ETH is now in an extremely low position. How good is the idea to buy it now?
Buying Ethereum right now would be more better, the price of it is much lower and it is good to hodl until its price would be up for a comeback. If you have a big funds, buying a lot of ethereum would be a good move, it will surely give you profits when the bullish market comes, we don't know when it will happen but this bearish market we are experiencing for almost a year already would not be forever.
We all can't wait for it, because we want to gain the profits that we once lost when the bearish market hits us and did some panic selling in return, or maybe we sold out coins because we don't have a choice or else we will starve to death.
Right now, Ethereum has tried to take a position in the market, and Ethereum is increasing than yesterday. But I am not sure that if Ethereum can break $200 in a short time because bitcoin still searching a new price to increase. Ethereum still has a chance to rise higher in the future. I wonder what will happen after the update of ethereum release in the next year. But I hope that after that update, it will help the price to increase and we will see it reach the highest price again.
Same with Bitcoin halving that update from ETH can be a turning point for another run, anticipating good outcome from version 2.0 and how the updates will attract more adoptions and more investors to buy and use this coin, current value is far from the last time high and if you are planning for long term investment without any doubts this can be done as a good asset to hold. Good research will backed up any decision that you'll gonna take in terms of selecting your invested assets.

In a long term nobody can say what will happen, we all know that bitcoin has more chances to be faster growing coin, and majority believes in that.

I align my views along with you. BTC is more safe than Ethereum. I have seen this in my earlier days here in crypto community. Ethereum is struggling now with tron.
Tron has now the most 2nd decentralized Daaps, just behind ETH by 50. Daaps are utility that adds value to the mother cryptocurrency by making its uses.
The day tron will take over Ethereum, things will change but BTC will still be BTC: The king.

Even ethereum are in extremely low position it is still good to buy simply because it has great future and aside from is it one of the strongest cryptocurrency in market. It is really hard to think about what could ETH has to prove that this coin is much worthy and capable of to soar high more than a thing that Bitcoin can do in the future. We know much Bitcoin can do better which I can't see that ETH could have it. If we think carefully and base on the market flows, it all just be the same as holding BTC all the time. ETH drops as BTC drops also, what it makes the change? It is just nothing, we have already a good profit in BTC why we should risk it with ETH.

In fact, it may be worth to move an insignificant part of your cryptoholdings to Ethereum (if you hadn't done so already) as we can expect some hype prior to Ethereum 2.0 release, which is scheduled to occur in January 2020. But then we shouldn't forget about the Bitcoin halving to come a few months later which should have an even more pronounced effect on Bitcoin's price (read, there should be more powerful price action). In other words, we will likely see a roller coaster in the coming months, and if you manage to time the market, it could pay back handsomely. Just my perspective, do your own due diligence at all times

It is not really such a bad idea to exchange your bitcoin to ethereum but you need to always have a plan in case things do not go according to your plan, as you can see the demand in the market of cryptocurrencies is going down and that is why we saw such a huge crash just a few days ago, but if the price of bitcoin begins to crash even more I have no doubts that altcoins will follow the same pattern and I think they could fall even faster than bitcoin.So you need to watch the markets very closely and at the first sign of trouble you should exchange your ethereum back to bitcoin, but if you are not confident that the market will recover quickly enough you could try to get fiat instead.

Yeah pretty great idea mate, observe, monitor, wait the orght timing before buying to make good decisions about this current drops of crypto currency, at this moment both coins are in dumping wait for the signal when the price become great. Just and be patience to make decision better.

Low position will not guarantee you can make profit, if go more deep bankrupt will be yours. Analysis first and use your experience to decide which one should I take as my strategy, buy now or wait again?. For me ETH can go down again because this time already reach second top bottom, one more reached I will buy. I use MACD for direction ( day - week ) but to enter MA is better ( standard position ), money management still use piramida. Stay calm and good luck to you.
