Emotions are hard to control especially we are just humans, emotions always take over us because of the rage that we are feeling in our hearts whenever we are losing in gambling, the hungriness in winning keep us on the verge of losing more money. It is easy to say and give some advice when you are not on the same shoe of a person who is addicted in gambling, because they can't let a day pass by that they are not playing gambling.

The secret in gambling is you, yourself, because you are the one who only have the potential to save yourself if you are drowning in gambling, others could give opinion but there is always you before anyone else in your life, so always listen to the good part of yourself.

Calmness and rationality in making decisions in my opinion are important things to learn in gambling.

I think you are right, and they are trying to get their money back by playing gambling more and more. So if they felt like that, I am sure that they will lose more money because if we want to recover the losses in gambling, we don't have a big chance.

I am not sure if they can be a disciplined person because as long as they still playing gambling, they are difficult to learn about the discipline. I already have seen my friends lose his chance to be a disciplined person, but he still tried it.

Agree. Emotions is what really kills it, as you could lose all of your money in an instant. Sometimes it's best not to be too greedy, in order to maintain your financial stability for years to come. Despite this, gambling makes us think that we'll become rich in the long run. It's that feeling that keeps you going, no matter how much money you lose in the end. As for me, I try to play it safe by not betting more than what I can't afford to lose. After a long time playing popular games like Dice and Slots, I've found out that there's really no secret to gambling at all. Most games are based on luck, where a few are based on your skills. If you're good enough playing games like Poker and Blackjack, then chances will be that you'll win more than you'll lose over time.

Nonetheless, the best route for any gambler would be investing into the casino's bankroll. There is still some risk involved here, but it's much lower than playing games with the hope of profiting in the short term. All in all, with discipline, you'll be able to control your emotions in order to stop gambling at the right time before it's too late. Just my opinion

When someone continues to gamble despite losing streaks and come back to gamble then it's right, it's no longer looking for a secret in gambling and no longer looking for a secret to win, because it is an addicted behavior that basically they no longer care how much money that has been spent, because by becoming a gambling addict they only need to gamble every day even though they have suffered losses.

For sure emotions and gambling can not be done together if you  want to become successful in gambling you will have to control your emotions you will have to keep your mind active while choosing a game and you will have to remain fare in gambling. The secret of gambling is to be patient and ignore your greed.

The most important thing to be a successful gambler is having the ability to control your emotion, without that, you will never be able to succeed as you will just fail to execute your game plan. We are using our intelligence here not our emotion because with more emotion, that will make you weaker and that will make you prone to getting addicted. It's a serious problem that would put you at a high risk and worse is you will get bankrupt because of that.

Those addictive gamblers you were talking about are not searching for any gambling secrets anymore. The only thing they want is return all if their losses in one bet, experience a rush if adrenaline once more.

In oreder to find some misterious secret or rather working strategy the gambler has to be disciplined person, must ignore his emotions. However, it is always hard work to control yourself, to train emotions and emotional actions of yours. It ain't easy thing to obtain a cool head, but still possible for everybody.

And they always end up like searching for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But they are incredibly hopeful. It is even at an unbelievable level. Many gamblers are not just guys trying to kill time away and waste some money in the process. Frankly speaking, many of them are obsessed. They are too hooked up with their search for that secret strategy which is nothing but a mirage. They are too hooked up with gambling because of their undying hope to win. Many of them are already acting outside reason.

But that is what happens with many gamblers. They still chasing their losses without realizing that what they did is not good for their money. I see some gamblers in real life cannot control themselves and lose many times, but they don't stop and still come back in the other day. I wouldn't say love what they are doing, its going to be more professional then that as a system to be successful they are prepared to put the work in and get the results and of course everyone loves being successful and winning but theres alot in playing sensibly properly that isnt enjoyable.
   Just I see alot of people doing what they love and wondering where it went wrong.   Me doing what I love is sitting in front of TV eating nachos with the best sauce, nothing disciplined or mindful about it and if anyone were to act similarly while betting they are not going to win they are going to 'spend' their money have some games and walk away with a bit less.   Thats how it goes for most of us as we are not ordered players enough to win like that.

What makes them become expert because they solely focus on gambling and spending much time in there. They were destined to be a gambling professional and actually they love what they are doing. Just like in basketball, if we want to become an MVP, will have to show that we are capable to be like that and we really have talent that could enough to compete the others. Sports needs knowledge and skills the same thing we have to acquire also before gambling.

Yes this is true we should have strong control over our emotional behave while gambling even if a person lose he should not lose hope or take stress about it better have good gambling play with care and fun. Just relax and put your effort other wise leave all on your luck I am sure after this you will be relaxed and win every time.

I really don’t like gambler who chases their losses and then cry after being totally dumped because this turns out that they cannot control their selves and the game controlling them which the stupidest thing in gambling world

Many gamblers have those experience, but some of them can resolve the problem so they can go to the right track. That will depend on each gambler and like you say, that will be up to them to treat gambling. The most gambler will be a failure to prevent addiction, and many of them will always come back to the gambling places.


But for me, discipline will be one of the secrets. You can see that for the new gambler who came to the gamblers place. They played the game more and more until their money is gone. They come back again in the other day and do the same thing as before. They don't know that they need the discipline to prevent from losing all the money. Chasing the losses will not be the right action, but that is happening to any gamblers.

Let us try to classify gamblers. I don't think there is one description that fits all gamblers. That is hasty generalization and that is not fair. I mean, not all gamblers are having a bad influence to their family. Not all gamblers are living a miserable life. Not all gamblers are gambling out of control.

Gamblers are basically individual human beings. And whatever attitude or behavior each of them has does not come from their being a gambler. On the contrary, their behavior or attitude is what makes gambling their uncontrollable vice, and perhaps gave gambling a bad name. Otherwise, all gamblers must have similar attitude, which is obviously not the case. I've known gamblers who are full of self-discipline and are responsible parents. 

Well you have a basis from your own experiences and that is a strong example of you not to become a gambler and not to let your life become miserable because of this field

My mother and father don’t gamble totally they always teaches us not to enter this but being a black sheep I made a decision and turns to be a gambler but I don’t use this to feed my family instead I sometimes try my luck with limitations and not just careless gambler

There are actually people who are considered successful gamblers and gambling was somehow their profession (there's a thread here about it). But it surely took them a long time before being an expert. For ordinary people, there could be a tendency that they will loose their sense of self control and the result would be a miserable life.

I think it's good that you know the situation of a gambler because of your parents. With that, I'm sure you want to be better than them. Not as a gambler but as an individual.

Most YouTube videos which explain several strategies to win Dice games, don't usually work at all. It's more the money that you'll lose in the long run instead of the other way around it. I believe that most gamblers are earning lots of money, only because they've heavily invested into a casino's bankroll. Another reason could be skill-based games, where they're not based on pure luck like other games available at traditional gambling sites.

In my opinion, it's best to learn how to play Poker or Blackjack in order to master them in the future. Once you place your bets, the odds of winning will increase by a long shot. Of course, there's always the risk of losing your hard-earned money playing these games. But compared with luck-based games like Dice and Slots, they're a better opportunity for profit.
