Ethereum Vapor is Hardforking!!!  Flush it!!!

---

Email from Kraken:

The ETH hard fork:

As you may know, the Ethereum community has elected to do a hard fork in order to resolve the DAO exploit. The MainNet block on which the hard fork will occur is set at 1920000, which should be reached on Wednesday July 20 (this is only an estimate however).
---

Just a month ago the fetus guy was publicly laughing at Gavin, talking about signaling theory.  I doubt Gavin would make such a ridiculously obvious coding error and then destroy the rep of the coin forever by Hardforking it.

Speaking of signaling, Vitalik, you're sending out the wrong signal, brother!

The only reason Ether hasn't collapsed to a penny, and is still worth so much is due to the rich and connected insiders that are apparently gonna keep pushing their turd, even though their top coders [like Vlad Zamfir] have said, "Ethereum doesn't work, it has to be completely redone".

Welcome to the crypto status quo!

Cointelegraph - Once Libertarian Dream, Bitcoin Is Now Chinese Currency

---

When China started banning Bitcoin 2.5 years ago I said it was a ruse so they could accumulate.  Now here we are.

But don't fret - China is gonna push Bitcoin mainstream in China in a massive way.  Then add the COIN ETF and you'll see the trillions of dollars coming into Bitcoin like I've been saying for 3 years.

It's gonna be mind-numbingly ridiculous.  Generational wealth lost, made and transferred overnight.  Hope you muppets are loaded up cause I have a feeling China is gonna make a big move later this summer.

China et al LOVE Bitcoin!

I don't understand what STEEM is about. This coin is risen exponentially in a few weeks.

It seems that many of the altcoins are in a bubble as their value have increased a lot.

Haven't researched steem much but it's about social credit system I believe.  China is going big on that as well.  I think Steem is target in Social Networks like Facebook.  I'm sure they'll do well in their niche market but the current spike in price had little liquidity.

That said, I don't want IX to be just a niche market currency.  IX is designed to be a daily currency - used for everything Bitcoin was meant to be used for.  And that, that is the real deal and it should demand a massive market cap!!!

Just gotta open the eyes of the world to the potential of IX.

[CryptoCoinsNews] - Leading Bitcoin payment processor, BitPay, recently endorsed an innovative Bitcoin company, ShapeShift. In a blog post, the company described how one could use ShapeShift to pay for things in crypto-currencies other than Bitcoin through BitPay.

ShapeShift CEO Erik Vorhees calls the website, “the Google Translate of crypto-currencies” referring to how easy it is to transfer from one crypto-currency to another.

Erik, even this article spelled your name wrong.  You know I'm the only guy in crypto that cares enough to spell your name right.

Soooo...

IXCoin gets another chance on shapeshift.  Let's do this the nice way.  Smiley

Like I always said, governments love Bitcoin/Blockchain more than even banks or corporations.

Not much time left, monkeys, do what I did, sell your house, car, and clothes off your back and jump in before it's too late.  You can still become a multi millionaire off just a few grand but that window of opportunity is quickly closing.

And this thing with Ukraine, it's the first govt to do such a thing?  This is a Russia approved/sponsored test programme.

Deutsche Bank's Chief Economist Calls For €150 Billion Bailout Of European Banks

The cards have been tipped, and it appears Italy's Prime Minister may have been right.

In the aftermath of Brexit, much of the investing public's attention has turned to Italian banks which are in desperate need of a bailout as a result of €360 billion in bad loans growing worse by the day (and not a bail-in, as European regulations mandate, as that would lead to an immediate bank run) to avoid a freeze and/or collapse of Italy's banking sector. This has pushed stock prices - and default risk - on Italian banks to record levels. So far Italy's bailout requests have mostly fallen on deaf ears, as Germany's political leaders have resisted Renzi's recurring pleas for a taxpayer funded rescue. However, as we have alleged, and as the Italian Prime Minister admitted last week, the core risk for Europe is not just the Italian banking sector but the biggest bank of all in Europe: Deutsche Bank.

Recall last Thursday, when speaking at a joint news conference with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, Matteo Renzi said other European banks had much bigger problems than their Italian counterparts.

