Kamaru usman vs leon edwards is what everyone is looking for on the UFC next card i think most people agree that usman is a huge favourite in my opinion for edwards to beat him he must be the best version of himself, usman has beatean most of the top guys on the welterweight division.
Their last fight was too old since 2015, now it's already 7 years but I doubt there's will be a different result to be honest. Usman already fought the number 2 fighter in UFC welterweight rankings for 2 times and successfully defended his belt for 5 times. I'd say most of each weight division had a long gap power between the champion and the rest challenger, it even take 3 or 4 times fights with the same challenger.

Anyway there's a woman fight between Wu Yanan vs Lucie Pudilova, with the stunning Pudilova I hope she can win the fight.

A lot of amazing fights pretty much I love to see
Sure do. That Aldo fight is also something to look forward to. Number 2 vs Number 3.
Well actually all the Main events fight is noteworthy to watch and I think this is a chance for Paulo Costa if he can beat a guy from a higher division now that he is 186 to 205 lb this is more of a test for Costa but I think Luke Rockhold is more of a simple entry for Costa, this is not a big of a threat to him in my opinion, but I could also say the same for Paulo Costa after moving him to the Light Heavyweight division I don't really know what he feels or if he's even motivated to fight anymore, but I will surely look upon this deep in details first,

And right now I am preparing my pick for the upcoming Dana White's Contender Series 1st, I will surely post my pick and my bet if it's profitable to bet,
"More muscles, less fat." That's the last I heard from him and he looks great. I think the weight issue won't be a problem anymore unlike what happened with his last fight that ended in Light Heavyweight because of his weight problem. "Too much red wine." Yeah, he blamed the wine. Grin
He is motivated saying "It's just my prime time. God is Great."
https://sports.yahoo.com/more-muscles-less-fat-paulo-000057706.html
Let's see if he can do something to win and be back on the map.

That was one of the fight that makes you watch the whole time waiting whoever falls the ground from round 1 to 3. Yoel just have the chin.

If Costa can still last 3 rounds of constant trading against Rockhold, he may be able to win and break 3rd loss. Took  him so long to come back, he seem to have lost interest in a rematch against Izzy where he use to be a good contender.

Pretty much from that fight I really want Romero to win and I thought Romero could win, but surely a judge didn't give Costa a minus point from that unwanted knee to the crotch, but still, Paulo Costa was really lucky for having so much rest when he hit Yoel's crotch because COsta could gas out during the fight,

Now I want to discuss the Contender Series that is upcoming this Tuesday,

Dana White's Contender Series 2022: Week 4

Costa vs Romero. It was a very tight and fast paced fight. The physical endurance of both fighters was top notch. The calm amidst the chaos gave off an air of cool and eerie at times. Costa put a lot of pressure on his opponent in the fight. He was almost like a warrior. Costa's fights have always been action packed. To be honest, i didn't expect it to be such a good fight when the fight started. I didn't think there was anyone to stop Romero's double leg attempt but until i found out Costa was crazy. It was one of the best fights i've ever seen.

I think that fight was 3 years ago, and it was on UFC 241 Cormier VS Miocic 2, I think you have seen a video from youtube that says Paulo Costa vs Yoel Romero | FREE FIGHT | UFC 278 it got a wrong title because UFC 278 is still not happening and it will be on August 20, 2022, with the main event of Usman vs. Edwards 2 and Paulo Costa will be facing Luke Rockhold in the Light Heavyweight division but surely Paul Costa back then was in his Elite form back then, pretty much he is full of himself and because he hits Romero at first with a shot that drops Romero he becomes full of himself and attacked Romero without even thinking, then Yoel Romero strikes back with a strike that drops Costa aswell, that was just on the 1st round but the fight was an explosion, the fight was a war and pretty much both fighters are exchanging their shots Then a shot to the groin by Costa to Romero, pretty much this fight was really enjoyable to watch because of their strike exchange, and I watched it again, but again it was really an old one that is on 2019,

Vera sat Cruz down with a strike in the first round and kinda wobbled Cruz again at the second round I think.  Vera is starting to be a problem at 135.  He looks like he has improved a bit after his loss to Aldo.  I think he should get the winner of Aldo vs Dvalishvili then a title shot if Vera wins.

It was Onama all day in the first but then the guy was fatigued come R2 and R3.  It was a bad look.  I'm not touching Onama from a betting perspective anymore and I'll put him low in my lottery tickets.  Same with Osbourne.

