Benzema goal is the best one in this match, it requires a lot of talent and concentration although his team was 1 goal behind 2 minutes ago, I could say Benzema saved Deschamps this time Wink
I asked also whether Mbappe goal was legit. He was clearly in an offside position from that angle, the Spanish player touched the ball and modified its trajectory a bit then Mbappe continued the game and scored. I am not an expert but media will talk a lot about that imo.
Congratulations to France 1st position, it is well merited, congrats also to Spain for constructing a good team that might dominate the game in the future.
Benzema's goal came at the right time and did not allow the Spanish national team to feel their superiority and rebuild the team game according to the result of the match for this period. The Spanish national team had better control of the ball before, but the attacks of the French national team were more dangerous and when France failed to score once again hitting the crossbar with a rebound in front of the goal line, I said that such scattering moments could end badly and it really happened. However, Benzema's quick return goal quickly leveled the situation. As for Mbappe's goal, it turns out that it would be better if the Spanish player did not touch the ball. All these newfangled interpretations of the rules are confusing everything more and more, because Mbappe was still offside and the pass was clearly going to him. In any case, I would like to congratulate the French national team on a great game and winning the title!
Yes, Mbappe's goal itself is considered controversial because it smells of offside, but most explanations say that Mbappe's goal can be confirmed as valid because the ball had hit Spanish defender Eric Garcia, and the proof was France became champions. Grin
and France were a little worried after Varane could only play in the first half and in the 43rd minute had to leave the field, because he is a central defender that France rely on and but France can win without Varane.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
As I thought, France will win. The Spanish team has performed very well in the last few matches. Because of Mourinho they are now very stable as a team. There has been excellent bonding between the players. But then the team is not experienced. France is much more experienced than them. And the need for experience in such an important match is very important.

Yes really nice performance from spain in the first half but they are mostly young players they lack experience ...
We really cannot compare the experience and quality of players in the starting eleven of teams likes France, Germany, Italy etc with that of spain at the moment. Regardless with the fantastic dominant football coaching style of Luis Enrique, I think their performance was still good even though they played without some of their top defenders and strikers, and that they can also be an upset for any other team, play in big games and even contend for the world cup.

Big congratulations to the French side. Smiley

Quite a dull game. One gets the impression that this is not a final but a friendly match and the players are already thinking about the next round in the national championships. And the odds that the bookmakers are now showing live reflect this:
3,45 - 1,90 - 4,2
It would be a shame to see a zero draw and a penalty shootout lottery.

Thank God that as soon as I wrote this the game completely changed and we saw a decent number of goals for the final. Benzema and Mbappe once again proved why they are considered top players and made the result. By the way, according to the results of the tournament, Haaland turned out to be the top scorer with 6 goals scored.
Assuming the game ended in a shoot-out it would just be as good as the number of goals conceded during the match. Not all finals end in a straight win most end in penalty shoot out. Although goals add more fun to the game giving the fans some kind of excitement for their time. Both team gave in their best but the luckier ones with more effort made their way through thanks to:
Mikel Oyarzabal, Karim Benzema and Mbappe the all made the final worth watching

When you want to control France, you have to isolate Mbappe and Karim from the rest of the group.
The mission has been successfully completed in first half Spain was only missing a goal,  but France won the European Nations League Spain excelled and excelled until it scored the goal before the French team dud an uprising with a global goal from Karim.
A breath-taking game that made us live in the atmosphere of the World Cup final and the golden goal.
If Mbappe joins Real Madrid next season surely he will be a deadly duo with Benzema.
Yes really nice performance from spain in the first half but they are mostly young players they lack experience which was showed on the second half with the benzema and mbappe duo both are on fire this season and scored many goals so it was expected from them.

I loved the Karim Benzema goal. It was ecstatic

He is in blistering form, and he is the reason Real Madrid is on top of the La Liga. Happy that Mbappé scored too after so many failed attempts. I would love to see him play in Real Madrid alongside Benzema.

since the match started Benzema had threatened the Spanish goal
in the 6' minute, it was a great opportunity for Benzema to score a goal because he managed to escape from VAR but it ended offside

Congratulations once again on the victory of France. benzema and mbappe what a dangerous combination

They did real good no doubts, putting goals, mandatory goals at the back of the net.
I want to give full credit to France manager, playing a formation that hinders the wingers from operating, that was solid, parvard and Hernandez did really well great job, over lapping and defending.
Great tactics from the French team, having won the World cup, European Championship, and as well the UEFA nation's league.
Congratulations!!

france 0 - 0 spain

France has great players, but they always seem to need a shock to start taking the game seriously, in today's game against Spain they don't have greater possession of the ball, something to some extent understandable because Spain likes it a lot of having greater possession of the ball, but also the france is not winning and that is not good, because spain scores only 1 goal in the last minutes will be the end for france because spain will continue with its style of play of keeping possession of the ball until the end of the game

Congrats buddy I watch this game and have good time because in second half it's excellent and entertaining one I was feeling Spain will win, or they will take this into Extra Time but Mbappé done great goal for win this final, and now they are winners of this year's Nations League cup. Both teams have some very talented and quality young players those will be assets in future for their countries and clubs but In last two matches France was really on top of game, first they have amazing games against Belgium and now against Spain really they are currently true champions of Europe.
France, Spain Italy and Belgium are currently doing complete control in this continent where sometime back we have Germany and Netherlands.

