Gambling is about luck, greed and addiction. Casinos know it well and earn lots of money on gamblers.
This is why no casinos are going bankrupted because they know how the gamblers play. They know that there will still be greedy gamblers and they take advantage of it. For me, it is the most profitable business Cheesy. You can get a huge revenue in the long run but it needs a huge capital to build one.

The only thing gambler can do is to set loss and win limits. It may help to save a lot of money in the long run.
If only they know how to set limits then the number of gamblers who end up losing will decrease but they don't know how to set that is why they end up losing ALL of their money.

After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I don't see how can there be further secret to it. It's a gamble on whether you win or lose and the odds are always in favor of the house. No amount of superstition or mumbo jumbo that you do will change those percentages of winning, especially with online gambling games that involve crypto.

If you're playing poker and counting cards i could see how you could use that to your advantage if you're smart (genius) enough, but other than that, it's all the same. Just play!

That's because there's no such thing as a secret in gambling that can make a gambler win all the time. Gambling is created to benefit not the gamblers but the owners and the more you spend time playing and gambling the closer you'll get to the house edge and once your near the house edge then it'll be very hard to win anymore. In gambling you have to be wise and have self control to avoid losing more.
Well there is, the secret is to have self control to avoid addiction. If a gambler has self control then he will be able to know when to stop if he is on a losing streak instead of letting his greed take over. I don't agree that there is no secret in gambling, there is we just have to look for it and it also depends on how you look at things.

there are no secrets in gambling. it's just that on average at a gambling place, bankers are set to always win and players will often lose. if you can enjoy gambling, players can beat the banker easily and get lots of wins as well.

Gambling is as old as humanity and if there were a secret to be found it would be already found by now.Even with the huge advance of science the casinos are safe from it as they continue to operate and be in profit. That is because we still have not found a formula to beat luck and I doubt we ever will.
Yeah there are number of old gamblers but I have never hear about any such formula in gambling but most of the time I saw them saying that gambling is about luck, skills and carefully betting so if a person is having guts to play with care and gambling in a game he already interested in then he will win but it’s not fully about the gambler 50 percent of your winning is depending on luck too.

The golden secret of gambling is to end the event at that point by simply enjoying it by leaving the whole event intact, or attaining satisfaction in the event of a possible win.  It should not be forgotten that in gambling, since the winning party will always be the cashier, we should use the winnings not to bring them to a satisfactory level but to increase the main money.  Although there is no method or formula for a continuous win by gambling, knowing with our own limits will certainly be the most effective way to win.

You are right when you say that casinos win first of all in gambling. Because this is their business, so the chances of winning are higher. However, there are games where a lot depends on the player, such as most card games. In them, with the help of mathematical skills and a good memory, you can win in most cases. Casino calculate these people, and forbid them not, to come.

Yes, this is a good idea to know about gambling we should ask other people why they left gambling and why they are not gambling now. As much as I know gambling is good in case of being patient and controlling your emotions. Maintain your money also spend with care and real websites so many scammers are there better to take care of.

Controlling the emotions in one of the most important things in gamble. How many times haven't we seen users chasing small losses with big bets and go bust at the end. Know when to stop is maybe even important.

The moment you refer to (being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards, etc) is the one where you can judge whether you are in fact prone to this particular form of addiction.

Oh my, I think I misunderstood this part, by you saying this, I thought you agreed on this;

If you are having fun with something, you feel good afterwards, full of energy and strength to do many things, things you have to do for work etc. But there is little fun in being addicted. You are constantly nervous, playing much more than you should each day, feeling exhausted afterwards etc. That's how you know that you are not having fun with something, but rather becoming addicted to it. And the earlier you interrupt this downward spiral, the better

that is why I said what I've said

Well, I can't actually say that I disagree with this part

Rather, I proceed from this further. The point is, in general you can feel that way (tired, exhausted, nervous, etc) even if there is no addiction involved. After all, you may easily get tired or nervous after some strenuous effort or troubling affair, and that's perfectly natural to feel that way. But since we are talking about gambling here, we should look into what happens next, i.e. after you come back to life, so to speak

In simple terms, if you are not of a gambling type (a would-be gambling addict), you are unlikely to continue with gambling (at least, not as much as before) as your mind wisely follows your body to prevent further damage to it that so much gambling causes. You can think of it as a kind of chopper switch which gets triggered to interrupt cold-turkey any self-destructive behaviors, and which addicts obviously lack

That makes an interesting point

The moment you refer to (being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards, etc) is the one where you can judge whether you are in fact prone to this particular form of addiction. And the interesting part is that if some time "afterwards", i.e. after you have recuperated a little, you feel inclined to continue with your activity, that might be an addiction (and this is where you should stop and think). But if you don't, then it is not and you don't have to do anything
As a rule, everyone who is interested in gambling always says that he has no dependence on the game. Although we already know that everyone who gambles everyone has an addiction. This is what prevents us from stopping on time.

