the price of bitcoin is not the same as of now. At that time, people did not specifically care about it, but only used it as a toy. But for now, this is a big loss.
I would like to share with him, it is a huge number, unfortunately if we have worked hard but the result is lost due to our own negligence. You should have a backup of all your assets.
Oh thats was so frustrating no matter how low the value of bitcoin way back then it is still valuable.. It might bring depression too.. This is not new case though just a lesson to keep our wallet file safe and secured to avoid these sad scenario.
I can only imagine the amount of Bitcoin lost or stuck in wallets. The amount must be staggering. My grandfather lost .25 bitcoin the other day. He is 93 years old and can only remember pieces about what happened. I help him out now. Sad thing is he was in Bitcoin before me.

In 2011 the price of Bitcoin was not too high and I consider this case like I would last one bitcoin today and I will regret it in terms of $7,000, but if bitcoin will reach $100,000 till the end of the year I will not regret in terms of $100,000, but $7,000. Oh, I don't think that he regrets hard, because it is the same as story about the guy who bought 2 pizzas for 10000 Bitcoin, I've heard an article about him and he told that he doesn't regret because at that time bitcoin was not that valuable as it is right now.
Sorry for hes lose but if he already start mining bitcoin back in 2011 maybe he got rich already now because he will still mining in a new wallet and the okd wallet will still remain even though he cant move that btc anymore.
This kind of news broke my heart. I couldn't imagine the intensity of pain that he had to go through dealing with that kind of loss. I for one will be totally devastated if i am in his shoes. I hope and pray that i will never experience such a scenario.

Unfortunate things like this really happens so it is important to take care of your account. Always keep in mind that the ones who prepares steps ahead will not fear what's gonna happen next. To do this, be aware of any malicious and unfamiliar links that can phish information from you. And always update your passwords and be sure to not use same passwords you use in other accounts likr social media.

if something similar happens then the amount of bitcoin in the market is incomplete, decreasing from 21,000,000 bitcoin.
I think i would kill myself if i loose 103 BTC. It makes 770.000 USD 
I am sure that guy didn't ever realised that the Bitcoin price rise to $7.500 and he never secured his wallet. So this is a story everyone must have a lesson.. And i think that no one can find his private key again, it's more than hacker work.

This is a really unfortunate situation. 103 Bitcoins is a really big amount of money. If he gave up on trying to find his wallet file, I suggest that he must move on, find a new way to earn Bitcoin and make this experience a motivation. These things in life really happens, we must move on and be a greater version of ourselves by learning from these experiences.
WOW, 103 BTC is not a small amount if I become him maybe I will be very disappointed because I throw that much money, but we also have to be careful to save our btc because many scam sites now that make wallet namu all our assets are taken by him so we have to be careful too if we want to save our btc in any wallet

For me 103 bitcoin now is really a big amount of money so i am sure that guy have a big regrets, but i am also sure that he can still earn some bitcoin, so right now i am advicing all people im crypto to became very wise so they will not experienced to lost a lot of bitcoins.
