Twitter and Telegram are full of thousands of scammers, but the problem is not with Twitter or Telegram, the problem is with those people who salivate at the sight of "free airdrop" and do everything to get the airdrop and in the end they fall victim to their to their inexperience.

A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.

Beware Twitter scammers! Research airdrops, avoid personal wallet risks. Learn from others' mistakes. First Influencers and Whales buy at cheap prices, Pump, dump, and also soft rug pull.

Don't you know that followers on social media can be bought at cheap price like $1 for 1000 followers then how can you go with the numbers without knowing what you are about to invest. Keep the term DYOR (Do Your Own Research) so if you got interest because someone suggested you to do so then maybe Googling the name may find 90% of the scams.

One more reason to avoid anything about shitcoins.

KOL, the way to deceive many newcomers to this market, actually needs to look at the problem from many sides because I see mistakes in approaching this field knowledge of new entrants. Like the misconduct of some KOLs, they are willing to scam people for personal gain, and this I think will cost them over time, when the truth is exposed to some people almost had a life in hiding with everyone's tracking.
Anyway, this is a common problem, and everyone needs to be careful when experiencing and reminding everyone around about negative things, we want to build a clean and  environment

Are we to assume that twitter has the highest rate where scam projects and promotions were being made or consider other platforms, to me I've seen alot of social media platforms more worst than twitter, you can name it in their other like telegram, YouTube, Facebook and many others, they make use of theae platforms to launch the advertisements of their scam promotions because they can easily and quickly get the attention of those in a large number to take a look into what they are promoting, this call for being more sensitive to invite links, alert abd mails link that have suspicious content demanding our click o them.

It's not ideal to connect your wallet to any site despite the level of airdrop or rewards being gotten from the airdrop. Alternatively as I think is better to create account and move your valuable asset to new wallet or send little amount to the new wallet before connecting to the site in other to claim your rewards, besides you must not take all information on twitter into heart as some may not be genuine and authentic.

The social network space is increasingly accessible and abused for the wrong things, instead of people having access to more positive constructive information, it is easier to be trapped by money-making tricks. different flash methods. Some KOLs that I know they are really like a drum, completely with loud jokes Smiley , don't want to be punished but the act of receiving money to do wrong things, cheating on trust is something that used to happen. It's very popular on fb, tw, tg,... What I think we need to do is learn and re-evaluate everything by ourselves, not depending on any individual or organization for our best friend's decision, someone's information should only stop at the level of reference and not an assertion for us to decide.

Scammers can be anywhere and if there are lots of people talking about crypto, those scammers will mix in and give investment advice. Those of us who want to invest should learn more about the program to avoid being scammed. Everything can happen especially if it only requires a connection to a personal wallet where there are lots of coins that we store in that wallet. Maybe we can only do prevention by not using a wallet mixed with other coins but a wallet with no contents so that if something bad happens, we won't be affected.

yes true scammers are everywhere, however I also noticed that on twitter they have increased dramatically, especially during 2022, however telegram is also full of scammers.

yes, now scammers are very smart and are everywhere, so we have to be more careful and never open suspicious links, especially those that promise if you can get profits quickly and easily (just block them), because that's definitely a scam, especially if you like participating in airdrop, then my advice is that you better to have 2 wallets (the main wallet to store all your assets and the second wallet to participate in airdrop), so it will make your crypto assets safer to store in the wallet.
Maybe we need more than 2 wallets to separate which one we can use as a main wallet, backup wallet and wallet to join in new projects. And after getting the results from the new project and the project is really valid, we can move the assets to another wallet so they won't be mixed with other new projects.

That way, we can prevent the wallet we use for a new project from being hacked because we have separated the assets from other wallets. This method is safer than combining new project assets into the same wallet when registering for another new project.

Unfortunately that is true, there is nothing we can do to make any type of profit and that should be considered as reality. They may tell you there is a huge amount of money to be made, but there is none and you shouldn't do that. I personally hope that the best thing to do in this case would be getting as further away as possible and make a profit based on whatever you have. Too many people think about what they would do and most of them fail and they are not aware of how much trouble they are causing themselves. Just stay away, that is not reality and it will not benefit you and there is no other way, just do your own research and make your own money, that's it, there is nothing else.

Only a small number of individuals, particularly regular investors, can honestly claim to have never fallen victim to a scam. Unfortunately, I too experienced being scammed a few years ago through Telegram when I invested in an ICO that turned out to be fraudulent, resulting in the loss of my funds. It's crucial to remember that scams can occur on any platform utilized by cryptocurrencies, not just limited to Twitter. Therefore, it is essential for us to exercise caution, gather sufficient information, and conduct thorough verifications before investing our funds.

Scammers are looking for channels where they know that crypto influencer use and some places where big news and events about crypto are happening that is why they use Twitter.
Airdrops are now almost 100% scam because no one will believe Aidrop again if they are legit because Scammers has already master the process by making use of it to scam innocent beginners in crypto space.

It's either his account is hacked or he is running the scam himself. Although I'm not familiar who KOL is, nevertheless let this be a big lesson for you and for others too.

- never click on any suspicious link
- never link your account or your wallet

So this is not only applicable to Twitter though, but to all any other social media accounts, you really need to be very careful in the world that we are involved with. Criminals are just everywhere.

Lots of things like this has been happening recently because they always get some victim and poor newbies to follow their scam instruction which ended up with others losing their money. that's why when you happened to see such an offer just ignore it, especially those that are good to be true because non of them are really true. Greedy people always think that crypto investment is easy and they quickly doubled their money in a short period of time by following these scammer's instructions. they don't know it always takes time for the altcoins to grow and sometimes it will take years or months depending on the developer's dedication.

Just understand that most followers you see on social media are fake or rather a bot, so when you see such an account, you should avoid it, it doesn't matter if it is a verified account because they can hack someones account and use it to scam people,

For me a large number of followers does not mean they can be trusted. I meet a lot of Twitter users who have tens of thousands of followers and they are people who are hunting for referral links. Usually they are airdrop or giveaway hunters.

Maybe only verified Twitter accounts can be trusted. I apologize for the misfortune that has befallen you. Maybe this can be a lesson for other members so they can be careful when participating in airdrops. I honestly don't like Airdrops asking for KYC. Because for me personal data is more important than tens of dollars.
Even a verified Twitter account is not guaranteed to be trusted, I found a verified account with the lowest followers and does not use the original profile photo, we already know that verified accounts are charged a monthly fee, so be careful browsing information on Twitter and only trust news on account sources verified and valid.

One of the warnings that should not evade the mind of any cryptocurrency enthusiast is to avoid phising links at all cost. These links are responsible for the theft on one's wallet. The idea of connecting wallet to verify and obtain airdrops is something I disdain and strive to abstain from due to the risk potential.

Twitter and telegram is the hotspot platforms of scammers. Just avoid clicking link or interacting on this casino especially if you are a newbie or don't really have idea what you are doing. These scammers are doing anything to scam people like joining the current trend, impersonate influencers and even make smart contracts just to scam people. I believe that even crypto veterans can possibly be victimized by this scammers because some of them are really good to it. Just avoid using twitter if you find it as a threat or just don't click links that you think is harmful.