I was for Vera since the day he beat the crap out against Sean O'Malley that kick to the calf of O'Malley is not a fluke it was set up well by Marlon Vera, In terms of striking Chito Vera is really dangerous the combination of Punches, and that kicks awesome kicks he is really something and he's going to be a threat on the Bantamweight division that is for sure, I want to see a rematch between him and Jose Aldo that is for sure,

I am cutting ties with David Onama aswell, I will surely never setting my bet on him ever again,

We are having another Dana White Contender series this Tuesday, August 16, pretty I want to cover this up, and at first, I really don't want to watch a contender series but after watching the recent one I was mind blown and pretty much there is a new fighting Kitty to look for and her name was Hailey Breanne Cowan I wish she can make it to the UFC but her opponent seems pretty much tough Cláudia Leite really has the build and I am scared for Cowan,

Here is the result for my picks on the UFC Fight Night: Vera vs. Cruz

Marlon Vera VS Dominick Cruz ROUND 4 KO/TKO - WIN

Those kicks from Marlon Vera have proven lethal, for Dominick Cruz, well Marlon Vera has a tendency of starting the fight at a slow pace, and see all of his opponent's movements better as we can see in the 1st round, Vera just landed I think pretty much low strike on the 1st round but comes the 2nd and 3rd round and everything is different Vera is pretty much in control of the fight and Cruz even go with the takedown but Vera's takedown defense is just superb and not letting Cruz do what he wants, and in the round 4 everything is just letting Cruz set into a trap Chito have set up those punches to deliver a devastating Kick to Dominick Cruz head that knocks him down,

David Onama VS Nate Landwehr ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

Well, I think this is one of the best fights it was really a war watching this fight Onama is really close and the fight was really close, but Landwehr was really calm in all shots David Onama has thrown, it is just Nate Landwehr has capitalized with his takedowns that David Onama's was not proving anything anymore, it was really a close fight and I can not argue with the results so I am just moving on,

Cruz was lights out but he did something that I didn't expect. He started aggressively and gave Vera a hard time in the early rounds.
But just one big shot was needed and it's all over. Good game.
I was rooting for Dominick Cruz to win the fight because of his experience but with age your chin will be weak and one shot was more than enough to seal the fight, with all the injures he sustained in his career Dominick Cruz needs to retire and focus on commentary which he is doing great.

Another upset was Nate Landwehr winning the fight against the heavy favorite David Onama, seen many big bets being waged on him but he lost by decision and a good fight plan by Nate.

Two strange decisions considering the total strikes landed and significant strikes landed were Cynthia Calvillo Vs Nina Nunes and Angela Hill Vs Lupita Godinez. Need to watch these two fights once more.

^  I have my lottery ticket posted a couple pages back.  Follow at your own risk.  Lol.

Anyway..  About Vera vs Cruz, I'm back and forth between the two but I eventually picked Vera for my lottery ticket.  Yeah sure Cruz could out fox Vera like he did vs Kenney and Munhoz.  But if you watch those matches, Cruz was knocked down a couple of times in both match ups.  I don't think Cruz is standing up if Vera gets his chin.
Thank you, bro.
This was actually the one that closed my decision to bet for Vera before it started. It seems like all the predictions were correct even outside this forum.
It's just that, I doubted and looked for more analysis to increase the chance to win.

Pretty much I was late on my posting because I was too busy with some things that need to be fixed, but here are my picks for today's fight

Marlon Vera VS Dominick Cruz

Stake odds for this fight are 1.44 for Vera while 2.80 for Cruz, I am very excited about seeing how good Marlon Vera is now, this could sound very one-sided but that is what I think for me I think what a young Vera has achieved now is pretty much way over the top than What Dominick Cruz has attained at a young age, but because of Cruz injury on the past this is pretty much why I am in favor with Vera, I surely don't underestimate Dominick Cruz but the victory all points to Marlon Vera, for me with that kind of winning record and how he wins it pretty much for me Vera has the advantage, and from exchanging punches from Jose Aldo, now Vera is adopting to Aldo's striking for me Aldo has pretty much had some effect on fighters with his striking, and a loss to Jose Aldo is a good experience to young Chito Vera, so for me, this is a Chito Vera win,

David Onama VS Nate Landwehr

Stake odds for this fight are 3.80 for Landwehr while 1.29 for Onama, for this fight I am pretty much concerned about Landwehr because David Onama has a pretty excellent stand-up this striking is phenomenal, he can surely punch while forwarding, and he can punch while he is backing out, maybe because of that reach advantage David Onama has and he can also use his height advantage on Landwehr, because of this I really don't see Nate Landwehr winning against Onama, so my pick will be David Onama,

Priscila Cachoeira VS Ariane Lipski ROUND 1 KO/TKO - LOST

Pretty much I am Saddened by the loss of a fighting Kitten Cachoeira is really a monster but I have noticed that Lipski doesn't move her head that much for Priscila Cachoeira to easily hit that, and so that is that in only one round the beautiful Ariane Lipski has fallen with Cachoieira's power punches, but still sportsmanship like a hug for Priscila Cachoeira for Ariane Lipski,

Ceremonial Weigh-Ins and face to face finished and I have to say that that Devin Clark vs Azamat Murzakanov could be one of the more interesting fights on this card.
I am hoping main event wont be one more boring five round fight, but I placed my bet on decision win on whoever wins.

