If you gamble since 2005 I don't think you are a newbie but you ain't a veteran too like you see them in the bookies across your street so I can't give you any good tips besides gamble moderate and never chase your loses as you will end up losing more but hey if you have fun gamble and you do it under small circumstances its nice.

Other tips would be to stick to what you're good at and don't change to other leagues if you're gambling but you can always change the house whatever you're playing into.

Yes Gambling Addiction is a big problem. There are a lot of gamble treatment centers, but I highly doubt that it is treatable.

I regards to number one, I guess that is one of reasons (or the reason) why people's account get locked or something when they win huge amounts on gambling sites? And that's probably due to the kyc limits placed on withdrawal of huge wins?

A lot of these online casinos have sneaky "terms and conditions" as they call it, that would hinder you from withdrawing your money once you won in their platform. And if you're not careful enough to read and understand these messages, you'll have nothing against them since you "agreed" on their misleading terms. We also can't do pretty much anything about it since they are not regulated that much, and predatpry acts like these are always done.

Great tip there, a huge number of people get caught out by this.

However, it should be noted that there are also a huge number of platforms that simply don't require verification. It's best to stick with these, rather than potentially deal with the KYC hassle later.

There is a concept known as matched betting, whereby you basically accept promotions on multiple different websites in such a way that it's literally impossible to lose money. If this promotion arbitrage is possible, then it's worth taking up the offers.

^ Both of you are right, but 99% sure most gamblers did not read the TOS before depositing their fund. Even me, usually the FAQ is easy to summarize all your queries and concern. Reading 1-2 pages of TOS is kinda wasting of time, the first place to go is FAQ. Nevertheless, OP has a great tip and not just only for newbies there are also people did not know this tip yet. Knowing the rules and regulations from the gambling site will avoid you from possible trouble in the future.
