It is better to invest in old coin coins that are in the top market cap because new coins are less convincing. You also have to trade in a place that is really crowded with market activity, the volume movements will definitely be more active.

This is the best time to invest in alt coins or bitcoin. Prices are slightly above the all time lows and market is steadily coming out of the bearish phase. Once it gains the speed you won't get a chance to jump in. You can do your analysis regarding the coin you want to invest and set up your portfolio. Indeed IEO has gave lots of people intrigued again to investing in new project after lots of ICO project made them lost huge money. But I think IEO just worth for short term investment, I mean when the token has been listed on the exchange then the investor must sell their coin and find some IEO project again. Look at the ICO project if the token has been listed then the coin will fall even just a little price instead whe ICO take a place.

I'd highly recommend, if you have a regular income from a job, that you look into buying shares which can receive dividends over time. Stick with small yields and the biggest companies in the world, plus it has a benefit over time that your dividend yield will grow. You need to invest for at least five years though and lock your money into the market.

If you want to have a safe investment then choose only the top altcoins. But I would recommend these: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

As for me, I would never include Ripple in this list as soon as it is not a real cryptocurrency. I am going to invest more money into Ethereum: this altcoin seems to be the most profitable one.

for buying and selling.
When we speak about crypto-currencies I think it`s great time for investing, this is in some hand early stage. Many new things are coming out,
Bitcoin and other top coins are making good progress. Waiting for prices to grow and than to invest is bad business.
