A world without Bitcoin of course would be possible. Because there are really good candidates to fill its place right now in the market. But if you say like "without cryptocurrencies", I can't even think of it.  Grin  We could have had even no idea about digital currencies right now.

Yes mate, Now the technology is adopt to digitalizing. For payments and transitions it is very is to if we use a digital payment system. For that we must think about crypto currency. In crypto, Bitcoin is running a major role. So why we think without bitcoin?

The world would still remained world even withoutbitcoin like in the past, long before bank is established or bitcoin was created people trade their product in many ways, now that we ahve all this new technology which I believe is helpful and make our life easier we no longer lnow how to live without them, because we already adapted their system so bitcoin changed our way of thinking of banking, trading, transacting and all that.

But this is about global trade and for that we are dependent on a financial infrastructure that allows for cross boarder transactions with low friction and low costs. Bitcoin can't achieve that yet, but once it does banks have to innovate a lot. They know that and that is why they played for time and played Bitcoin down as good as they could.

What do you think about this? For me it is tedious. Bitcoin has completely changed the life of. I have become rich when Bitcoin appears. My work is always busy. I find any way to earn potential from Bitcoin. You see Bitcoin has changed the world currency market. Many countries watching Bitcoin are the main currency of the country.

If you look at it from that angle, like looking at individual fates it is evident that Bitcoin changed some lives. The OP probably wants to know if there would be a difference in the (international political) economy and whether banks would behave even worse. Issues like that. I think Bitcoin definitely put some pressure on the existing systems. They all refrain from innovation because it is too expensive but now they have no choice but to innovate in order to keep pace with digital money as good as possible.

in my opinion, a world without bitcoin would be normal, because we too have experienced it before, nothing even happens if bitcoin doesn't exist, it's just the problem, now the average person is too dependent on bitcoin, so as if he feels that without bitcoin they can't live, even though how our ancestors used to be, they never knew and used what bitcoin was. but they live.

If the option of crypto currency wasn't invented, people will still be living and doing just fine with the traditional fiat. It is only that crypto currency (bitcoin and altcoins) have provided another option outside the traditional system to get money across to someone, this doesn't make fiat abandoned. Even with bitcoin, people still consider it as an investment option rather than a currency for day to day transaction.
So yes, without bitcoin, the world will still be alright and normal.
This really explains the versatility of bitcoin adoption into the society, so many might have felt cryptocurrencies is only a kind of digital currency but rather it serves as a multipurpose assets, the usage is versatile and that's why it can't be stopped by any government of any kind.

The world without bitcoin is the same as before. Banking system will become more and more significance in the life of the people and there is no competitors. Also, without bitcoin now that we are currently undergoing financial crisis and pandemic is really difficult because this time bitcoin is a great help for everyone who are using it.
I am.a strong supporter of Bitcoin and will always be but to be frank, how many of us actually uses Bitcoin for our day to day transactions in our regular grocery stores? I want to believe most people here are in Bitcoin for the trade for profits whether long term or short term and this is the most important aspect of Bitcoin to most and not that Bitcoin has brought good competition to Banks as most will like to portray.
In the world without Bitcoin, we wouldn't have bothered because we wouldn't know what Bitcoin is, like when we really didn't know what bitcoin is before and everything was normal.

What do you think the world will be today without Bitcoin?
For those people who are familiar with Bitcoin, who cannot imagine life without Bitcoin, this will certainly be a disaster. And for those people who are not familiar with bitcoin, they absolutely do not care. And there are many more such people in the world. I will even say that there are still many places in the world where there is no normal Internet.

Wel, let's see. If you are going to ask me then I would say that my answer to this question would be something like a trip down memory lane. Bitcoin was invented I think in 2009. So I guess the answer to that question is that the world without Bitcoin is the year 2008. Sure we have vouchers and store coupons and bonuses given by companies but those are still backed by fiat currency from the company. So there is no digital asset that we would be investing to.

