For the most part, people have taken it for granted that we are living in a digital currency environment, which is why I get so irritated with Bitcoin critics who mock it for what it is: a great conceptual and philosophical advancement that should be embraced for what it is rather than for what people imagine it to be.

That said, the demand for Blockchain is moving the idea forward, as evidenced by its recent price rise and proliferation of technology companies that are creating their own versions of this digital currency, with varying degrees of adoption. It is still in a very early stage, but as Bitcoin continues to evolve, we will witness more and more companies taking a closer look at the possibilities of Blockchain. The developing applications for this technology are both currently in the concept stage and likely to play a key role in industries around the globe in the near future.

And if Bitcoin ceases to exist in its present version in the future, it will likely create a lasting legacy. People have written entire books, novels, song lyrics, etc., on Blockchain and it seems all the buzz in tech circles these days is about building "blockchain versions".

Bitcoin made a lot of millionaires, it opens opportunities to those who don’t have access to banks and stock market. Me as an example, before I am very eager to learn about the stock market on how to buy and sell not until I found out about Bitcoin that teaches me and I acquire a lot of useful experiences.
Learning bitcoin should not be as a blockage for you if, you have something for stock market, be attentive to both bitcoin and stock market the knowledge from both is an add-ons for you, and they might be similarities in trading, so the experience knowledge of both is of substance, I think the world is great with bitcoin, as it great with stock, forex and more.

Lots of them like money in tangible form.
For now, fiat is more widely used, but don't forget that digital money has begun to be legalized for buying and selling in several countries. Remember what just happened, the Tesla Boss received a payment via BTC for his electric car, isn't this progress? For now there may be regulatory differences that hinder the development of Bitcoin and cryptocurency. But in the future I am sure the world community will recognize it and can be used as a legal transaction tool like current Fiat. I'm sure this will happen and hopefully I can still see that.

Not many people in the world use Bitcoin, meaning Bitcoin is still a minority today. So if the world without the presence of Bitcoin can still run well
and there are no problems. If it is for me and the crypto community without the presence of Bitcoin, of course there will be a significant difference.
Because I could experience an increase in the economy, one of the biggest factors after getting to know Bitcoin.
- Minority is just a story a few years ago, bitcoin right now is a story discussed by so many people of different classes and countries, it can be said that bitcoin has blended into this real life, a lot of people have invested in mining equipment and opened up farms, the proof is that the equipment has become very expensive, the demand is huge while the product is very scarce. Without bitcoin, the economy will suffer a lot, especially those who have been attached to bitcoin as long as we are, Bitcoin is the way to make huge profits, except for a fixed income each month

I think one of the expected scenario if bitcoin aren't existing is that many people are not gonna able to achieve their earnings and profits. People would definitely not gonna have some extra income in their life. And I would think that the other coin might not exist in first place. The rate of being poor would rise and might be a reason for starveness. Many investors and different sectors might not that have some big earnings and profits. I think market of digital money isn't gonna be a big thing. Many people would need to work for earnings and their life would be that hard and  not as simple as the life with bitcoin.

Boring . There will be no Bitcoin casinos if no btc ,  there will be no btc trading  , no small activities to do to earn a btc to make us company and most of all no major breakthrough in the online space and business section.

Only the banks are going to be happy because they think they control All of us but luckily they are unlucky to have that ambition . It's been a long time since we follow thier lead and be like a slave to them but time has come to end that and live freely with no strings attached

In other words, there will be no financial freedom. Without Bitcoin, we'll be forced to participate in the current monetary system powered by central banks and governments alike. There will be no way to conduct transactions without any middleman whatsoever. The unbanked people will remain unbanked, bringing financial inclusion to a select few people in the mainstream world. While Gold may be considered by many as an "escape route" from the current monetary system, it's not the perfect solution to achieve equity and fairness. It is said that Gold can be easily confiscated by the government and manipulated to their own desire. That's not the case with Bitcoin, making it a better alternative to Gold for true financial freedom.

Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto, people can take control of their financial future. Bitcoin has set the standard of financial sovereignty, paving the way for a truly decentralized economy in the not-so-distant future. Now with crypto/Blockchain tech in play, a new era in digital payments ushers like never before. Central banks and governments will launch their own digital currencies to stay in the lead, but Bitcoin will stand the test of time because of its decentralized and censorship-resistant design. People will have the choice from one type of currency to another. Whereas digital Fiat will mark the end of privacy, decentralized cryptocurrencies will prove to be all of the contrary. Who knows what the future holds for Bitcoin as it continues to grow in mainstream adoption? Just my opinion Smiley

I think still larger part of populace individuals unconscious almost bitcoin, so it's like a world without bitcoin. We are favored to know budgetary flexibility, too those who have been presented to cryptocurrencies are individuals who cherish development and are not perplexed of technology. My claim involvement tells me that individuals will acknowledge bitcoin and crypto gradually due to complexity.
From a bigger perspective the world would still be the same, as you said, most people are unconscious about bitcoin adoption's benefits. But if bitcoin didn't exist the reality of this small part of world's population who adopted bitcoin would be very different. Many bitcoin adopters rely on this digital income to live and have some confort for themselves and their families. Without bitcoin they would be like most people in the world: struggling in poverty to survive, suffering from the lack of jobs and opportunities, without any perspectives of increasing their patrimony on long run.

But thankfuly we have bitcoin, so we don't just survive, but we can also live.

I guess one of the ways to force the unbanked is by phasing out physical money and leave them with no option than to use the banks. People tend to underestimate people like that until they are forced to use what they don't like or what is harmful to them. I wouldn't be surprised if they adopt trade by barter, invent their own physical currencies or use abandoned traditional currencies. Lots of them like money in tangible form.

What do you think the world will be today without Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Yes, the Gold and Diamonds I guess! They would have been something by this time. Considering trillion dollars in market cap are locked with the crypto currencies could have been invested into Gold mostly and the prices for the same would have been above skies! May be more advancement would have been done in the way they mine Gold today, may be big whales would have put more efforts into that.

We do have digital payment system today so we would have stayed happy with it. Moreover there is pretty less chance that there would have been anyone with such excellent mind to think about it.

Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards). People would be subject to banks' desires without a chance for freedom. A cashless society would be only a dream, without innovations in the FinTech space. Gold would still be an option, but not everyone will be able to access it. The unbanked people will be forced to deal with banks in order to participate in the mainstream economy. A lot of challenges and hurdles would arise without a decentralized form of currency for the enjoyment of all.

It might also create an unbalanced economical system in which we would really see people striving hard to earn their money for their daily necessities because of the lack of versatile ways to earn in that kind of world. People would not be keen on learning on how to use digital banks because the development in the FinTech space is not that developed and they would be weirded out by how things would work in that kind of system. Mining companies would really flourish in that kind of businesses because Gold might come back as a greater currency than Fiat. Its really a blessing on how the FinTech space have developed into something so great right now and we really are thankful by the fact that we are living in a possibility that we can do transactions cashless.

It would be a dull and uncoloured world in case Bitcoin and crypto dissapeared after the times we tried it, learned and understood how it is to live with Bitcoin. But in case it would not be invented some day, we would not have such sn opportunity to compare with, that is why I think we would even did not notice that there is something absent in our lives. It would an ordinary life like it was before Bitcoin epoch.

I have not thought about that, and precisely, if no one was using Bitcoin it would have had no value, and since it is being used by more than just a person, the future of the world is pregnant with more users which means a time in the world without Bitcoin should not be imagined.
Well Said !!!!

However, this gives rise to a new topic. Can government shut down Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is ridiculously speeding it's popularity worldwide and governments and central bank can't control bitcoin. Some countries continuously warning and another countries accepted bitcoin as friendly. But lastly I realise that without bitcoin people can't alive healthy.

Also in addition, the bank managers will be more richer while the poor becomes more poorer, infact in my country, everyone was forced to own a debit card to be in use when transacting less than $100, for the government to become richer and build more estate for themselves and family, cryptocurrency saves and became a fair play for both categories in the society. Fiat would have make the economy of a country to be survival for the fittest basis, Cryptocurrency makes it easy for balancing the economy.
It is against our freedom, they should not have to force people to own credit cards if they don't want it. These rich people wanted to control everything around them, it is more on the market manipulation, government-controlled economy. Good thing that Bitcoin has to arrive and save us from this corrupt government, and stop milking people's money.

Bitcoin making a huge change on the economic system and that it makes it much better than having fiat. But somehow, many people still unable to get the idea and still doubtful.
