When someone is asking to be banned because of that, yes I think it is.
Look at his merit page. How this guy could earn as much merits as that if he is a bad member?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1003533

non sequitur

Someone asking for a ban is just a demand for attention. If he wants to leave (for any reason) he can do so without a ban and without a "look at ME" thread.

And this has nothing to do with merits. Nor does the red trust prevent him from earning merits.

just curious has theymos banned someone just because they requested it? because I've seen a similar thread in the past but never knew what happened after.

I am so very very tired

While I agree to suchmoon's statement, I checked his merit history on your demand and those were all local posts. I don't remember if Yobit ever counted them (or was it for some specific boards)?

Whatsoever, the guy is trying to drag yobit's advertisement in Meta in such a stupid way we can't imagine about. There was no need to create all this drama here. About yobit's investbox, yeah that's shit as I've my own personal experiences. Dice looks shady too and their coins show volumes out of thin air (check their buy/sell sides both, see the orders kept there, then check the history of orders either sold or bought and you'll see).

OP, there is no need for such violence when you could just leave us alone in silence. Cheesy

He capitalised the ME twice

Probably trying to make sure that theymos doesn't accidentally ban some other drama queen.
Nice one! I've read the OP's thread title like this: SORRY

The X10 investbox is still active on Yobit and AFAIK there is still not even a single user here, on cryptotalk or on the Yobit chatbox who claimed to be scammed by this investbox. Not a single one.

Here is one, exactly in his topic:

I can confirm that. Yobit Investbox is a scam!
I personally invested $100 before a year and a half in Yobit Investbox buying one of his shitcoin. Also with 10% interest. After the first 24h and first payments, I was never positive counting investment + profit. So, my $100 investment +10% reward worth $95 after the first 24h. After a few days, I decided to withdraw and sell daily interest only, and keep my basic investment active. Two weeks later, my initial investment worth $0,001, profit which I am withdrawing from Investbox worth around $15.
later I followed some of their tokens, the same schemes was always repeated.
For me, it is a SCAM!

On gambling, I have the chance to win something, small but still have a chance. But on Yobit IB, I can only lose.
You should read more carefully Sir. This user clearly said it was not the X10 investbox.
So you're wrong.
There is still not even a single user who claimed to have been scammed by this X10 investbox, unlike dozens of scams here.

Expressing his opinion shouldn't be a crime on a libertarian forum, even being wrong.

Also, it's not a crime to tag a user on a libertarian forum.

Here is one of a list of topics from a multitude of topics with lists about topics in which yobit is accused of scamming

I understand wolwoo, this guy was DT1, was considered to be a good poster and earned many merits but because he expressed his own opinion about the X10 investbox campaign he has been red trust by 3 DT members...  Embarrassed  Embarrassed  Embarrassed

The X10 investbox is still active on Yobit and AFAIK there is still not even a single user here, on cryptotalk or on the Yobit chatbox who claimed to be scammed by this investbox. Not a single one.

Moreover wolwoo obviously doesn't belong to Yobit, and has no interest in this business. So I think now it's freely nasty and cruel to leave those infamous red trusts on his profile.

Seriously OP, if you don't like this forum or its members' alleged predilections for matriphilia, just leave. You don't need assistance from theymos. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

The OP is fully aware of it but thrives on attention seeking.

Part of the problem that has helped structure his persona over time is the fact he sees posts from those that gently egg him on and without spelling it out they encourage him to fight a nonsensical illogical fight that was manufactured by a result of his own failures in the first place, usually against anybody that disagree with him.

They share a common trait, they try to maintain a character but over a period of time no matter how much they try to avoid it the mask will slip and their real character will show.

I for one will not shed a tear if the OP takes those take encourage him along with him and hope the door will not hit any of them on the way out. The preference would be for them to reform and become a force for good and positive contributors in the forum but failing that, sure they should consider leaving but as I said - he seems to thrive on attention seeking.

(Why Foxpup distrusts me is beyond me)
I don't distrust you as such, I just disagree with your judgement of the trustworthiness of others. It's nothing personal.

It never occurred to me to check my trust/distrust list Vs your own.

Quote
Trust list for: Timelord2067 (Trust: +9 / =4 / -1) (DT1 (-11) 327 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP) (created 2020-01-18_Sat_05.16h)
Back to index

Timelord2067 Trusts these users' judgement:

13. actmyname (Trust: +17 / =0 / -0) (DT1! (13) 867 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

Quote
Trust list for: Foxpup (Trust: +3 / =0 / -0) (DT1! (4) 833 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP) (created 2020-01-18_Sat_05.16h)
Back to index

35. ~actmyname (Trust: +17 / =0 / -0) (DT1! (13) 867 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

actmyname is the only user I trust that you distrust...

So your distrust of me is simply retaliatory distrust of others.

Nice one.

Code:
~foxpup

be sure to check my trust wall feedback of you in a little while.

BTW - I see you pay suchmoon to wear you profile pic.  Did you also sweeten the deal by paying suchmoon to also distrust me? (Be honest now)

suchmoon normally flies off the handle with his "last straw" comment every other day at randoms then reads further and calms down, but if you paid suchmoon to "distrust me" then that would explain his recent change in behaviour.

So may users wearing Yobit signature, but really was it necessary to call all participants and supporter for a war? I don't think it was really necessary, you should go same as other participants. But since you were on DT1 and that's why you thought you will show your power. Ofcourse you have right to express your opinion, in a result other did same. So this not something to give up forum. Take it easy and be a general participant like others.

Besides, no one forcing you to stay on forum nor forcing to leave. If you think this forum isn't appropriate for you feel free to lock your account by giving wrong security answers. No need ban request.

Your remedy is simple. Encourage the good posters and reply to them. ignore the bad posters, and those with whom you disagree, Pretty soon you will build your own sub-forum here, and you can enjoy that.

That's worse than being ban I think. No one will tell you that your doing a mistake or error is like living in an awful No Man Island.

I pity you @OP it seems like you lose the will to continue here in forum. Like other's suggest maybe a good vacation is worth a try and cool down a bit. If you can't handle this kind of conversation then drop it. But dont push someone (theymos)to do that for you. Quit like a guy without leaving any traces of shame on yourself.
