I was really surprised to see France's starting eleven like that. I don't know why but Didier Deschamps didn't prefer choosing many of their main players in the starting eleven. This gave a chance to Croatia to upset them by a decent score as well. France were still the side to get ahead first but Croatia managed to answer later. In the last moments of the match, Croatia wasted a huge goal opportunity too. I liked their performance in this match against France. This was a really tough match for them but they still got one point at least.
It is difficult for the players to play football constantly and to start the nations league directly after their league is over. The Italy - Germany match is the result of this. The players are reluctant. Most football players are used to taking a vacation after the league and they want it. The body is getting tired. They seem to be at a low level psychologically as well. It was really bad that the nations league started a week after the leagues ended. There are players who have had very long and difficult seasons. Men should have at least some rest, both physically and mentally. When this is the case, they can't give themselves to the game anyway, they play very reluctantly.
Players are right to complain, some of them play over sixty games and this friendly league started without any holiday. Other players are already on vacation but these top class ballers constantly play matches. It's also hard for anybody to predict results of these games. You better stay away from these matches. I wouldn't call any result as "surprising" anymore. Whole construction of this tournament is bad, not a well-thought and doomed to disappear at some point.

I am not sure if I should wager on this or not. I did it on the first night, and lost almost all games. How are you guys deciding which teams will win? Based on the odds alone? Because, I am the proof that odds do not work, lost plenty of games where the favorites lost, and probably will happen again. Nation's league is unlike any other international game that I played before and I am guessing that it will probably go on like that for a long time.
I have to say the best thing to do right now would be to keep on staying away from it, at least for me. But, if I see a game that I would love to watch on tv, then I may reconsider my stance on betting on this.

well portugal will win this game easily, this shows how they are stronger and in the world they will be able to go far unlike teams like england, belgium and france that in my opinion are making zero effort in this league and can even reach the world and don't go far. those three teams I mentioned should use this league as preparation training for the world cup
Yes, Portugal pleasantly surprises with its solid game. As for the World Cup, I would not look so far - a lot will depend on who gets who in which round of the playoffs. You can play well and be strong but lose in the 1/8 to an equally strong team.

The best player by far. Because apart from being a playmaker, a scorer, he performs excellent defensively. He adapts to any system and an exceptional thing: it is running more than two years ago, honestly an incredible out of series. Messi will give everything in this World Cup, his highest level, since it will probably be his last World Cup and more than ever he wants to win it, I think that these years he took great care of himself just for this championship.
For Croatia vs France match, I don't think Croatia will win, don't underestimate France since Croatia has just lost and both need to win.
An interesting match could be between group one leaders Austria and Denmark... Judging by the first matches Denmark can be called the favourite, but it seems to me that here it will be an even game... I`ll probably try to bet on both teams to score... Although in the last three matches Denmark has won Austria without any goals back, but hopefully today it will be broken...

While Messi's performance was truly impressive, I wonder how the Argentinian team will play against stronger opponents. It is easy to play brilliant if your opponent lets you do it. Estonias FIFA rank is 110th, way worse than the ranks of the teams qualified to the World Cup. It remains to be seen how strong Argentina really is. I don't think they will have problems in their group (Saudi-Arabia, Poland and Mexico), but they will need to be strong if they want to survive the knock out games.before argentina played against estonia they defeated italy:

Many big nationd lost this week on the nations league competition i was not surprised that france lost against denmark since they have been on fire recently especially in the world cup qualifications but england loss yesterday was the most shocking one for me, before this game england was unbeatable for the last 9 games and they only lost one game in their last twenties and it was by penalties against italy in the euro final i think southgate is england problem he is a really bad tactician and he don't choose the right players i think if england wants to do something in the world cup they need a new manager.

I know the match will be difficult to predict even though they will improve from yesterday's defeat but their opponents are tough challengers also from Croatia and France.In terms of odds Croatia is certainly superior with @3.85 and France @2.05 but I'm not sure this match will be a draw so I didn't choose that bet, obviously in this option France are favored by many bettors but this time it's clear France can dominate their win after lost yesterday.

Expectations and reality are two completely different things, and given how Croatia looked against Austria and that France is an unsolvable enigma for Croatia, I do not see that France can lose today. Croatia has a chronic problem in attack because it relies on Kramaric, who rarely scores goals in the national team. With a defense that leaks in all directions, without Perisic who is probably the best player Croatia has at the moment, and if Luka Modric is not 100% only very bad France can save Croatia from another defeat.
