Why are moderators not deleting these posts but instead move them from newbie right here? This makes no sense.

Oh come on it's not as if they were going o make any money.  The 'Custom Hardware' section is a scam improvement arena for potential scammers. They have their scams reviewed and they pass, fail or adjust for future...

This particular scammer obviously graduated from the same school as Cedartec!

Unfortunately he learnt from the same shit teacher!!

I do love it when they adamantly try to defend their BS!

Yes, but how likely is that you have a product to launch, even more an ASIC, and have never had enough contact here to give you a non-newbie account, while at the same time you know NO ONE involved with bitcoin that posts here and could put in a good word for you. A guy with an account of this type is 99.99% scammer. Let them be in the newbies section if they want to post stuff like this.

What would make sense right now is ban this guy from the forum and delete his posts.

I came here to point out, as if it hasn't been said enough, that this is an obvious scam.  Don't give your money to these people folks.

Ahh.  I see now - thanks for the Panda board close up.  Another question: why are there wires connected to the removed audio jack?

You (theASIC) truly are idiots.  Scam accusation time?

A bit late I'm afraid, looks like it was accused of being a scam from the third post onwards...

Onboard there`s some kind of embedded hardware which allows mining without a additional running computer

You mean it's got a doohickey that doesn't require a widget?

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,

sorry that i have to post this to the "Newbie" section, but i`m not allowed to put it into some other part of the board.

I want to advertise some new Bitcoin ASIC miner, build completely on our own except the main chip (Avalon). We call it "theASIC". It is able to mine with around 6 to 7 GH/s at a power usage of 70 Watt. Onboard there`s some kind of embedded hardware which allows mining without a additional running computer, if you are running more than two devices, you may chain them via HDMI.

At the moment, ~140 devices are availible in a maximum of two weeks, these are just getting produced by our partners! We already have some of them working at our company for testing and mining.

You are able to buy it on our web page (www.theasic.com, please order through our contact page), it is 3.2Bitcoins for one device with flat shipping fee (to all countries!)! If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask!

Have a nice day,

Tom

I just got a possible great news from this if it is true. So can I predict that the chips will be shipped in two weeks, tom?

Can I use a VGA adapter with the HDMI cables?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the HDMI is clearly so you can connect it to a computer monitor to watch it mine?

Yes you connect your "theASIC" to your 1080p TV, so you can watch yourself getting screwed in hi-def.

Daisy chain them together so you can share with your neighbors.

I like the name though. I thought it was very inspired. I wonder whether they would accept LTC as well, or maybe CNC.

I thought aasic was a good name. My friends tell me it stinks like feet. I do no understand that joke.
