You make a good point because the chance of winning in lottery game is thin than betting on soccer,dices etc but we cant all have the same opinion, views, understanding and luck because I have seen some people who are very lucky in winning lotteries. What important is knowing the kind of game that work best for you.

Yes, so many wanting to got the jackpot price but it sad to say that only one person or two have chances to win. Now, if you luck in gambling or other forms of betting, you'll probably have that big chances to take the price.

May be my opinion is different but i have seen in my country. Gamblers have no interest on lottery system, they do play only gambling.

In some country, the lottery is played by people who don't always play gambling, and they only want to spend their time with their friends. And in lottery games or the other gambling games, we will have another chance to win because when we are a gamble in the next day, we have a new chance to win, but it doesn't guarantee. We still need to think about the coming of the luck to us so we can win the game.

I am surprised to know that even though the chance of wining are so so less, yet people participate in lottery system with the hope of wining. I am unable to understand the reason for this attitude ?

Maybe the people needs the quick money without any hard work, so they keep on trying their luck with lottery, that may change their fortune some day.

I don't think there's any reason why someone would believe that there's a way to make money out of lottery. The ratio of wins to the amount of people betting makes it illogical to even make expectations. It's something that you set aside after making the bet and leave itbfor tomorrow. Among all gambling games, this probably is the hardest to win but the most life changing if you get lucky enough.

The number one reason? The possibility of winning. I would rather play dice or other luck-based games than gamble my money on the lottery. Sports betting is far better than these luck-based games and also, the chance of winning there is higher than that luck based.

You might be right with what you said but I have read on this forum that the chance of winning in gambling is higher than been a bitcoin solo miner. I agree with you. There was a time my mother used to buy lottery tickets really often, not that many though but often enough. I didn't see that see ever won anything out of it.

I believe that time and money can be better spent learning a new skill that will help you to make more money. It might not be so many millions like that Jackpot but you will certainly get money out of it.

Depending on the country you are in, it can be a pretty nice amount of money over time.

I think there is absolutely no fun in such activity. Buying a ticket, is in a way very passive process. There is no actual gambling emotions involved. Most of people are doing it automatically, on their way to a grocery. Hope for the jackpot is still there, deep down we counting on our luck but consciously most of players know that they are throwing away money. That's why most of the lottery players are not even recognise it as gambling, more like a taxation of dreams

Lottery always make fun, but we can't always rely on that. I mean do lottery in our live for daily. Because if we rely on that, we can lose all our money only in lottery, because someone who already addicted to it, sometime can't get help anymore if his money not gone yet.

Why do people seem to think that it simply becomes easier to win as the jackpot increases? Like when it hits a certain mark they're all "It's gonna blow!".

The only thing it does seem to manage to do is slightly increase the number of daily bets. It might become more likely for SOMEONE to get the jackpot, but that don't make it necessarily likely you'll get it.

In my country it just keeps going up, up, nothing and then boom, you have five or so winners sharing the jackpot (we chose the combination rather than it being preprinted on the ticket).

So every time 140 million tickets are sold, in the long run, 1 winning ticket is also sold.