Any predictions on the fight later at 7:00 PM for Eastern Time and tomorrow morning for GMT +8?
Vera vs Cruz - main card.
The articles I have read are all predicting the side of Vera to win because of the 3 win streak ride. The strategy would be to wear Cruz out like Vera always do with his other opponents.
But I have doubts because I also read some comments about Cruz's IQ that Vera should be careful about, just like how he won his last fight with Pedro Munhoz. If the battle will be lengthy there's a chance Cruz could win it.

But as a single bet for Vera, it's better to bet it live if you have access to a book that has it.  Live bet Vera after R1 as he's a slow starter.  Cruz will win R1 for sure.  And as a hedge you could use Cruz via decision.  You could also make a couple of small bets for Vera win R4 and R5...  Check the odds, those were over 20.00 the last time I checked.  The under 4.5 looks good too if you're for Vera.

As much as I'd love to see Khabib back in the cage, he made a promise to his mother, and he seems like the type of guy that'll keep that promise. to win.
Not a chance Khabib is coming back in pro mma fighting, but it is possible to see him in some exhibition fight with some boxer, for charity cause.
Everyone would love to see him back, I know he is still active training with other fighters from his team, and they are quickly going up for title in their categories.

Guys watch this video Dana White Replies to questions from fans posted on internet.
He is big time gambler and many casinos don't allow him to play anymore, Jake Paul was again mentioned and he replied.

Speaking about judges:

I know this is just a joke, but If Mario would be a ref in that fight, then there are chances that it is really is going to be Nates last fight Cheesy

This is Dana White in his finest tricking us into getting at Nate Diaz for good because Mario Yamazaki could stop the fight early or stop the fight too much lately, that Nate Diaz could get multiple injuries, from a ground and pound of Chimaev, but yeah this is just Dana White trolling us, Mario Yamazaki is the worst Referee there is,

I would say that lightweight is the most exciting to watch. Current lightweight roster is full of surprises. Lots of fighters deserve to be champions, lots of them can achieve that. Despite middleweight (but things can change in UFC 281) and featherweight or flyweight. Because there are 2-4 fighters that get title fights and all others (we are expecting Figueiredo vs Moreno 4, and doubt that anyone can bet Volkanovski right now; doubt someone will be interested in watching Volkanovski vs Hollaway 4).

I could say the same after Charles Oliveira got stripped of his belt, and because of this we got an upcoming fight of Islam Makhachev VS Charles Oliveira on the UFC 280, it was really an exciting match and pretty much between the two back then I was an Islam Makhachev fan, but when I have seen that Charles Oliveira is a humble person, and can surely be leaned and have some positioning on his grappling, I am torn between the two, but I will surely have my conclusion in no time,

The UFC is starting to become a very interesting lightweight. Yes, you know, Islam Makhahev and Charles Oliveria were paired for the title challenge in the ufc 280 main card. Oliveria accepted this fight anyway, it would be better for Makhachev to build this match. If Oliveria beats Islam, the Khabib match may come up. Oliveria will not refuse in this fight. He has the confidence that he can fight anyone in the lightweight division right now. On the other hand, Fiziev comes to the top with his victories, Mc Gregor gets well, he will come to the ring again, it is not clear who he will go with, a lot of names are being talked about.
As much as I'd love to see Khabib back in the cage, he made a promise to his mother, and he seems like the type of guy that'll keep that promise. Losing his father was unfortunate, especially since that's the major contributing factor to why he no longer fights, and I'm a little gutted as I never really got to see his earlier fights. I believe the first fight I saw was with him, and Conor (I think). Justin was after Conor, right?

I'm going with Charles on that fight though. I can't pass up that man, too many times I've doubted him, and he ends up delivering. So, I'll be putting a cheeky little bet on him to win.

WOW! we got a slightly same story I also have known Khabib on the Connor McGregor fight and haven't known him in his early career but as we now have the internet it is possible now to rewatch most of his fights easily, and I also missed Khabib Nurmagomedov inside the octagon, so much I want to see him fight again, but I guess he is doing fine, and a promise really is a promise that I think he will not break,

And he's kinda fat now.  So if ever he's coming back, he'll be fighting at 170.  But I think it's safe to say he's def not coming back.  He's training his cousins now, with Makhachev as his best shot to follow in his foot steps and get a title.

Anyway, lots of new faces itt...  I'm not sure if you guys really like the UFC or you're just here for your sigs but try watching a couple of events.  You'll love it.  And why not drop a little action in some of the match ups while you're at it.  You could bet for as little as 1 USD in your favorite book.  Parlays are good for fun.

So...  Who you guys got between Vera and Cruz?  I got my lottery tickets set on Vera but in my mind I'm still back and forth.  Cruz could out fox Vera here.  Dunno.
