People are starting to recognize the alts. This is just the start of a bigger world for cryptos, where many alts are used by people, not only bitcoin, ethereum, and the top alts but some other coins that really has the potential especially for the increasing number of crypto users.
I would say that boost of altcoins is only temporary and only few coins can come out as winners but the dominance of bitcoin will remain no matter the temporary problems or obstacles it faces. In the next period bitcoin price will approach 20000$ again.
Let's hope it will continue more and more in the coming days or weeks that bitcoin would continue and will get the momentum of a bullish trend again, But I think that bitcoin had this kind of movement even in the past we can see that it had reached a certain amount and a decent one too, It is tried and tested by many investors and right now we can see that even the main stream media had gain interest with it.
I do see a couple of big whales saying that 16k was the resistance, and if broken would signal a run to at least 18k. And yes, today's 10% gain is pretty impressive, since this means it would have only taken two weeks to recover from a significant tumble - but I still feel it's too early to call the bull's return. Hardly a bull trap either, this could end up being the new sideways range, but I still think it needs time to settle on the $15k mark for weeks, if not months, before renewing an attempt to previous ATH.
It does seem like a pretty decent time to get into some more alts for a quick turnover though. Waves hasn't been at 75k satoshi for weeks, for example.

I agree. I think Bitcoin is slowly raising now after its price stabilized after a couple of days. I'm excited to see it raising to $20k rate very soon!
Bitcoin has just been holding on for the last week and altcoins have been gaining some terrain. Obviously this won't last forever and as you can see on the last couple of days bitcoin is starting to rise, i have a feeling that it will slowly keep going up surpassing the 20k mark once again, but keeping the stability this time.
Every new day brings the creation of many new coins that were once known as tokens. These coins are being known as altcoins. Every altcoin is striving towards the rise of the new technologies that it brings to the world. Bitcoin was the first coin and because of that, it gained most popularity. Bitcoin is the reason why all of the other altcoins came into existence. We can freely say that Bitcoin is kind of an "idol" to the altcoins. Crypto market is fluctuating a lot and we can all see the ups and downs of our favorite coin - Bitcoin. Altcoins are trying to make the push u to the top and investors are the ones that are supporting the certain coin rise. With the altcoins rise right now it is the best time to invest in the Bitcoin cause by the end of this year I believe it will prove us its power with the surprising value growth and all others that have doubted in its supremacy will be regretful because of that.

When altcoin went crazy, I would buy BTC, and BTC would go up and tell them who was the boss.

When altcoin went crazy, I would buy BTC, and BTC would go up and tell them who was the boss. Yes, this can be one of the best ways to make money in the world of cryptocurrency. Right now, alts are raging so high and I am not actually complaining because I am also holding some alts from my bounty campaigns and I guess we also have to give these coins/tokens the time to be in the limelight. However, Bitcoin remains to be the King of the Cryptos and even if many would like to knock it down it will take a lot of time for any other coin to overtake Bitcoin much more so if soon Bitcoin will start to surge again. Maybe the best thing to happen is if alts are surging and so does Bitcoin...which is not traditionally what happened in the past when Bitcoin was gaining while alts were losing their value.
