I used to gamble a lot starting from 2005. I will share some useful tips for a newbie gamblers.

In some cases bookie might return only your bet amount and refuse to pay winnings.
• Do not be fooled by some kinds of "Super Promotions" like "Place multi bet that will include not less that 4 positions with minimal odd 1.4 and if only one position loose we will return you the half amount of the bet" Multiply bets gives a big advantage to bookmaker because the possibility of win in case of 4 multi bets is equal to 20% or even less. Also avoid any kind of bonuses, because if you will accept them, you will find out that 4 rollovers bets are required to get 100% of offered bonus. Any promotion or bonuses offered by bookmakers are nothing but a way to force you loose more of your money.
• Avoid playing slots, because all slot games are pre-programmed to 80/20% in the bookies favor.
• Avoid to accept so called casino bonuses that are offered by bookmakers, that have integrated casinos, in addition to sports betting. Because, some of them can actually confiscate any money you try to withdraw before you will satisfy the bonus “terms and conditions”
• Sometimes you may see that all poker tables are busy or a lot of players are online playing different games. Don't be fooled. A lot of bookies are using pre-programmed bots to create a fake buzz and make you believe that a lot of gamblers are betting big amount of money and their platform is very popular.

This should be added as a tip for newbies. I wonder why this is not added in the op. This kind of tip will help newbies why they should read the terms and conditions. Reading the terms and conditions of a casino or bookies would help newbies what rules that newbies should obey and what to avoid.

To summarize these tips, you shouldn't be greedy and you should never expect too much. Have it for fun and entertainment but you should always set a limit.

[1] You should read their T & C for the website, if they need to verify the account first before deposit and withdrawal and you feel not really confertable you can skip the site so you don't waste a time register to their site. Also if you cant find it, some gambling platform have a chatroom went we can ask their service without making an account. Just chat them asking about the term.

^ Definitely right, just saying this and no offense but I find it stupid when people are getting serious in gambling. At the point where he stated that you should invest your money in gambling, I laughed hard.

Gambling is made for fun but the player abuse their capacity to hold on their patience ..

I agree gambling its not bad at all its depends on how you manage your loses and wins. If you have goal while enjoying then you never have regret moment even you lose. Have goal is the key know your limit and stop if really needed, or should i say rest for a while if you lose continuously then come back again when you ready.

Gambling won't ruin your life unless you don't know your own limitation and you allow greediness to take control of your decision making. The impact of gambling on your life depends on how you make your choices and actions. The problem is some gamblers do not think the possible outcomes before risking their funds that's why they lose and then end up doing the same mistake by playing the same game with the thought that they can get back the money they have lost but since they allow it to be a foundation of their decision, they end up losing again.

Those are nice tips but how about don't even try it because they could get addicted or it could ruined their life.
But if they really want to try it and they could control their self then the only tip that I could give is try to enjoy it and don't be greedy.

Very important for a new gambler I agree that you know when to stop, because gambling is such a difficult addiction it does not hurt you so much that it makes you feel bad but with time it will get worse like it did for me but thankfully i was not into too much of a trouble.

Some tips for a new gambler or a newbie

- Try to always withdraw your money, no matter how much you won unless you have withdrawn the money is still not yours.

- Make sure you find a day in the week where you do some self check by making sure you are not loosing too much be it money or time!

Well, apart from that some basics like never gamble on a casino that sounds too good to be true and read out all terms for the bonuses being offered.

Most gamblers should play gambling seriously because I am really sure that most of them have the intention to win gambling and it means for money. Only a few gamblers that really play just for fun.