Ignoring the problem is deadlier than the problem itself. And it's scary to admit that one is a gambling addict. But unless they admit it to themselves and say it out loud that yes they have this problem and they will take care of it by filling the void with other pleasures, no one can really help them.
maybe what you're saying is true, someone who has been hit by a gambling addict will be very frightening if he can't control his emotions and calm when gambling. It should indeed be able to reduce the addiction to gambling by looking for other pleasures, but the name of addiction definitely takes time to get loose and support from people around.

Could you please be more specific what you disagree with?

Just in case, I'm not defining a gambling addiction in terms of being tired or feeling exhausted. It is what happens after you recover that can be used as a telltale mark or sign whether you are in fact developing a gambling addiction or not. If you feel like gambling again, then you definitely are

Conversely, if you don't feel the intolerable and irresistible urge to play again, you just walk away without looking back. Indeed, you may play again in the future, but you will soon get bored and tired, a sure sign that you are not a gambling addict, for any possible definition of the term

The moment you refer to (being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards, etc) is the one where you can judge whether you are in fact prone to this particular form of addiction.

I don't know how it stands in respect to "going over your limits" (probably, in this case your limits are such that you should never gamble in the first place). However, addiction means having an insane amount of fun (since otherwise you will not get addicted), but we all know the detrimental and oftentimes outright dangerous consequences of an addiction (not necessarily in gambling). So it looks like your "definition" of fun needs redefining

True, one can get addicted to anything he/she is having fun with, and gambling is far from being exception to this rule. The key is to spot the moment when your fun turns into addiction. It's not so hard to spot that moment, if by the "moment" we mean a period of time, which is several days long.

I disagree. Defining what addiction or knowing how to know if you are addicted to gambling (or to anything) is not always when you are "being constantly nervous, playing much more than you should, feeling exhausted afterwards" sometimes you also feel dull when you are addicted in gambling, what I mean is too much addiction makes you lose your self, for example, when you lost your capital, you deposit again, then you win, afterwards you felt happy and gamble again, it repeats (you lose again) but it change, you deposited again and lost in a row,

and that is when addiction kick in, you are not yourself but continuously betting in gambling, playing dice or poker, and you doesn't even care what would the result be, it is like you are throwing your life away.

Maybe you disagree because defining what addiction is and spotting the moment you start getting addicted to gambling are two different things. This topic is called "The secret of gambling?", and if we were trying to define here what addiction is, that would almost absolutely off topic, not to mention that hardly anyone needs a definition of addiction here, since it's a common knowledge.

What we are trying to do is to help gamblers to spot the moment when addiction starts to take over someone's life, and to kill it before it's too late, and keep on with healthy playing. I think, it can be one of the most valuable secrets of gambling.

Nonetheless, it's no secret that gambling is not for everyone. Inexperienced gamblers could easily lose all of their hard-earned money. If you ever win a game, it's best to keep the profit instead of using it for gambling. Proceeding with caution is key to avoiding unnecessary risks in this wild venture. Just my thoughts Grin
Nice nice. I like that expression that's why I emphasized it in your response. Grin

Anyway, as you have said, proceeding with caution is the key. And with that, caution is also to pause a while, analyze the situation like: Have you won enough already? Have I lost so much already? Should I continue or should I walk away now? It'll take just a few minutes of your time thinking about such thoughts. But it can make a huge difference that can last for a long time.
I tend to disagree with this mate, why need to proceed when we are already won?does this a greedy action?i think it’s better to say that “Stop for a while” and just return the next day or another as gambling will surely take your winning if you don’t want to stop when you’re already winning and this is based on experience.

So not, don’t proceed and find way home to chill and celebrate
Greediness, and maybe curiousity, which make people keep gambling although they are already win. It happen for some people especially when they are lose big, and then win it. They will curious if they can repeat their winning and then get back what already they lose. Not happen to all people, but much people will think about it when they win in gambling.
