Here are my Ants powered by a HP DPS-800GB server supply w/ custom breakout board wired to a Raspberry Pi running MinePeon so I can monitor the status and power cycle remotely.

Nice. How much did that board cost to make?

Roughly $30, I did all the soldering by hand. All in all about half the cost of the CX750's I was using before this.

Here's my humble setup.

You're not popping breakers running 6 Ants through one outlet? In a kitchen with other appliances?

looks like 240V - either a stove outlet of just a 15A 240V outlet that is a little bit too close to its limits

How thew heck are you guys powering so many ants at homes? I have 15a 120v which is about 1800 a circuit. Im throwing breakers right and left...

if you are popping breakers that is REALLY dangerous. Electrical rules state you should keep loads at <80% of the rated capacity, or ~1500W per 15A circuit.

I was using 3 different 15A circuits for a while - just upgraded to some heft 213V, 30A circuits in order to expand

Yeah I moved the antminers to the spare bedroom which is on its own circuit with nothing using it. No problems now. It was in my office walk-in closet which uses the same circuit as my office which has a beefy gaming computer, a server, a laser printer, ect.

When you upgrade to 213V, 30A circuits you need to run new wiring as well correct?
