I'd say it has a lot to do with hatred of women, but that hatred comes from a misplayed hatred of oneself. Racism follows the same principle. People hate themselves for their shitty little life, and they need somebody else to blame, but the only person they should be blaming for their crappy circumstances is themselves, but they're too stupid to realise this, so they blame others.
