for the long term I only dare to hold BTC and some other coins like ETH and BNB. and for other coins I only collect them for medium term investment. I collect with the DCA Method. and sell it using the DCA method. so that under any market conditions I can still make a profit. but as a newbie of course I often can't stop myself from rushing to buy when there's hype. but I have friends who always advise me about crypto so I rarely encounter losses.

If you make regular investments every month or every time you receive a paycheck from work, it is a very good choice and it is a DCA like the first one I invested in that only relies on a monthly salary that has been set aside.
do it after you meet all your needs from your salary and the rest you invest, and I prioritize bitcoin and some altcoins after doing some research especially the top altcoins.
Yes your decision is right but definitely choose good currency to invest Always pay attention to coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB to invest in.There are many people I have seen investing in different ALT coins that are completely risky.Never take any risk in your investment, definitely invest in coins that dominate the market. And investing is basically good for me, I'm always in investment, I always think of exiting early if I get a profit.I don't hold anything long term for big profit. I am always happy with small profits and leave.Because of which I have always benefited from investments.

For me mining is difficult but I found GMT Token and by holding it you are getting your certain part of processing power, which mines btc directly from the pool. Then you're connecting your wallet and getting btc there daily. APR is 24%. What do you think?
This is where I think it becomes the most risky. Investing in mining projects doesn't make sense to me at all.I have seen many mining projects where there is a lot of APR but the number of coins you buy and mine but then the price gets dumped a lot. Here I can definitely say Bitcoin Ethereum BNB to invest long term There are also some other coins that you can invest in for long term. And it will be a little less risky for newbies because all these coins will take much better positions in the future.

However many newbies with constrained capacity will choose other currencies (altcoins) that are less expensive than bitcoin. Newbies to the bitcoin market must deal with this reality. The problem resides in the instruction or persuasion that newcomers obtain to acquire shitcoin, even though there are legitimate altcoins on the market at low prices that we may use to make long-term investment assets. Beginners in the cryptocurrency market need to have self-control and never let other people or promises of tremendous wealth from investing in shitcoin influence them.

Right know I'm heavily focused on accumulating as much Eth as I can. I'm almost at the goal I've set for myself in terms of how much I'd like to have before investing in another coin, since I've started investing again a short while ago. Next up I'd like to stack some ADA and BTC of course. But I can't help but wonder is accumulating ETH and ADA the right move right now? Or should I be more invested in BTC in terms of potential long-term returns?
I think Bitcoin and then Ether are very effective for long term investment. Last year we saw many experts predict that if Bitcoin stayed above $100K, Ether would be at $25K. So I think Ether could be a good investment. There are also other altcoins that you can invest especially if you invest in both BNB and ADA both of the two can give you good returns in the long term investment.
Bitcoin price history we can see and the price of ethereum has an attachment to the price of bitcoin, when the price of bitcoin goes down and up then the price is affected. for a newbie, it is best to choose a reputable cryptocurrency and bitcoin, ethereum and bnb are good recommendations.

Ethereum is undoubtedly a coin worth investing in. If someone has no experience about investment then it is forbidden to invest without knowing anything about the project in the market. But Ethereum is a project that you can invest without analysis. So for those who are new, now is the time to invest in Ethereum.
some coins are easy for us to invest in, especially for long-term planning. assets such as ETH and BTC, I think there is no doubt, even without analysis for a long-term plan we can buy at any time. and in the future, the results will still be felt.
There's no need to worry about bear markets because history tells us. this market will keep changing with the bull trend and alternate with the bear market. we just need to be patient and make a good plan.

Ethereum is the best among the coins that pumped the most after the market crashed twice recently. Those who want to invest in new marketing should definitely invest in coins above the coin market cap. If Ethereum can be invested in these coins, there will be a possibility of huge profits in the future.

If someone is new in crypto trading so i will suggest that you should invest in coin for lengthy time period because newbies has not such a good experience and day trading  can be not such beneficial for newbies. Long term investment can be useful as it overcome the chances of losing money and you will surely gain advantage out of it.

Most of the time I see that newbies who enter the world of crypto trading are mostly lacking in knowledge here, and only rely on what others are saying who give opinions here without even double checking if the opinions are correct or not. that he read, so in the end they often go home in tears because their investment is also dissolved because of this matter. That's why if you are a beginner you should just start with spot trading first. and while you are a beginner it is better to choose the altcoins that are good in the long term apart from Bitcoin it is also good to choose Matic, Bnb, Xrp, and UTK for my own opinion as long as you always use DYOR (do your own research).

a good long-term investment that must be able to have the right position when buying,
if you buy crypto currency in the wrong position then your investment will be really risky,
because we know the volatility and uncertainty of cryptocurrency prices are very high

Yes! you are correct dude, it should be always do it in the right timing when we do buy or sell in the market.
However, we still need to sensitive in the movement of the assets we have in the exchange of course. So that,
we can use the volatility for us to gain in the future as well even though there is risk on doing this matter anyway.

