You should only use the amount of money that you can afford to lose, so that when it is gone, you don't have to worry and start thinking of chasing your losses.

You should also set a time limit for your gambling activities, so that you don't gamble all the time but only during your gambling hour. Once the time that you set is over, your should stop gambling either when you are winning or losing.

See gamble as fun and entertainment, so that you would not think that gambling is a means of making profit or earning a living, so that you don't start chasing your losses due to letting yourself get controlled by your emotions.

The most important thing is to have a gambling budget. If you have gambling budget, you will know the percentage of money that you put into gambling. I for example, I use not more than 5% of my weekly income to gamble and it can not be more than that.

If I win, I stop for the day, even if the amount won is small.

If I lose and getting up to my weekly gambling budget, I quit gambling for that day.

These are what I have been doing and they have helped me to have a good gambling habit.

Yes you are right that mate and 5% of our income is quite good enough to gamble cause it will help us to budget our money and prevent such loss once we will loss in gambling. Also we can not say that our bet is win so honestly speaking there's a time we will win and loss so it's better to control our self and don't be greedy in terms of betting. 5% of our income that's a good budget cause if we are  lucky enough then it will make doubles or triplled so we can still make money.

Allocating certain amount of money is always a wise decision however I do not think that 5% of the income can be a rule for every gambler. Some maybe rich gamblers whom 5% of the income may amount to a very large amount while others may have low income and their 5% may be very less amount.

So I think that every gambler should first analyse how much he can lose and then he can allocate that amount of fund in the gambling. Also once a gambler start winning certain amount he can take out his original investment and keep playing with the profits, this can be another way where a gambler can gamble with the money which he already have won from the gambling only. Sometimes it is not about winning in gambling, it is more about keeping your seed money safe and enjoying the game with the money that you have gained from the gambling sites.

Well firstly, dont gamble at all.

But we all would not be here if the above was true would we? Grin

Hence start with a bankroll management, budget how much can spend on gambling (=waste for fun) and how much you need to pay off your debts and expenses.

If you find yourself struggling with this, you may need to control your habit of gambling and start saving big time.

Let's discuss the unique challenges of responsible gambling in the world of cryptocurrencies.

There are no challenges for being a responsible gambler, what we have are serious issues with being irresponsible with the way we gambles, anything we want we can achieve through our personal determination, gambling should be for entertainment and not other unwanted purpose we may create with it.

Crypto gambling can be fun, but it's important to keep our financial boundaries intact.

This is at our own discretion, we make decisions on what we are to gamble with, if we so have the financial capacity to use enough money for gambling while other things around us remain unaffected, why not, there's nothing bad in doing so, what us wrong is misappropriation.

well, many threads have been created in recent months talking about gambling addiction, talking about precautions that should be taken so that a person is not addicted to gambling, but people forget to do research on how many people in the family of them became addicted to gambling? How many people he knows in his neighborhood have become addicted to gambling? Could it be that the number of people who live in neighborhoods or even in our families are addicted to gambling to the point that we have many threads talking about precautions that should be taken when it comes to gambling? I think that there are not a large number of people addicted to gambling, so much so that you rarely see people on TV talking about numbers of people addicted to gambling

In my opinion, people should look at gambling like anything else they use to have fun and with that thought they can play to their heart's content, without problems or fear. Let's look at a specific and dangerous case that happens every day but people seem to forget about it, I'm talking about beer, wine and other drinks. Most people in developed countries drink alcohol and then get in their cars and have accidents that cause deaths, and the number of people addicted to alcohol is growing a lot, but how often do people talk about it? few times

Did people stop drinking beer? They didn't stop drinking beer. So what have some people been doing? The answer is simple: they drink beers in moderation. So that's what everyone should do: drink in moderation. Casinos are not the only things that can harm people if people gamble excessively. Even food can also cause illness when people overdo it. That's why we have to be responsible for everything we do

Being responsible gambler is not for everyone because gambling is extremely addictive. Gambling is not advisable if you are an aggressive type of person which can easily become addicted and lose control. Avoiding gambling completely sometimes is the best act of being a responsible gambler if you knew to yourself that you can’t handle well addiction because you are just entering a problem if you are not the type who can be responsible in the presence of gambling.