---

€150 Billion is the tip of the iceberg.  European banks are in worse shape than the U.S. banks were so they're gonna need multiple trillions and the only way they're gonna get that kind of money is by straight confiscation aka bail-ins.  It's an engineered scheme to motivate the sheep out of cash and into other assets.

...Enter Bitcoin and the mother of all asset bubbles [and wealth transfer] mankind has ever seen!

What is up with many of the altcoins being pumped like nobody's business.

I don't understand why this happens when there is no news. It seems that ETH has lost much volume and many of the btc are pumping the other alts.

I think there are millions of dollars leaving ETH and also BTC.  Speculators bought BTC hoping for a massive run after the halving but it didn't come.  Some of that money is finding its way into alts.

Great find.  I've been saying from the beginning that LTC and doge would be great coins to diversify into.

A device like that would be a game changer.  That's what the masses need to start using crypto.

From a purely technical standpoint I can not find a better coin than Blackcoin (BLK)

I'm a pure PoS believer....

However, I do hold almost as much IXC because I see it as the best long shot coin.  The best reward/risk.

2nd time I've heard that about BLK this week.  If I get the BTC in time I'll take a look at it.  Personally I've always stayed away from PoS coins cause they'll never be secure enough but short term even SHT should blow most coins out of the water.  At least that's the plan.  Wink

PoS has proved to be secure for quite some time.  Look at the number of nodes per market cap and compare BLK to any other coin...

I looked at the chart after that last post, and it looks like BLK is starting to rise.  It has been to low, for to long.

Bitcoin is dumping hard.  Halvening in less than 2 days.  I think a lot of people were holding BTC hoping for a huge run before the halvening. Now that it looks like the run is over i think people are dumping some of their BTC cause they see it as dead money and will buy alts.

If that's the case we could see select alts skyrocket in the next few days and weeks.  Some should go up 100+ fold.  I would focus on the ones with good devs, little to no inflation and mass accumulated and consolidated.

Things should get very interesting after the halvening!

So IXC is a great coin since it is merge-mined (very secure because of this) though I am unaware of its development status, does it even have a website?

LTC has also good security with a minimum tx fee that also won't have a similar issue that BTC has in regard to tx/s.

ETH has many problems, too many to list here.

Ripple never had a chance...not sure why people are still beating that dead horse.

Tether is a sure win, if you like a steady price of $1.

Then there are the other older coins (NameCoin, PeerCoin, NovaCoin, FlorinCoin)

I could code this message for you but perhaps next time. I do have about 500 LTC in reserve, also about 75,000 FlorinCoin. Otherwise all the other coins (except Bitcoin) I have purchased have seemed to have been a poor investment so far.

No, let's save the message coding for the special secret plans.  lol

-  I agree with you on the coins you listen although I think ripple is gonna well since banks seem to be adopting its platform but they'll use it in conjunction with other tokens like Bitcoin.

-  FlorinCoin, I used to own a huge amount of florin - I like their Alexandria plans but I'm not sure how far they can take it without big funding.

-  Ethereum is broken but too many big names and big money have committed so I think they'll re-code it from the ground up but that may take a long time.

-  IXC is actually developing [in stealth mode].  Smiley  The website is www.iXcoin.info.

-  I'm working on a minor perturbation but am missing one component.  Well, I think it's gonna be more of a interstellar supernova shockwave; I personally prefer that over minor perturbations.  Wink

I'm going maximum risk - all or nothing for iXcoin.  Whatever happens happens - but this is one event I won't hold back for any reason whatsoever.

I'd read about the Chinese bitcoin takeover possibility and gotten concerned enough to have two thirds back out into alts by now... everyone's expecting an easy price doubling or something like that from the upcoming halving  Lips sealed can't say I share the feeling, who wouldn't pick up some ltc in the 62's anyway. Something's just woke me up, it could be the impending death of bitcoin who knows... it's not good, and it's entirely possible.

Anything is possible around the halvening - we could go to $3,000+ or crash, it all depends on whether the network is attacked or if both sides have learned to compromise.  So far it's really calm so it's a good sign.  I too would buy some alts and LTC is an easy 10 fold from here with low risk.