 Grin

france has high quality individual players like Karin benzema and Mbappe who are players who score goals in crucial moments of the games, I already imagined such a scenario before I bet on the france, while Spain likes to keep possession of the ball and there are no players who score goals in crucial moments of the games... following this logic I chose to bet on the france. but spain surprised me

It was a dark night for UEFA, if they can make champion whoever they want why would we watch it? Absolutely ridiculous no call on that clear offside. When he pass the ball Mbappe was offside, it's the end of position, Garcia's touch is irrelevant. UEFA should stop playing with rulebook so much.
They stole another cup from these Spanish youngsters. Spain deserved to win it but they got robbed by referee and VAR.

]
VAR really let me down in today's final as it has crushed Spain's hope of winning or at least getting extra time. I actually asked why the referee didn't do it and it wasn't fun at all for the Spanish fans. It doesn't matter if the goal is legal after he wants to check it, but yes that's his right as a referee. It hurts a lot of course, but that's VAR and sometime it's very useless and detrimental to other team. However, congratulation to France for happily celebrating the 2020-2021 UEFA National League title. This is really an amazing match.

Looks like both of you don't know  how the offside rule works. You might wanna go and revise it before you vent out your frustrations.

It would have been an offside without a touch from the defender, but he did touch the ball, so no offside. Come on guys. Is this the first time you are seeing this kind of situation?

I guess you didn't read carefully, try to read it again. It's against the will of football. Defender had no control of the ball, he was trying to intercept the ball that went to a player who is offside already. So when he threw the pass offside happened. UEFA should rewrite that rule clearer. Otherwise less people watch these tournaments, why would I watch some injustice situation, there is no fun of it.

from what I am watching right now, it seems that the whole match is go g to end 0-0,
Was thinking same, I already felt  the were going into extra time already this is one of the best  UEFA Nations league ever if your predictions came through definitely you deserve some special treat

Karim Benzema scored for France just two minutes after Mikel Oyarzabal scored for Spain. It is now Spain 1 : 1 France. Only 11 minutes to the end of the match, maybe this will end in penalty shoot out
Mikel Oyarzabal goal was a world class finish and it almost made me conclude on Spain lifting the trophy because i wasn't seeing the possibility of France equalizing but Karim Benzema made a world class attempt few meters away from 18-yard post. Then a victory goal by Kylian Mbappe

Spain 1 : 2 France
It's a well deserved victory team work pays

He said he would play BTTS (both teams to score) @ 1.98 odds rn (right now) just before the start of the game. He wasn't talking about France odds. I think that's very nice odds and worth to take the risk.
Thanks for that, I actually prefer to go for over or under 1.5 or 2.5 than both team to score, but it is also a good prediction type in some matches, this kind of game is very unpredictable, the first half is almost gone with no team scored, but let us be hopeful the second half will be different, but Spain has the ball possession, no shot on target yet from France but Spain has one already, but the second half can be different. But if the match continues like this, there is much pressure from Spanish team.

I took the BTTS in this case simply because, I wasn't sure on which team to go for, and I felt it could turned out to be 1-1 draw which was pretty close if on Mbappe had not stood, I usually like the Over 2.5 rather than BTTS too in most case.

The second half was the real deal, much more interesting than the first, and France for the 2nd time in row had to come from being behind to win after series of unimpressive performances.

At least there were some interesting matches to catch this International break, unlike the usual bore fest.

For the people who placed a bet on France, I would like to say "Congrats!".  Grin  Spain's scoring first must be frightening for you but France did the same thing that they did to Belgium in the semi final game and turned the game around. Mbappe had a big role in both of the goals. After France brought the score to 2-1, the rate of excitement increased much more than before. But France were really successful about preventing another goal from Spain and they became victorious by 2-1.

Indeed, that goal was really beautiful, not much chance for Simon to save the ball.

Mbappe goal - how it's not offside? Ok, there is VAR, but nn replay it looked more than ovbious.
It was because the Spanish defender touched the ball right before it got to Mbappé, so they didn't bother replaying.
Oh, that makes sense. Watched replay again and yeah, it's legit goal.
