I totally forgot actually that Armenia won their last group game as underdogs against Georgia and were sitting pretty at 35/10 odds today. I know they're in the middle of conflict (ceasefire now) and that usually does give the footballers some extra motivation to do well and give the people more to shout about. Georgia's always been the one I cheer for in that group, but they've not been doing themselves many favours with so many draws.

But this kind of group's just a big mystery to me. We all thought N Macedonia would top it, didn't we? I thought Georgia would...

oh,oh. what an embarrassment yesterday. in the beginning the german team was still good. but the longer the game lasted the more anxious the german players became.
I think jogi löw should slowly retire . germany needs fresh blood on the trainer ( coach )  position  Grin

or >>> the german players were afraid of the corona virus. that's why they were so far away from the spanish players   Wink

Half a dozen Spanish goals made it look like Germany was learning to play football. Seeing possession of the ball and their shots are very far apart, Spain is very dominant. It seems like Joachim Loew wants to give a new feel by calling some new players. Jonathan Tah, Mahmoud Dahoud and Antonio Rudiger of the three names, only Jonathan Tah who entered to replace Niklas Sule. Jonathan Tah's substitution looked in vain because in the second half they again conceded three goals. It seems like Joachim Loew is too insistent on calling the three players who don't get enough playing time at the club. I think there are many other players who are even better and that can make for better player choices.

I had a pretty nice bet yesterday even though Malta and Faroe didn't do me the favor by scoring one more...

nice one!
idk why i still haven't tried a multi with just Asian Total selections...Huh, you just gave me a few ideas now, i might get into accas again lol  Grin

but not today, i'm 4/4 wins in the last few days with single tickets, and i'll stay the course and go with two more singles: Belgium Over 1.5 goals, and Poland - Netherlands - BTTS

i'm also expecting a lot of goals today, 4 teams have the chance to qualify to the next phase, a win for either means going to the Final Four, surely they'll their hearts out today

They sort of had a result like this incoming. Maybe it is even better for Germany to lose like this to stop hiding the fact that they are playing awful defense. Their attack usually does enough to hide the problems under the rug but this time that did not work. Now they will have to make some hard decision and change something, maybe even finally let Ter Stegen be a first keeper.

You did call the loss I remember. I always do feel like a big loss like this helps to wake people up. Problem with teams that have obvious failings is that when they continue to win, papers over cracks and distracts from the real big work that needs to be done. Think we've all agreed titles and trophies are built on rock solid defences. Agree with hard decisions. I personally felt Neuer already lost his spot in the last international tourney and when he was especially awful 2 years ago -- but the faithful stuck with him.

Honestly Spain took me by surprise with a big 6-0 win, because it was also a young player who even scored a hattrick. I thought Spain would not be able to win or maybe win but with a low score playing only young players and with that, I bet under, Lol. Yesterday's game had a lot of goals, would that apply to today's match because like the Poland - Netherlands match I wasn't sure the Netherlands would easily win the game so I bet on AHC - Poland (1).

I think you are exaggerating. Spain drew against the Netherlands in the friendly game, lost against the Ukrainian in the Nations League, won Switzerland but only scored 1 goal in the Nations League and drew against Portugal in the friendly game. Yesterday's game was just bad luck for Germany. are things that happen

Do you think a random team can put 6 against Germany? There isn't many 6 conceded goals in German history. I wouldn't explain it for "bad luck" or something similar.
Spanish youngsters showed their potential, if/when they play like this every game they can dominate tournaments. That was my point on that post.

What a shame for Germany yesterday night. You might say that no one takes the Nations League seriously but a team like Germany rarely has been defeated with so many goals difference.I knew Spain would give it all to win yesterday but I never expect a team like Germany to concede 6 goals in a game.
A hard day for Germany, I hope it won't crush the team's confidence. Whatever hppened we've seen two face of Manuel Neuer, against Spain he was helpless for Germany. You can't be lucky every time he's still the best so far. Because of one defeat you can't change the fact that Neur is GOAT Keeper of all time.

