if I make an investment, I might start by choosing an altcoin that has a low price, but have a high trading volume, and also tries to compare the altcoin if you have the choice, it's time to choose.

How to judge the value of Altcoin is worth investing?

I see many points already, one thing for sure, follow the hype, many altcoins that have a great pump will almost identical, hype, cult-like followers and so on. The mainstream idea about this was, "are mainstream crypto investor will buy something like this?" see xrp as an example.
They have so much hype about replacing a bank.
An idea who many their followers believe, in the end, it will end up in a pump.

Use case, use case, use case. The primary consideration is the proposed usecase. The project should be for mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, the use case  should be aimed for that objective. The rest of the factors for the value of an altcoin depends already on the public demand for it, even if it's just speculative.

Altcoins are now very profitable to buy because they are very cheap and growth is inevitable.  Because I think that it is the top Altcoins who can be trusted now worth investing in them.
For the highest altcoin, maybe it is an asset that we should have for investment and must be in our portfolio. but sometimes there are a number of altcoins above that have a slower market movement than other altcoins that might be at a lower level.

How to judge the value of Altcoin is worth investing?
I judge based on sales and purchases in the exchange, if the potential is fulfilled I think it can be used as an option for investment. the most important thing is how the coin can get a high price and give profit.
but if you want to invest in altcoin in an ICO or IEO, try a more accurate analysis of how the process works like a roadmap, whitepaper and tokensale. this can affect our choices

Most of the value is purely speculation, very few of these so called altcoins have any real adoption.  And to make matters worse exchanges are porting fake volume numbers to make these coins look more liquid than they really are.  The safest move has always been to put most of your crypto funds into bitcoin.

I usually try to look at the following: a) whitepaper - is there something new, some new crypto feature they try to develop, a new angle on existing problem or it is just a copy paste of other whitepapers, b) team members - are they distinguished members of the crypto developers community or anonymouses, c) hype - have they managed to generate hype already, d) general look and feel of their website - does it look like many other website of similar content.

Yes, there are common ways that one should look into a project in order to determine if it has a good potential to make it into the market. Aside from these, I also visit good reviews of the project to see how some analysts see the platform and if they think that it has a good and bright future ahead. Though we have to understand that nothing is really guaranteed here as some project and team members are expert in hiding what they lack and they can use hypes to prop up the project. The most important thing is that we are doing the due diligence compared to just guessing.

It would be impossible to judge the coins value,
But if you really want to know if they are worth it then do some research about them if their team is legit or just another scam,
If you think that they are going to survive for a long term because their project have some back ups then it is worth it.
Look for their white paper,see if they are really following their road map,look at their partnership.

Nothing is impossible in my opinion, seeing a whitepaper and seeing a team in my opinion can't be switched on now, because many shitcoin have the best whitepaper and team but can't grow.

I think people are now starting to focus on the technology adopted by the altcoin, and when we see coins like that, it's good to buy and see a few years later, boom.

I think is better to do some research and also after we can try to invest on old altcoins with some history because is safer to invest on them because they give profit on past and i think this will happen again.

How to judge the value of Altcoin is worth investing?

I would say there is no way to make it sure . No matter how good project is , it still have really big chance to fail . I did invest in few ICO's that i though have really good potential become big , team , announcements , updates and so on made me do that decision . But if i look at current value of them , then its pretty sad . Usually developers of project is pretty active at ICO stage , but when it ends , then they change the whitepaper and tells investors that you are not investor , but token buyer =] Funny , isnt it ?

At least we can see it in each of its websites and market capitalization. There are many altcoins that will make us confused to analyze it, because it is not enough if we only look at the graph. That's my experience when I first wanted to invest in an altcoin. My advice is to choose the top 10 altcoins on Coinmarketcap. And please observe your way.

The project idea, team member capacity and the community behind it. Always do the most research on team and the project idea. If both of these are good, it worth to invest into altcoin. Otherwise, don't invest a single buck on them.

Check the project and which product that the project will produce. A good project will have a good altcoin with a good price. Top 10 altcoins on coinmarketcap is a good one to invest imo. I recommend top 10 altcoins like ethereum, xcm, bitcoin cash and litecoin to invest.

First of all, I look at the technical performance of chart (TA). If I like the long setup, I study the fundamental project data (FA). These are team activity after the end of the ICO, success in promoting a roadmap, and the like.

It's very important the team behind any project, the innovation they are bringing and how they have been fulfilling it, and their response to their community members, and the size of their community, and of course the exchange they are listed and trading volume. All these are important not to buy into a shitty project and end up calling everything a scam.

altcoin evaluation is quite hard, and I would recommend you to pay attention to the following:

1) first of all, pay close attention to the uniqueness of the product and existing competitors on the market; if the product is not unique, find out what novelties it bring, or does it bring any advantages over existing products;
2) the development and marketing department; even the best products will remain unnoticed without due attention;
3) number of coins in circulation, coin usage (will users be interested in using this altcoin?)
4) exchanges (big or small, one or a few exchanges, ICO or IEO), team activity.

Also, evaluate the current market state of altcoins, it's like a fertile soil for growth.

What is worth investing for me actually has to follow whatever is in the target about altcoin, so that we can easily get the results or values that have always been pursued by some parties or all parties who want to pursue the value that is in altcoin