Having a job first before investing is necessary so that we have a sufficient capital of course and then we won't hurry to sell only to have a cash because we already have some (thanks or our job) but even if we already have a job, it is still not advisable to put all your funds or your salary in cryptos because how you are going to pay your bills and how you are going to eat if you do that?

If only the price can pump the next day after we put our money then why not? But in reality, that's not how things work here but investing usually takes time for your money to grow. Bitcoin is not a stable coin but eth and alts are although btc still can work well in a long term investment.

I think it should be emphasized more often about having one or several sources of income before comfortably venturing into investing. Having several sources of income would greatly boost your finances and you would have some little money to comfortably and safely invest with. And even with several sources of income, it’s wise and kinda safer to spread and diversify your investments and not having to put a whole lot on a single investment. You could very well incur a loss even with due diligence on the investment.

Long-term investment in my opinion is very risky for newbies, not even for newbies either, but all of them,
because in the very high volatility crypto market, our capital can be liquidated, there is a way that we can avoid that,
by eliminating greed in trading.
Crypto currency always unstable and highly volatile. One cannot imagine and predict future development, features and conditions. So if the newbies want to engage themselves in trading or investment, then just understand the market conditions and invest a small amount of dollars so that the amount of loss is less. Then as experience is gained you will be well placed to make larger investments.
You could always be having the option on what things you should gonna do and it would really be depending on your goal or interest because when we are still a noob then we are thinking
about making active trades so that we could really make money in shortest time as possible and on the time that we are suffering negatives then this is where we do end up on holding
instead or simply making it as an investment which we dont really have any choice rather than on making yourself do make some panic selling which we know that it wont really be that worth.
Invest on things which you do see that it does have potential.Just dont make yourself to get influenced by other speculations around.

With the upcoming upgrade of Ethereum and turning into proof of stake, what you're doing is timely and a good strategy. After that, you choose bitcoin.

Otherwise, it's always a good choice to have these top 1 and top 2 in the market but as what everyone will tell you to do, you should put bigger stack with bitcoin.

Well, I congratulate you OP for having this strategy because the most newbies that I see ask such questions, they're asking about some random altcoins/shitcoins they want to invest that they were interested with.
I do agree, it's clear to me that not many people totally understand what it means to make a good investment when they are talking about long term investment. I have seen people who think doge or shiba as a great long term investment for example and that just makes me laugh.

But, when we are talking about ethereum and similar stuff then it makes it so much better and easier. That's of course because ETH is actually a good project that has a great development team while staying decentralized because it asks people if we want that development or not, and proof of stake will be an amazing one and we are going to profit from it when the time comes, hence why I am holding ethereum for a very long time.

First off, it’s good to see that you have a job and is now interested in investing in the crypto market. I’m happy to see you’ve got a job cause I’m my opinion, it isn’t advisable to put all your funds into believing you’re going to make a huge profit from investments. You should only invest with spare money and I’m glad you aren’t using all your fiat into investing.
If you’re interested in investing into coins, I think it’s obvious you should invest in the more stable coin (bitcoin). You say you already have a fair amount of ethereum saved. That’s fairly good. Now you could save up on your btc as well and in the long run, you’re sure to have some good return on investment

Looks like another Both or team of Shiller that is throwing a lot for this GMT project , there are several thread and newbie accounts that continues posting this same post since morning.

Zoom out the charts and you'll see that the most rewarded investors are the long term investors. Well, you don't count if you're an impatient investor and get to sell at most times when the market isn't doing good. But overall, look at the charts and it will speak for itself that it's very rewarding when you're a long term holder. Still, you'll have your own share of being short term or long term in the market and the most important thing here is that you gain experience.
I dont know where did he get that belief , when we have seen many early adopters in which who keep holding that are now Millionaires if not Billionaires .

Crypto market is known for it's assets volatility, It's a normal behavior of most cryptocurrency to be volatile. I don't know why you tell us that the capital can be liquidated if we take long term investment path, As far as I know you can only be liquidated if you are doing leverage trading. If you continue to accumulate crypto as your investment, The value of it won't be liquidated as long as you choose the right type of crypto to buy. It's much easier and safer compared to trading that requires knowledge and effort to do. In my opinion long term investment is always a go to for newbies as long as they choose the right type of coin to purchase.
Volatile on the first place and this is where we do make money but choosing carelessly would really lead you to demise or total disaster thats why you should really be careful on taking decisions.Doesnt matter if you

are a newbie or not, you are still prone to mistakes but the main difference into those people who do have experience does know on what to do on these kind of situations.

Long term investing is something a very common to be done when you are unsure on dealing with volatility on active manner but there are people
who are really a fan on dealing with volatility and plays with it.
