many people who make long-term investments are disappointed because they have waited so long but the price of coins has not gone up, so, for now, short-term investments are more profitable in my opinion, even though the profit we get is relatively small.
it depends on the coins you invest, if you invest only in the top coins and hold them for the long term in my opinion it's not that risky it's just that you need extra patience because each team certainly needs time for further development related to the project. another story if you plan for the short term, then you can do on the top exchanges and choose coins with large volumes.

A portion of my tokens are useless in light of my drawn out holding of tokens in my wallet because of expecting a greater cost in the future.Long expression hold and momentary hold are two diverse procedure however you can generally change your system as indicated by the situation.looking for data prior to purchasing a coin,Now about planning by and large, really it makes a difference just in new activities subsequently purchasing early will give higher freedom to hold and sell when in Profit.

Me too, i think it is useless to hold the tokens for long time if the token itself is a trash token/shit token.
We should know whether the project is good enough for us to hold their token in our wallet, otherwise the token will become the decoration only in our wallet. So, the timing to holding is important, but the more important is the quality of the project.

To survive in a long or short period of time it depends on the situation of the coin or token price in the market, if it is inversely proportional then we should not hold a coin. It is different if the coin has a high selling value in the future.

Usually it’s up to currency if you will hold it for 5 years or for 1 month. I change my strategy according to the situation. Some coins I can take for the long term. It's about mainstream currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum. I have to be patient to make money on them.
But some coins I buy for short-term holding and I will sell them as soon as their trend changes. For example,it was good to buy meme coins in spring because of fast income, or now I buy tokens of NFT-games while there is a hype around this sphere.

A lot people argue about if it is better to hodl on the long term or the short term neglecting the most important thing.
The timing with which you have to hodl your tokens or investment is very important, to ensure you do not rekt.

For every token, there is a time to hodl, and time not too, figure out the timing before investment.

Agree, one of good strategy mate is on how to trigger and get the right timing of the coin or token you've invested. Just focus on the token movement in the crypto market, observe it well and make a move "buy low sell high" motto. We know cryptomarket is unpredictable but its better and more practical to do those stratedgic thing than do nothing at all.

in a market situation like now, we must be clever in seeing opportunities that exist, if the investment is more profitable in the short term then we do not need to wait for a long time to sell altcoin that we have.

The time that we hold our cryptocurrency primarily depends on the cryptocurrency itself, the prospects of its project. Some coins or tokens can be held for a long time, others only for a certain time, after which it will be correct to sell it. Of course, the top ten coins listed in CoinM will always be preferable for long-term holding due to the fact that they already have a high level of capitalization. As for the rest of the cryptocurrencies, as practice shows, it is necessary to observe the growth and development of projects, the cryptocurrency of which we hold, in order to make the necessary decisions on time.

Timing how long you intend to hold a cryptocurrency you have invested in is just as important as deciding on which cryptocurrency to invest in because the way price moves in the market is up and down, even in a trending market. If you just hold a coin without selling in the very long term you may see some very good gains in terms of profit made. But this cannot be compared to what you will make it you sold off when the prices are at record highs and then buying back when the price has dumped a bit. This is where timing comes in, timing is important to make more profit from investing in this space

The holding is important to achieving ideal returns. It is important to follow the development of the project to consider whether to continue keeping them or not. To ensure optimally profitable holdings you need to spread your money to buy at times of lowest price. The better your entry point, the better your chances of making a big profit.
You are right. Momentum, when we get into an investment, is what determines whether we will have a chance to make a profit or not.
because what we can now know in investing is of course the easiest is to buy when it is cheap and hold it until the price becomes expensive. that's our simple thinking.
in fact, there is no such complex planning. But examining the market and determining the momentum to sell is also important. all that we can do wisely and there is no need to rush.
I will always believe in crypto saying "but at red, sell at green" simple statement but it requires enough knowledge to fully understand technically. Timing is a key virtue especially if you are a full-time trader and holder, some people became rich because of their ability to know the right timing of selling. One thing is sure, experience and enough knowledge are required to acquire the right skills in crypto market.

I prefer to struggle in the long term on Bitcoin and Ethereum to store and invest. I always avoid buying coins/tokens from ICO projects because some tokens are worthless in the long term and tend to be thrown away when listed in just a few hours

Early investors and presales and private sales are the most profitable in the crypto industry. Now our crypto industry is matured and it is not so hard to identify and scam projects. So just use your knowledge and time before investing in a new project. BTC is good for the long run but it will minimize your chance to increase your portfolio when the new project can give 10X to 100X in few months.

I agree to that. I believe the timing at which any investor buys in and decides to hodl has a great impact on the period and the amount of profits you make with your investment. Imagine someone buying in at ATH, now you will have to hold through the bears and back to the bulls and past your initial price of entry before you can make profit and this is when you even invested in the right project as well and if you didnt loss your patience before time.

I agree with that but probably most people or this thing hold will always work when it comes to Bitcoin and Ethereum because just looking at the supply and demand of for example bitcoin it makes sense for the market price to increase over the years.

For most investors, there are some that would go for a long term investment because they probably don't have time to manage their investment compared to a daily trader or something where he could do a lot of research and at the same time sell some altcoins in the market make a profit and then buy again when the price is a dump or buy back bitcoin probably.

I guess one of the problems that I see here most of the time is people do not realize that the money needs to flow in the market and 1 token or altcoin, for example, will not just continue to pump and pump until it reaches the moon except bitcoin of course, but the point is when it pumps so high there will be a big dump after that.

I agree with you. There is a good time to invest in everything. And the one who can determine it in the right way will be successful. You have to think about everything before buying any token. That requires a lot of research. But it is better to hodl it for a long time.

by now the long term hold and short hold strategies are outdated to be able to get a good profit from our coins we have to follow the market changes every day and sell at the right time (timing)

it's a good strategy. But, when you want to earn more, although it is more risky, you will start considering other types of investments.

I believe all investors have to be dynamic with their approach to investing in crypto projects, and this is because not all the same principles that work with offchain projects will be applicable to Blockchain and crypto projects
Its okay to cash he your stance on a project, you can decide yo hold short term, long term and change your stance when you see how the project has progressed.
I personally look for valuable coins that i can buy and conveniently hold long term, but i am always ready to sell if i no longer believe that the project will reach its goals.

Long or short term depending on the investor, if the investor is a beginner then the long term is better, if the professional investor will usually use both, the short term when the development of the coin is slow and the long term when knowing the potential of the coin being held.
Usually the coins that are held for the long term are major coins that are ranked in the top 50 of the market cap.
