idk if what is the performance of btc on the year 2016 , you didnt include it but better if you did so that people like me will know anyway all eyes are now on ltc ever since that ltc moved on the 4th rank due to the fudding that happened on xrp .

ltc is expected to pump in the coming days so it will be a bad idea if you sell or convert your ltc to other coin thesedays but im not saying that bch isnt a good coin . we can buy bch seperately if we really wanted to

Time to convert your LTC into BCH - I see BCH may follow Bitcoin as of 2016

It is time to convert your LTC in to Bitcoin Cash, It looks like Bitcoin Cash is more volatile than Bitcoin. I am taking Bitcoin Cash as bitcoin in 2016. I don't claim that Bitcoin Cash will really follow the Bitcoin momentum but it is more volatile than bitcoin so anything is possible to happen.

I prefer holding my Litecoin than trading it to Bitcoincash, litecoin has a good potential than BitcoinCash and why dump Litecoin for Bitcoincash are you a hater of litecoin, you can have both because they are part of the top coins in the market, I prefer holding them both, if there's coins that I am going to trade for Bitcoincash, it's new coins that is not performing better in the market.

BCH is a coin to make money in the short term, while litecoin will be the long term for making money for me.
Ethereum will be the first altcoin that I need to have BCH instead because I believe ethereum will have its chance to increase higher.
I do not want to convert litecoin into BCH, but I will invest in more litecoin amount to make a profit from litecoin.
But BCH can give me a good profit if the price can increase like the other coins. So if that can happen in this year, I will be happy to see my BCH and of course, I will sell my litecoin.

No way to convert anything to Bitcoin Cash.

In the past 6 months, BCH lost 50% of its Bitcoin value and the trend continues even in these unique bull times. Ether and Polka have much better perspectives.

If you think that you need to convert your alts or Litecoin then the best coin is always bitcoin and not its fork if you are looking for profit, then the decision is all yours as it is your money and investment and there are other coins as well that could rally as well.
I am not following the development of BCH but if you think that the investors will pour their money you need to have a reason and i would like to know about that.

LTC is more safe for me to hold as a long-term asset compared with BCH and other BCH forking coins. What could BCH rely on if their CEO always said he was Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto but has no proof? If the CEO is dishonest, then why you believe in a project like this? Are you ready to lost your many when someday this coin being abandoned by their team members..

Bitcoin Cash is just one of the most problematic coins to me. Highly centralized, has a really bad reputation that actually gets worse with every split. It has proven to be wrong, its supporters also split camp and the only ones using it are miners are board members. Probably just to mine for miners and make profit nothing else.

follow bitcoin? I didn't hear
maybe I think LTC has better potential than BCH. Instead of having to convert LTC to BCH, it's better to LTC to BTC. because apart from that, BCH is still not very guarantee in the long term. value and history is very far between LTC and BCH. so I think you need to rethink it.

It’s not just only BCH, Ethereum is another good cryptocurrency that will definitely grow in the near future, I have seen how the price has been growing, more than some other altcoins that correlates with Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash reached around $500 in January and fell back around March and now it’s finding it difficult to reach that $500, while right now Ethereum is more than $700.

But, I noticed something else and that’s that these altcoins are not moving up like they did when Bitcoin reached a new ATH in 2017, because the cryptocurrencies really pumped in price now, but now Bitcoin is growing and they are still very far from it.

No, thank you.
I'll stay with LTC for now.
Never supported BCH anyway. LTC is more unique to me when I look at roots rather than BCH that is like being controlled by the back office.  Grin
Just intrigued at where did you get this idea.
Kind of blasted out of nowhere.

I think it's not right to compare Litecoin with BitcoinCash. Both perform very well. Having an investment of both brings us profit. If I have to choose between the two, I would choose Litecoin  Undecided

Is not it BCH and LTC were the same? both were getting increase when bitcoin has pumped and otherwise. I see no point to convert litecoin to the BCH or BCH to the litecoin. Both were having a similar pattern and The pump for both already happened.
Litecoin was also following bitcoin too. Almost all of the crypto was being pumped as the impact of the bitcoin bullish trend. Didn't wanna argue about both of the coin too much consider BCH and LTC are still experimental coins.

One of the things I think you should know currently is that, a lot has changed this time around and the current price growth of Bitcoin is a prove to that, that is, much attention are on it and a selected number of altcoins, which means that, there is every possiblity that BCH can't perform as before because people have known much and understood much as well.
Therefore, in my own opinion, comparing BCH and LTC, there is a very big gap between them, LTC on one hand is a reputed altcoin from a trusted team but same cannot be said of BCH, that is, it is plaqued with many bad reviews. Hence, I find it worthwhile holding on to LTC than BCH whose future is not heading to anywhere.

