We are going to eventually get there but it is not going to be easy, governments are not going to accept that easily that bitcoin is used for all kind of transactions, for the time being they are not banning bitcoin because they think it is not really a threat to the system that they had put in place but when that changes you can be sure that things will change very rapidly, and that will be the greatest test for bitcoin because many companies and businesses are going to drop bitcoin as a form of payment and only the ones that really believe in it will keep using it.

I think anyone serious about business will accept as many forms of payment as they possibly can. After all we making money here. Turning customers down is retarded. Why even spend all that on advertising and losing customers when all you need to do is support new payment methods. The government can never ban or control bitcoin or any crypto. They cant even control things as they are. Bitcoin can already be used at many places all over the world especially online. Many large companies now accept it as payment and i think smaller companies will fall under its footsteps
Governments can ban bitcoin they only need to change a few laws and they can do it very easily, what it is going to be a lot more complex is to try to enforce those laws, but you are missing my point, if at some point bitcoin is made illegal most people are going to get scared and are going to drop bitcoin as a form of payment that they accept because they are not going to want to break the law and only a few people are going to keep holding their bitcoin, but if bitcoin can get over that difficult period which I'm sure will come then bitcoin will become truly unstoppable.

Investors are not interested anymore to invest in crypto but because they are not profitable, IEO nor ICO now after their project listings crash and culminate the investor's disadvantage.
There is no word hold and holding it with a long time it will make a bigger loss again. So investors are now deserted and do not mean not interested.

as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

I think most of the investors in the early years are onto trading now since they can earn profit without waiting much time even though they could also lose some money in a blink. It has been two years since BTC went ATH and never get back again to that $19K rate so I guess they've done some research and learned their ways to become a good trader now to earn more what they've lost probably in the past.

When compared to 2017 it is very much different, in that year cryptocurrency was very profitable because the price of coins increased very high and then attracted a lot of people because people who are in cryptocurrency got a big profit and then started many people who were interested in it and where they are now, we can see a lot of unfavorable projects and a lot of falling coin prices that make investors get a lot of failures in investing, maybe now investors prefer to wait for the right time.

The situation of the cryptocurrency market this year is very worrying because it does not have the desired growth. Many people have stopped investing in cryptocurrencies altogether. There are many more beneficial investments for coughs.

in my opinion not all investors have left the market, some of them are still active and are still taking part in projects both ICO and IEO. if there are still projects that appear then there are still investors who take part in it as well. or maybe the lack of investor interest at this time due to many fraud projects in addition to the still bad market influence.

Majority of investors of 2017 fell victim from scam projects and some of them may have pull-out their investment since the project they invested is not generating any profit or to minimize their loss and I think its one of the reason why the marketcap drastically reduced.

I am one of them. I'm converting half of my savings into crypto but I limit my investments into popular cryptos and IEOs from trusted exchanges. I resist selling for small price changes and haven't had a loss for last 6 months though the prices of crypto decreased in the time.

Cryptocurrencies are not worth investing now a days. Most of the project either not able to reach hardcap or they are not successful after coming to an exchange. Values of most of the new project's coins is decreasing after their launch on an exchange then whey would investors invest their hard earned money in crypto projects. Scam projects are another reason for low money inflow in crypto market. There is something really needs to be done to boost crypto market. In my opinion, lots of IEO,ICO taking place every single day is also a big concern for survival of crypto market.

not everyone leaves crypto, because investors believe it will return, when Bitcoin has gone up, investors will find it very difficult to buy Bitcoin and it is likely they will reinvest in crypto which is cheaper than buying Bitcoin, so I'm sure cryptocurrency will return..

I think most of them prefer only Bitcoin as a safe harbor. It's risky to invest in any new project right now. Therefore, I think they will continue to wait until there is less risk environment and high profitable buying opportunities in the market.

Well.... Bitcoin was the original cryptocurrency which was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto. There is no other cryptocurrency out there, which we can trust 100% (not even Tether, after all the recent controversy regarding the line of credit given to Bitfinex). So if you want to take as little risk as possible, then the only option left in cryptocurrency market is to invest in Bitcoin.

No more Rekt and Bust
Actually, the most people are not really interested in cryptocurrency itself, they are interested in getting profit. In 2017 we saw a great altcoin season when all the coins were growing which attracted many people to the cryptocurrency market. As we are in the downtrend at the moment, people are trying to earn money in other ways.
Without a doubt that is an issue, this market has gained the reputation of being great for those that like to speculate in a highly volatile market and while this is great for traders this is not really what businesses and what the average person is looking for, they are looking for a currency that is relatively stable that can be used to buy all kind of products and if we are honest with ourselves bitcoin is not there yet but I think that at some point in the future we'll get to that point.
right, bitcoin even though it has a big idea, but has not been able to be applied to the current conditions. but in its development of digital assets this is a good gold to invest. although prices tend to fluctuate, but I think it is safe for long-term investment

This is the kinda debatable theme, there is no concrete time for crypto mass adoption. Maybe another alternative will surpass the value of the BTC in 5 years and everyone will prefer to use this payment method due to the advantages compared to the laggy, expensive BTC payment gateway. I also don't see the BTC as a mean of payment, it suits better in investments as a security asset.

In the market, both the stock market or forex, including cryptocurrency, when the market is in a bad condition, they better wait and see. I think that every investor will take the opportunity when the market is down and many big investors are accumulating coins at low prices
Investors who understand the market too well are making money even in this kind of situations, they acknowledge the adjustment that they needed in order to continue gaining out from the market. While in the other hand, people who are suffering from loses are those who are not ready not knowing that in every event there's cycle that's needed to follow. Wise investors will scalp and also accumulates, they will split funds and wisely balance the trading strategy that they will going to use.

Agree, experienced investors will be able to take advantage even if prices fall. Long-time experienced investors will not easily panic when prices in the market fluctuate so they can prepare exit strategies and sometimes they play in the short and long term at once in a few coins

Invetor in IEO certainly still exists and that is for people who want quick ROI profit and after that of course they will come back to invest again in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is currently only a very promising investment and now there are also many quality tokens that can already sale and purchase so that they might decide to make an exchange rather than participate in an ICO / IEO that is not yet clear whether to benefit or not.
The investors invest in coins which are having great demand in the market and along with that they also invest in IEO but there are a lot of risks in IEOs for the investors as many exchanges show fake funds for the projects and attract some investors who do not know the reality of that exchange and after the end of the IEO the coins do not show any good result and that investors are disappointed from investing in IEOs again.

In the market like this time, I can say that it's very risky to invest in cryptocurrencies, because market is unstable and market cap is too low.  We need a hype like 2017 to increase the inflow to this market, by some kind of investment trend like ICO or IEO.

What is the point in having a spike like the one that we had in 2017, if it can't be sustained? Back then, it was a wild and crazy bull run, which failed in sustaining itself. The correction which followed the bull run left many of the investors in financial ruin. And even now we can find a large number of users, who are stuck with cryptocurrency which was purchased at ATH levels.
