fast forward to the good part where Dr. Wright comes in and proves he is Satoshi beyond a shadow of a doubt and I go atomic and blow my uranium core all over cryptoworld!  Can we do that now cause I can't wait any longer.  Pretty please!  lol

Pffft. This feels bad...

It might get ugly.  But exciting.

That's why I've been saying:  "It's gonna be a hot summer."

I thought it was gonna go down by August, but looks more like Fall.
