I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?

actually you give tau to your friend to hold the coin that he have because if he sell it must be very loss should just wait until the price back up, give the spirit to your friends if the price will not always below will surely rise.

One of the most important rules of crypto investing is not investing more than what you are willing to lose!

if your friend wants to quickly get back what he invested he could try day trading which would be giving him some varying profits on a daily basis depending on the cryptocurrency he chooses to trade but he needs to learn the art its not something you learn in a day.

I read on the forum, about a guy, who mining ETH at a low price in early 2017 (at summer prices around $ 34,000). In the summer, the price fell for a short time - he started trading and lost all that was in a few risky operations.

That’s what market is all about, some people will have to lose for others to earn. If they don’t lose, those who earn won’t be able to earn. What these people have to do now is just wait till another opportunity comes for them to earn. I would even recommend that they invest now at a lower rate if they are able to take the risk and wait for price of go up again. But they shouldn’t worry much, another good opportunity is coming for sure.

I can't say that bitcoin will come at the price of $18,000 up to $20,000. At this time we know that the bitcoin value is unstable and it always makes a correction and unfortunately it is in a low price situation. Possible that after this year the bitcoin price will reach again at $20,000.

Well I think it is better form your friend to still hold his bitcoin. He would probably lose a lot of money if he sell all of his bitcoin today because the price of bitcoin nowadays is very low. Just be patient and wait for the price of bitcoin to get back on its track and increase its price again.

I think the best way you do is give her/him  advise that don't lose hope because bitcoin will back on track just be patient. And I think most of us in crypto word feel that way too. Lesson learn is always buy bitcoin if the price is low so when the bitcoin go high you get big profit.
Yes just give some confidence to your friend, of course, new investors will get panic because of it almost 50% down to compared last December. but don't lose hopes definitely it will come back just wait patiently.

Better let him hold his Bitcoin first, of course it is very disappointing most especially his loss was half of the amount he bought Bitcoin with but he should’ve know in the first place that it’s not the same amount everytime and trading is risky especially with Bitcoin in which the price is constantly fluctuating so of course don’t expect Bitcoin to keep on rising too. The best thing he needs to do is just hold Bitcoin first and leave it for a couple of months or years even to gain profit.

Just a piece of advise, tell your frient to not sell his Bitcoins. I understand that it is quite a disappointment given the current price of it but hey, if you are going to based it on the historical trend of Bitcoin then he should not worry at all, its value will still slowly but surely get back on track, just be patient and hold, it has been just a couple of months, we are yet to see Bitcoin's price to the moon and I believe it will happen this year.

If your friend is not stupid, then he will not sell his bitcoins now. Read various topics on the forum, everyone says (and I think so) that you do not need to sell it and the price will still reach new heights and your friend will change his mind. Rest assured.
if until now they are still doing business on bitcoin maybe they already get some very big money, in fact every year bitcoin prices always soar

I think those people who have invested in this peak of the charts, are mostly new investors who have no idea about investing or cryptocurrencies. Those are for sure the weak hands who already sold their coins and make a huge loss. So these people made a very bad experience with cryptocurrencies and im sure they will not invest anymore in cryptocurrencies Grin

then there will be many new people which still want to invest in cryptocurrency and I think they will learn many things from the cryptocurrency. but I am not that they will be strong hands and still hold the bitcoin if the price is down again although many people still hold their bitcoin. I think there are people which still investing in bitcoin although they buy bitcoin at the high price because they believe that bitcoin price will increase soon.

Well i don't think there are a lot of these people right now. They've probably contributed already to the price drop by selling their btcs at a loss. I don't think it's that bad even if you've bought in at 15-18k. I'm pretty sure we can still top that but it will take time. Hence the importance of spending what you can only afford to lose

Bitcoin- in bullish time
All I can say is, this is not the right time for your friend to sell his Bitcoin if it is purchased on 18K. Your friend will be in great lost if he sell it now. All I can advise is hold it now till the end of the year. Because by that time Bitcoin may reach 30K to 50K$. Remember good things happens to people who patiently wait.
That is best advice so far. Definitely all those who have bought bitcoins at higher prices like $17k or above back in 2017, this is not a good time to sell. If you do so, bad losses will be in your account. You people never did invested for taking losses back so wait until prices surpasses your buying prices and getting higher. That would be best for you to sell and earn some handsome money.
Instead of selling their bitcoin to get their money back with losses. It is better if they will just study trading and try to master it because that is the best way in order to slowly recover and gain profit again so they don't need to sell their bitcoin to take back their money because they can grow it through trading altcoins in the different crypto exchanges.
