That was my first thought too. This man has an army – specifically a Jihadi Islamic fundamentalist rebel group – and that army expects something from Ukraine in return for their efforts.

Yes, I saw some videos about this. In a recent hypersonic missile attack from Russia, many mercenaries were killed who were supposed to fight by the side of Ukraine. For sure this type of strike shake the nerve of mercenary fighter and their morale is low. However, RF also consists of some mercenary groups like the Wagner group, Chechen militia, DPR and LPR forces, and VDV. There are another 16000 Syrian troops going to join. Main RF is still on the border which makes western leaders worried. They don't know what's on Putin's mind.

Well that's interesting. From what I remember from the news, Putin has brought in Chechens to fight in Ukraine. I wonder what happens when these Chechen groups come face to face with each other. I know Chechens tend to be found in various places during conflicts, like these guys showed up in the Philippines, though I'm not sure simply hating Russia would be enough for them to go and fight in Ukraine. Those in the Philippines were fighting alongside other Muslim separatists, I don't know if they'd be welcome in Orthodox Ukraine.

Don't get started with him, there's literally no point in arguing with such people, they'll throw you down to their level and beat you from experience. There are several studies proving vaccine efficacy, but these conspiracy folks will quote an article from a random blogspot website as a valid source. Fact checkers have debunked hundreds of those.

This war just won't end soon. Russia will not kill all the Ukrainians at once, meaning there will always be people resisting even if Russia overthrew the Ukrainian government. The only way this may end is if his Government gets toppled.

I believe that Putin genuinely thought he would be welcomed as a leader who would free them from Ukraine's corrupt government. Pretty ironic, right? Bombarding whole cities in order to "save" the Russian - speaking regions.

He's certainly not stopping till he gets what he wants. It's been over 20 days now, the whole country is destroyed and even if the war stops now, one way or another, it will take decades to recover.

I've got no clue about who he is, however, things have taken a turn for the worst for quite a while now. If I'm not mistaken, we've passed the 20 days milestone, with neither sides showing signs of a possible ceasefire, especially Putin who is about to go all in. Anyway, responding with war against Russia would be disastrous, we've had enough casualties already, we don't need more civilians killed, despite from which country they're from.