So many books, so little time
Who said you that bitcoin cash is centralized? any centralized currency can never be adopted by paypal

For more information
Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash is a different story. Bitcoin Cash was started by bitcoin miners and developers equally concerned with the future of the cryptocurrency and its ability to scale effectively. However, these individuals had their reservations about the adoption of a segregated witness technology. They felt as though SegWit2x did not address the fundamental problem of scalability in a meaningful way, nor did it follow the roadmap initially outlined by Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous party that first proposed the blockchain technology behind cryptocurrency. Furthermore, the process of introducing SegWit2x as the road forward was anything but transparent, and there were concerns that its introduction undermined the decentralization and democratization of the currency.

In August 2017, some miners and developers initiated what is known as a hard fork, effectively creating a new currency: BCH. BCH has its own blockchain and specifications, including one very important distinction from bitcoin. BCH has implemented an increased block size of 8 MB to accelerate the verification process, with an adjustable level of difficulty to ensure the chain’s survival and transaction verification speed, regardless of the number of miners supporting it.6

Bitcoin Cash is thus able to process transactions more quickly than the Bitcoin network, meaning that wait times are shorter and transaction processing fees tend to be lower. The Bitcoin Cash network can handle many more transactions per second than the Bitcoin network can. However, with the faster transaction verification time comes downsides as well. One potential issue with the larger block size associated with BCH is that security could be compromised relative to the Bitcoin network. Similarly, bitcoin remains the most popular cryptocurrency in the world as well as the largest by market cap, so users of BCH may find that liquidity and real-world usability is lower than for bitcoin.

The debate about scalability, transaction processing and blocks has continued beyond the fork which led to Bitcoin Cash. In November of 2018, for example, the Bitcoin Cash network experienced its own hard fork, resulting in the creation of yet another derivation of bitcoin called Bitcoin SV. Bitcoin SV was created in an effort to stay true to the original vision for bitcoin that Satoshi Nakamoto described in the bitcoin white paper while also making modifications to facilitate scalability and faster transaction speeds.7

The debate about the future of bitcoin appears to show no signs of being resolved.

Lol! LTC is an individual altcoin whereas BCash is an impostor! So if you really want to get into a coin that uses the domain bitcoin.com to fake its identity, please go ahead! But I believe a majority of the fellow forum members will refrain from doing so! Yes, Bcash can be used as a trading tool, but for longer term, I think LTC is a better choice! You never know, BCash can be taken down by FED just the way they have done it with XRP! Both are centralized coins and investigating agencies can hook the impostor owner of BCash in a Similar way! So don't jump into a conclusion so early!

Although, Charlie makes the community to distrust LTC through his regrettable decision a couple of years ago but that doesn't make BCH also a better investment choice because Ver wasn't an honest individual and a professional manipulator and scammer either which make every momentum posed by BCH not to be trusted or used as an investment decision.
Nevertheless, every good coin will have in the market will follow Bitcoin market momentum next year not only BCH and I don't any reason whatsoever for you to compare BTC and BCH.

You been here on this forum since 2017. Have you ever seen on how the community do see about BCH or their perception towards it? If you do then you wont really be having these kind of words.
Bitcoin cash had several issues not on the project or the coin features itself but into its owner where deceiving out the public that real bitcoin is BCH and no the core.

Try to look out into their own site telling that BCH is the real bitcoin https://news.bitcoin.com/12-reasons-bitcoin-cash-real-bitcoin/
Do you really think that people would fall into such BS? I dont really support up this project.

BCH is good to buy for this frenzy bull season. It has potential to give greater return than LTC. But for the sake of portfolio diversification, I would still hold some little LTC.

Not a good advise.

I'd convert if ever I have LTC into BTC.

In that strategy, you're more favorable with the market. Bitcoin's dominance won't stop. Or least it will still be around if the bull run would go slowly.

We are not in 2016 and besides LTC is ahead in BCH in terms marketcap so why other will  exchange their LTC to BCH? Maybe from other coins but not from LTC this is an old coins with a porpuse unlike BCH which is only a fork of Bitcoin.  I remember way back when they fork it the price of each BCH is around 0.1 something in BTC and at the first launch it's almost half of the price of Bitcoin did anything change for BCH after many years ? Other than they are always making a fork to make money on it.