Personally, I only deposit few money and set a target profit goal so that I can have break whenever I hit my goal. The common mistake of gamblers is they didn’t know when to stop so solving this main problem is the best I can do to become responsible.

From the little knowledge I have gained in the course of studying more about gambling I have come to realise that it does not necessarily means that one must be engaged in one activity or the other to be able not to be addicted to gambling. There are lots of rich people out  there who are addicted gamblers who have work doing and businesses which keeps them busy but still yet they gamble because they have the funds to serve them for any purpose.

I totally agree with @Jawhead999, and I also get the point where you are going, but let me trot more light on what Jawhead999 is pointing at. If someone has a job and is earning from that job every single day, you are waking up and running to your work place at the end of the day, you are sure of what will be your salary, and getting home with the stress you have been through in your work place, there will be less time for one to work down to a bet shop or even give his gadget attention to login to a casino website.

On the other hand, if one has a paying job, the level at which he can also gamble will reduce if he doesn't see gambling as a means of survival, and as such, he can't gamble as if all his life depends on it.

No doubt there are rich people who gamble a lot, but it's hard for you to fine someone who is very wealthy, and they gamble a lot without limit. There are a few of them, but not very many, as we can fine jobless people who have turned gambling addicts in the street.

6. Play for fun and not for money (which is hard)
7. Dont push a certain strategy to work
8. Control and discipline
9. Dont try to mimic others big wins
10. Being lucky will really be just random

If you do just simply follow  those points above then it would be unlikely on finding yourself that getting addicted with gambling
or something that will really be that avoiding you on getting those unfortunate events and conditions because of bad dealing or decisions

I will explain how to be a responsible gambler from my point of view which may be different from other people's points of view, I am a gambler who always limits my budget when gambling and I usually gamble on weekends so on weekdays I work as an office worker which may always be I felt bored with the job, so I always gambled on the weekends just for entertainment so I didn't prioritize it as a source of income.

Responsible gambling requires that I be able to control myself before gambling and understand every risk in the gambling that I do so that when I experience losses and losses I don't really feel the loss because I focus on enjoying the game, not on making money, I only gamble on sports betting and Sometimes playing casino games is just entertainment, if I win I will consider it a bonus, but if I lose, just think I have paid for entertainment to relieve boredom from my work. The point is that it all comes back to mindset because these are important tips for becoming a responsible gambler.  Wink

Do not put all your hope in gambling. Remember that gambling is a 50/50 thing. You might lose, you might win.
Get busy with something else that gets you money. Over reliance on gamble wins is risky. You might become addicted Even before you realise it.

Over relying on gambling wins means you can do anything to win because that is your source of income. Even if it means selling your properties.  Setting limits and budgets become impossible here. It is very dangerous to get to this level in gambling.

For the sake of your mental health, see gambling as a fun activity.  It will help reduce the anxiety and stress that comes with gambling.  Gambling is not for the weak,  if it is disturbing your peace,  you can always exit.

The temptation to gamble is very big, even when you are in a losing position, you really want to take out borrowed money to return the capital you lost at the beginning, and you are lucky if you don't take out a loan to gamble.

In general, responsible gambling is gambling without using money that you can lose - setting a capital limit when starting gambling - determining the duration of gambling - not trusting any invitation when gambling - only playing on gambling sites that have a good reputation.

Be a responsible gambler, you can still earn money, but if you change to a gambling addict, your real life will be really messy.

You'll be caught in the middle when you are trying to be responsible and at the same time wanna make money.  You can control yourself more if you are into sports because you can think and research and ask opinions if you want cause there is so much time before casting your bet on a sports match. Makes you responsible for you can cash out if you suddenly change your bet.

