Asia is the most regulated and controlled environment for cryptocurrency, however, the population is a good target for the technology. There have been a lot of renewed adoption process starting from crypto to fiat project. As the most important position of adoption seeing WAzir project from India gladdens my heart. I believe if the highest of the population from the region change their position it will be easy for others to follow suit. Imagine the fund and population from China, India, Philippines, Pakistan and Indonesia in crypto

I'm not surprised if my country is not on the list of the crypto friendly countries because some people think cryptos are scam. Only few people knows about cryptos. Japan is really crypto friendly because the government are very supportive of cryptos especially bitcoin.
government support is indeed very important. and Japan has shown they support a renewal of the currency in the future. other countries should also prepare themselves for this if they want to continue to develop with the times.

I don't know where else in the world, but if in Asia I think Malaysia is a favored nation using cryptocurrency, I see hundreds of projects created in Malaysia and their governments also very supportive. much. This year they will use cryptocurrency instead of cash
Malaysia could be called crypto friendly but most of the project I've seen that could somehow "succeed" usually originates from singapore. Though, it's undeniable fact that a developing country more specifically malaysia which about to be categorized among high income country have much more opportunities than a country with developed economy. in term of friendliness, I'd call both of them equal.

Good to know that there are countries that are crypto-friendly, so i assume that most people in their country are using and buying cryptocurrency for their daily lives. It could also have a huge impact in the crypto market because other countries would copy them, so more people will buy or invest their funds in crypto.

Maybe add Philippines because here in my country many people start to gaining knowledge about cryptocurrency especially in bitcoin,  and also many crypto currency exchange are developing here in my country.

And aside from that we have Bitcoin Atm,  and also some stores here already accepting bitcoin as a alternative payment.
Although it's becoming crypto friendly because BSP registered more crypto exchanges and Security and Exchange Commission is finalizing crypto guidelines. For me, still not, because some banks like BDO still not familiar in crypto or they are not comfortable if your funds came from crypto. Still a long way before you can add or cashout without thinking of possibilities that you will be ask about crypto and feel uncomfortably. Some are just forcing theirselves to become dishonest on where the funds came from so they can avoid such possible scenarios. I guessed, you've heard the one in our country where in he is ask to pull out all of his money in the bank because the funds came from crypto.

Here is the link I found in the Philippines local forum https://www.manilatimes.net/2020/01/21/business/business-top/sec-readies-rules-for-cryptocurrencies/676170/?fbclid=IwAR0u3YB91gPFFhZ41nYvW2a6KZotHv1_Y3mqYuWgoAgbyDzjVnEyCGSr_K8

It usually is a positive sign when SEC sets rules for crypto but its also not good for someone who had a lot of crypto. I am from Philippines and coins.ph is just one good source of information for SEC to scrutinize. Philippines could be a crypto-friendly country but there might not be an escape for rich traders to pay huge taxes.

Also Estonia as well, they are very Friendly when it comes to crypto currency. A lot of asian people's live their and doing crypto projects, actually they are very fast and easy also open for crypto.  If you want to run a project flew to Estonia and get license from the government and move on, if you are all set to make a successful project with a friendly nature.

I think The Netherlands is missing out on that list, because there are many shops online and retail that are already accepting multiple cryptocurrency's
And we have a lot of the Bitcoin Atm's In the Netherands.
Also we have really good ways of buying Bitcoin and other Crypto's like ethereum or more with our own Online banking system Ideal, Those cryptotraders are already operation for a very long time and are registered with the Chamber of Commerce.

You can easily buy and sell your crypto there and they dont charge insane fees!

OWNR - Store all crypto in one app.

Residing in the Philippines does really great for a cryptocurrency enthusiasts, but I can say, bitcoin and cryptocurrency is allowed and is tolerable by government but the fact that its image formed isn't really well since right before, people think about it as investment rather than a daily transaction medium such as a currency. Many falls to scam and pyramids, that is why if we ask an older person what is their thought about bitcoin, they mostly don't like it knowing that computer literacy rate of old people in the Philippines isn't promising plus, the impact of their first impression when they hear what bitcoin is.

I can say, if we try to convince or attract people with bitcoin, we should mainly consider talking to milennials.

That's right, Philippines has been very really positive in terms of crypto industry, that's why we are really thankful for having a crypto friendly country, as we are open here in this kind of industry, the worst part is just that, some people here are taking for granted wherein they are taking it for granted and making crypto scam.
It's the reason why people never change their perspective regarding cryptocurrency, they are still looking on it's negative side because of those people who take advantage of that opportunity to deceive others and the one who ruins the reputation of cryptocurrency. No wonder why many of them are still in doubt, they are afraid to be victimized by those kind of people. I can't blame them but still they should also see the positive side of cryptocurrency, they don't need to judge it based on what they heard or have seen about it. Well it's great to see that the adoption of cryptocurrency in the Philippines is improving despite of that kind of incident, I just hope that those deceiver will realize how they made a huge negative impact on other people's way of thinking.

Have you heard about Vanuatu ( small island country located in the South Pacific Ocean)? It was the first citizenship by investment country to offer payment in Bitcoin.

Worldwide Payments Accepted in Seconds!
It is noted that most countries now are beginning to adopt cryptocurrency and blockchain. What I do noticed too is that US keep dissecting some projects outside their territory. Is it legal on your point of view? Some countries also like China seems to be hypocrite, as they criticize hard and ban cryptocurrency activity but later on they persuade their countrymen to explore blockchain and see a potential for growth.

The writer made a good impression by making Japan the first on the list. I'm impressed by that decision and that's a commendable way to start. It may be interesting to know that Japan is making moves on launching her own national digital currency. This shows that the country is indeed a step ahead in its support for modernisation and digitalisation of currencies.

That particularly happens on counties with specific limitations on cryptocurrency, and that situation that pertains to pull out of funds, there's a probability that the funds was having been insufficient information to prove its legitimacy. KYC on most bank is pushed through even with money transfers both local and international, because it is need in order to control people from money laundering. This is the only ways to prevent illegal money coming in and out in the country. Huge amount of transfer was also scrutinized and questioned before it goes to hand of the receiver.

For now, it seems like that Panama and Malta are two of the biggest destinations for offshore companies to incorporate in. Panama being the country of choice for derivative exchanges such as Deribit, which will be moving there very soon next month, and Malta for a lot of spot exchanges such as Binance.

I do think that there is a benefit to having positive regulation towards bitcoin and crypto overall, rather than trying to drive it out of the economy.

It makes no sense to do the latter because you're literally just forgoing government revenue in the regulated space and there is no enforceability to any restrictions, since crypto is vastly decentralized.
