We also have a major difference of opinion regarding what is considered incorrect information, and willful spreading of it. Saying, I intend to buy 10,000 BTC at $10,000 each tomorrow, so buy now! If I have no intention of doing so, is about the extent of what I'd consider intentionally spreading fake information (typically for personal gain). Anything that is processed by the human brain is skewed by previous experiences, personal beliefs, whatever, and needs some sort of special consideration when you say its incorrect or willful lying. Related to the topic at hand, these are the reasons that I think all but the most extreme cases of "trolling" don't really matter. If someone's behavior is unreasonably obstructing everyone else, they are politely asked to leave by the moderation staff by means of a ban message.

 Anyone that falls into any other category should be handled with an ignore button. If a person is on everyone else's ignore list, they probably should, and probably will be asked to leave. Not to make any of this personal, as I don't care about any spats you've had with other members. I perceive the motivation of your topics on the matter as having to do with them, which is why I mention it at all. You or the other parties are not currently obstructing the forum for all other uses, you are just annoying each other. That probably means that neither parties has to be asked to leave for trolling, spreading fake information, or whatever. Just use the ignore function and carry on.

If people consistently get into debates defending their untrustworthy and unfair actions that they have taken for financial gain at the cost of the board in real terms.  After they lose and lose and lose these debates, they may decide to ignore the person demonstrating their foul deeds. Their stooges and goons may also try to argue and debate but they lose obviously too because observable events are not something you can talk your way out of. If they all have a person on ignore and they also keep making false statements that the person is trolling them( when he only presents observable events) then it stands to reason that person is net positive and should not only NOT be banned they should be given a position of trust and power so that they can free the board from net negative and untrustworthy persons. Since they and only they were objective and strong enough to stand against them.

It is quite possible that innocent parties, or those just too afraid to stand against a gang of observable untrustworthy individuals that do have the power to damage their accounts will remain silent or be temped to join them as they perceive this is the sensible option. To me that no longer means they are innocent if they are knowingly supporting untrustworthy people and supporting their maintaining controlling positions.

The only reason I respond to topics like this at all, is because you are asking for a change in moderation policy, and I'm arguing that we need as few policies based on uncertain terms as possible. Interpersonal relationships are best not monitored by the forum staff. I'm probably biased here, but I think the rules in place are sufficient, and the tools provided to forum users are almost flexible enough to deal with any situation that doesn't require moderator action. If you are able to even understand my reasoning for the points we disagree on, even if you do disagree, that lends to my point that we'd be asking for new rules based on things that not everyone is in agreement over.

The tools in place that are provided to the forum users are broken. This is observable clearly by just realising it is entirely possible using these tools to cast someone as untrustworthy for encouraging other members to view observable events. It is completely stupid and useless. The tools are not given to "forum users" the tools are given to SOME forum users to share only to those they know will collude with them in pushing their flexible (depending on how it benefits them at the time) agendas.

 For instance you may see a gang member advertise their account for sale and get no red trust from their DT pals, where as they will rush to red trust anyone "non" gang affiliated for simply advertising to sell their account. Or you may see a user get red trust for simple encouraging others to review a gang members post history. That's without obviously getting into  the "tool" of merit that is now DT anyway which I think is even more abused for which there is NO comeback except if you are going up against the gang, then they can have your merits removed even in the post is more merit worthy than most of the net negative trash they give merit for (which is usually politically motivated) or just blatant merit abuse.

I think trolling as per the rules (wilfully spreading incorrect information repeatedly when asked to stop) in more beneficial that what you say trolling is which I agree is basically meaningless because it does totally depend on your point of view or what you understand the facts of the matter to be. So best keep the rules as they.

Voicing an alternative opinion which actually does have more substantial evidence to support it in terms of observable events than the currently favoured opinion (by those who benefit by sticking to that opinion) is not trolling it is simply a net positive post that is trying to assist reaching the optimal outcome.

I mean this is the point of a discussion forum isn't it? to enter our thoughts into a big pool and then compare and measure their merits when they conflict or support or enhance until we have the optimal solution.

I am confident that I can through reasonable debate bring you more inline with what my opinion is. Not because I want everyone to think the same way as me. I take your post as I take you. Well meaning, honest and a desire to be fair. However, there can never be anything boring about a person presenting evidence that he has been abused by a system that provides incentive to abuse, and provides the means to abuse, that crushes free speech. If it is predictable that someone will provide observable events demonstrating clear wrong doing to those that have done wrong when they seek to deride and punish others for the same crimes whilst rewarding themselves then that is the kind of predictability the world needs more of.  The very notion that people caught red handed doing wrong themselves  can lecture and punish others for lesser crimes whilst rewarding themselves and then go on to entrench themselves within a trust system that allows them to crush the objections of those that mention how disgusting and grotesque the entire thing is needs to be taken far more seriously.  I wish the world was far more predictable in the sense that the observable scumbags are called scumbags over and over until they relinquished their power and slunk away to be scum in the shadows.

Cryptohunter , sometimes people get attached to something more than they should, i think you give the forum much more importance than 100 members combined , you are so consistent it makes me a bit worried about you, you are a good person i can sense this, i am sure many others think the same, some don't , but i am sure we all agree that you have been on replay for a few months now and it is getting boring and predictable , i always know what you going to say next.
