From last year middle onwards bitcoin started to flourish and become more popular. 2016 gave good increase in user base as well a lot of startups based on blockchain serving in several sectors from finance to supply chain. And following that 2017 really started well and in between something made a collapse but as it's termed the returnback to the increased price made it the golden year.

I think that 2017 could be good for bitcoin, but it does not need to be that way necessarily.
Bitcoin has some challanges that have to be mastered. Solve the blocksize porblem for example.
And Bitcoin still needs to grow. It can only do so by gaining more users. And for more users, bitcoin needs more trust.
I do not think regulations would be such a bad thing, especially in matters of exchanges.
When people feel more secure, they might be persuaded more easily to try bitcoin.

I agree that this year will be the golden year or lucky year for bitcoin because bitcoin will be implemented or adopted and many countries and it will become more expensive than now which is very beneficial for us bitcoin users and investors. If the adoption and other small progress will continue then we can be sure that next year will be the part 2 of golden year for bitcoin.

Kaboom growing, like you call it, was happening in the end of 2013 and we all know that it ended up badly for Bitcoin, so we definitely don't need something like that now. I personally like how it is going this time - a constant steady growth during the last 18 months.

Yes, and price is shows that very good. We get to new all times high, and it looks like we can make a new one in the end of the year. In my opinion chances are very high for price to hit 1500 dollars, I expect quiet summer and boom after that. Every year is golden year for bitcoin, because bitcoin is constantly making progress and going forward, all this years are golden for bitcoin, and few next one will be golden also, until we get to some platinum years, that will be awesome.

The first few months have been very good for bitcoin in terms of price movement. We have all seen how it is capable of reaching new highs in a very short period of time. There will be months where it would seem like it has lost steam and would just idle for a while only to surprise us with another surge. If we could only get past $1,200 and break the walls that keep the price at that levels, I can imagine that we can hit $1,500 before the year ends.

Its not even the second half of 2017 but bitcoin has already reached ATH this year correct? So this year can be consider as golden year. We have to see what will happen to the other half and might get a good market price to end the year and truly say that 2017 is golden year for bitcoin.

I don't know if this year would be a golden year, because a WW3 scenario it's pretty closed, and I'm sure that the internet connection will be lost, and we wouldn't connect with each other or transfer our BTC. I hope something like that won't happen. We will see..

every year that passes, is somewhat a golden year for bitcoin. we are seeing a consistent growth despite all the naysayers and those who want to see bitcoin fail.
the price is the only thing that most people see and it is the most obvious one that is growing but if you take a deeper look and do some research about service, there has been so many more of them this year compared to last and so on. and this shows growth in the adoption.