Portugal 3 - 2 croatia

this was a result that surprised me, the croatia surprised me just when i thought portugal would win without conceding many goals

It surprised us Croatians as well Grin
We basically scored 2 really cheap goals, Portugal should not have conceded these. The 1st one was a backpass to Kovačić who tapped it in while surrounded by 3 Portuguese players and the 2nd one was again Kovačić from outside of the box with 10 men.

Eventually we were really unlucky to concede because the 3rd Portuguese goal was a gift by our defence, especially GK Livaković.

France won so Sweden got relegated, but this was still a really bad series of results for us. Too soon after finishing 2nd in the World cup.

Sweden and Croatia had their own competition in this competition, who will lose by a smaller margin in matches against France and Portugal?  Grin
Personally, I am glad that this torture and loss of reputation for Croatia is finally over.
Dalic urgently needs to make some changes in the team because what Croatia has shown so far has been very bad, catastrophic.

There are many unclear moments in the German team now, the conflict between top players and the coach shows the situation as a result. Spain has always been a strong team but already demanded an infusion of new players.
But for me the French national team is now the favorite among European teams, the selection of players is very strong and good teamwork.

No objection, French side is great too. I wonder if any of them dominate tournaments.
Belgium had a great generation but they failed to win big tournaments. Spain, Germany and France are always at the top, you can add Italy too here. England has maybe the best national league but their national team has no achievement, which is very ironic.

Well, roles are changed again between Spain and Germany. New generation of Spain is quite good, if not better than 2008-12 generation. They were the most dominant generation ever undoubtedly.
Torres, Oyarzabal, Rodri, Asensio and other young talents showed the world that they are coming to takeover the football scene. This is the first step and a preview for us to many trophies they will get in the future.

"an all time Löw" for the bundesteam Cheesy

It would have been even better if it was something more meaningful than the Nations League, but still...quite embarrassing result for a team like Germany.

I had a little something going on for this game, didn't expect to be that easy, but i will take it, Ferran Torres absolutely killing it tonight!

Very nice bet and well done! I agree with you, even for a Nations League game with not very meaningful competition, this was a super embarassing defeat that you cannot defend. The lineup was strong enough to win the game, it does not matter. If they say they had nothing to fight for, then they admit they do not have a good mentality. Totally unexpected, but again a team shows Germany they cannot just sit on their thrones and expect everybody to let them win.

Ferran Torres is going to be one of the very best players in the world Smiley
Lol, Pep and every City fan will surely want that, on a more serious note, Ferran is good player, he played well in all City's UCL games thus far, even when he was played in an unfamiliar number 9 role, scoring in all the games, he is yet to replicate that form in the epl, but it's only a matter of time I'm sure. It's great to see Luiz Enrique put trust in him by starting him even in such a big game, and he truly delivered. Another city player, Rodri was also on the score sheet, pep will be happy, and hope his boys will put in that same level against spurs in the weekend.

Germany need to go back to the drawing board, I knew they'll lose to Spain, but definitely not with that scoreline, Spain dominated every aspect of the game, Low has work to do, and I'm sure big changes will be made in their next matches.

Spain decided to avenge for Barcelona, meantime the joy travels to Brazil as well.
That's what I meant actually  Wink
Bayern humiliated Barcelona while Germany made Brazil players looks dump 2 years ago then this avenge was kind of most wanted for their supporters. Meanwhile, I feel sad for Germany players!

I bet on Spain, they drew - Loss (ML)
I bet against Spain, they won - Loss (ML)
I gotta leave them be next time I'm betting Grin

Regardless of my loss, that was an emphatic win for them. I would have understand the scoreline if this is the same Spain "Golden Era" team that won Euro and Fifa b2b and it's not like Germany is still in the process of rebuilding.

Now I just have to wait for the Poland vs. Netherlands as it's one of the three matches I parlayed (2 out of 3 so far). My bet is on Netherlands to win.

X posting
~
It doesn't matter because most importantly you do it comfortably even though it takes mentality and patience to bet the parlay, because you put the Netherlands in the parlay whereas it is the match for the next day. Honestly, I often bet on parlays but wouldn't be comfortable making parlay bets but one of the matches was not played on the same day.
I honestly didn't even notice the date when I added them Grin
