I guess some substructuring, like "new coins", "giveaways", "coin accepting/trading sites", "coin mining", "general discussion", ...  would help considerably.

This.
+1.

I kinda like the mess. Where everything is crammed together and you have to sift through to find the gems. That makes it more fun!

divide this at:

new coins
planned coins
dumped coins
pumped coins
hype
spam
scam
sewer

it will make things smart and simple...

No longer a place to discuss about alternative cryptocurrencies but to PR your newest copied and paste coin, No longer a place where the community choose the best for whatever reason, but where people spam non-stop about the "next big thing" and "0% pool fees", No longer a place where we point the obvious scam and backstabbing schemers but where the cult followers stealthily interject every reasonable discussion...

Yeah, it would certainly help if the admins were to ever care enough to fix up the forums.  But overall BCT forums are probably the worst forums I've ever been a part of.

Seriously, 2 minutes to create a giveaway sub-forum would clean up 80% of the mess.
never gonna happen. If this place bothers people so much they are free to leave and find a home elsewhere.