Hello everybody. I'm not very good at imagining a world without Bitcoin, but I think it's worth remembering the time when I didn't hear about cryptocurrency at all and everything will work out. It's just that now and so most people remain in the dark. The only thing I can admit is that my life would not be complete without Bitcoin, but we live, move on, acquire new skills, new knowledge, including knowledge about cryptocurrency, and I am glad that there is Bitcoin in my life.

For those who are not attached to this venue of investment, they are moving forward and not being bothered  to how life may it be without bitcoin, but it's different from those who support this chain since they learn about it, they simply can't imagine how the world will rotate on them without this investment currency.

Different people do have their own views regarding to this question, more on how you believe and trust this system.

The world without Bitcoin would be a world where fiat systems would still be without any competition whatsoever. That is not too bothering for people in rich countries with stable economies, but we have seen what happens with Bitcoin volume in countries like Venezuela when inflation gets out of control.
I do not know how bitcoin looks like in Venezula. I thought everything was banned and only the government has the right to maintain the monetary system, which is fiat. Though, I believe the world would be the same if bitcoin did not exist

You obviously misunderstood Bitcoin. You can't ban Bitcoin like you can't make it disappear or keep people from using it. The more the people are in need for an alternative currency is a country like Venezuela, the more they are prone to use and trade BTC. BTC was even traded with a mark up in Venezuela when shit hit the fan. I think they paid 30% over global market price. China banned Bitcoin a gazillion times and every single time trading volume skyrocketed over there.

Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards). People would be subject to banks' desires without a chance for freedom. A cashless society would be only a dream, without innovations in the FinTech space. Gold would still be an option, but not everyone will be able to access it. The unbanked people will be forced to deal with banks in order to participate in the mainstream economy. A lot of challenges and hurdles would arise without a decentralized form of currency for the enjoyment of all.

What do you think the world will be today without Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
We all know that the birth of Bitcoin is a great invention that makes sense for the technology age. Digital currency was born to overcome the world's barriers. Currently, digital money is developing in the direction of exploiting the advantages and advantages of blockchain technology - blockchain (such as low transaction costs, high security, convenience, fast...) rather than in the direction of using digital currency as a real currency. If the world did not have Bitcoin, the world would not be advanced and modern.

Indeed, it hasn't had a big impact because there are alternative payment methods that are more consistent as you mentioned, but in this 21st era we need privacy for the transactions we do in the digital world, I don't mean to make illegal transactions such as buying weapons or drugs, but there are sometimes we need a really simple payment method and use a relatively cheaper fee.

Cryptocurrency opens the door to transactions between businesses around the world more easily and quickly. Call it Litecoin, we know that Litecoin is not Bitcoin, but the existence of Bitcoin led to the emergence of Litecoin. With Litecoin I can make payments to several merchants with zero fees and make transactions in seconds.

It's more than just convenient, it's also really easy and simple. This means that the existence of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency really helps encourage our economy to increase even more.

If there is no Bitcoin, I am not here and I am not discussing it with you here.

Without Bitcoin we wouldn't had the possibility to send money across borders at a fraction of the cost. Despite current high fees and slow transaction processing times, Bitcoin is still better than a wire transfer. Altcoins like Litecoin and Dogecoin are even much better than Bitcoin in this regard, making them extremely versatile for day-to-day payments. I couldn't imagine how you'd live without Bitcoin, being subject to the rules of central banks and governments alike.

Of course, most people still haven't heard about Bitcoin up to this date. They're living their lives as usual with Fiat by their side. But they'll be searching for an "exit route" once central banks collapse altogether with the ever-rising inflation rates. If Bitcoin didn't exist, there wouldn't be a way for people to protect themselves from a global economic collapse. Kudos to Satoshi Nakamoto for making Bitcoin a reality back in 2009. It's a decade later, and Bitcoin is still going strong as sound money for the whole world to enjoy. Who knows how far Bitcoin will go the more popular it becomes in the mainstream world? Just my thoughts Grin
