The market is bleeding too much so I think it would be good enough to wait for some time before you decide when to fill your bags. And as an advice, always buy when there is a flat graph. Do not enter when there is a sharp drop or sharp rise in price because you may be rekt mercilessly. I am hopeful that altcoins will rise very soon but you shouldn't rush into buying now as BTC hasn't finished correcting.

Altcoins decided to wait for their own bull run probably. I will buy some of them but concentrate this time on a few ones only. These alts will be Tron, Icon, Ethereum, OmiseGO, Zcash, and NEM. Suppose, they will be gainers.

The strategy is good only if you are willing to hold for the long term and you pick up solid coins in the process, if you do not follow those two guidelines you will lose money, just look at most altcoins now, even if they have appreciated in value against the dollar when you see their movements in bitcoin you will see that most of those coins have lost value, so an investment in altcoins has been a losing proposition during most of this bull market. That's right what you say that altcoin is still weak when the price of bitcoin has skyrocketed. But we can make this an opportunity to buy altcoins at prices that can still be reached. We can start investing now. But we must also be selective in buying altcoins. We better buy potential and promising altcoins (top 20 altcoins). I'm sure this altcoin will soon increase following the increase in bitcoin which is getting more stable above. The most important thing is that we must calm down and strategize properly.

Well, as for me it is better to be ready than sorry. Try to do one step.at a time but in consistent manner. We can cope up easily if we take a lead. At the same time, it will not hurt is so much in investing a huge amount of money in one drop. Start now on investing in BTC and Altcoins, I am sure that there is a bigger bag waiting for us to fill. It seems too early to start feeling bags now because I'm still not confused that this bullrun will be around for longer, there will be enough time for buying altcoins again and remember that we still have halving coming in 2020 ,no reason to rush
yes yes!! buy more!! BTC went down 16,2%. And people continue dumping coins into the market. As well as a lot of new miners in huge farms dumping their coins to pay bills. Continue, continue investing. But then, don't cry when the market goes as bloody as today.
You say just like my friend, who bought ripple for $ 3 in 2017 because it allegedly entered into partnership agreements with banks and they had to use xrp for their transactions 
he then sold it for half a dollar and now reacts painfully for every cryptocurrency news and dreams that this "financial pyramid" (he thinks so) would quickly collapse. Altcoins are a great opportunity to make money, and I think now is the right time to buy some them.
Yes, you can do that. But one thing you must always remember in market conditions like this is to keep holding or choosing altcoins in the top ranks in the marketcap because then we will feel more calm in holding the altcoin.