With casino games like blackjack or roulette, you are to keep playing without having to think through at times.

The big part of staying within your boundary is knowing your limitations commensurate to your financial capability, spending 20% of your monthly income is just too much unless you have other business that will sustain your daily needs and bills if you can calculate the percentage of your allocation and stick to the plan then you're staying as a responsible gambling.

The most important thing is how you spend your money on gambling, gambling is an expensive form of entertainment and you need to understand that if you avail it it should not harm your finances, if it does then you're in trouble, It just a matter of time before you spend everything in gambling.

Never gamble while your drunk you will be wasting money gambling under the influence of alcohol because your gambling decision are not based on logic at that moment. Don't make gambling an activity you can't do without, give your time to many other economic and social things and activities of life by gambling less often.

In as much as we are always reminded to set amount limit for gambling we should as well set a time limit. It's a bad attitude to spend the whole of our day at the gambling house or online gambling, it's easily to get addicted doing so. Just as many other persons have said, gambling should be taken as entertainment and relieve activity away from the pressures and tasks from workplace and family and not as source of making money.

Maybe don't have a special methods use to get away with possible addiction that might come but usually I make sure that the amount pulled out on my wallet is the only amount I used to gamble. Also never plan to add up once losing streak happen that's one of discipline I always follow since its bad and rather stressful if we receive a lot of losing result since we cannot think accurately with that since for me that would provably result to addiction.

Crypto gambling is really fun but we need to be responsible enough to know what is healthy for us since if we exceed on the limits we set then that's how gambling became toxic to us.

For now those newbie which doesn't know or experience the worst that they can't imagine maybe they should listen to the experience face by other people so that they can be aware on possible risk if they didn't slow down their bad habits while on gambling sites.

If you can make your own rules and stand by those rules, then you can be a responsible gambler. Don't ever consider gambling a source of income or a do-or-die kind of thing because it will lead you straight to becoming addicted to it.
Did you know that this is what that is driving most gamblers that are addicted into gambling addiction? They see gambling as a way to make money and they continue to use money to gamble thinking that they will make money from it but instead of making money they are losing. Gamblers should not have this kind of mentality if they do not want to to get hurt by gambling. Gambling is good but for those that do it in the correct way.

The first key to stay responsible in gambling is you must get a job first!
If you are above 18 or above the legal age for someone to begin gambling, you can gamble even if you do not yet have a job. But make sure that the money that you use is very small. Assuming your parent is giving you $50 weekly, you can gamble with $5 weekly. Also if you start working, you can have a plan like that with little amount of money.

Challenge 1: One profound challenge of some responsible gamblers is chasing losses. When we lose, we sometimes think that we can recover all we have lost which is not always the case.
Tips 1:: Having a gambling budget and following it judiciously. It is one thing to write down how you intend to finance and organize your gambling life, but it is more important to implement it.

Challenge 2: Lack of information about the terms of service: Many gamblers see the ToS as too bulky and ambiguous. This perception scares us from spending time reading and understanding the terms of service.  Many difficulties many gamblers face because they fail to read the operational manual of the gambling platform.
Tips 2: The terms of reference are not as difficult to understand as you think. Time invested in reading this document is not a waste of time because it can save you a lot of stress and waste

So the best possible tip is the one you develop by yourself and for yourself since you are the one who knows your financial limitations a time allocations, because by managing those two things properly,  you set yourself up for responsible gambling.

These are the keys to being responsible in gambling. Whether you're in it just for fun or consider it a source of income, it's crucial to budget your time and money wisely. We already know how bad the consequences can be if we get addicted. For those who take gambling seriously, discipline is of utmost importance, especially when dealing with substantial amounts of money. There's no room for mistakes in this game. What I mean is, everything should be well-calculated. Decisions need to be carefully analyzed, and emotional betting is something we should steer clear of.
