Why only newbies and Jr Members has to suffer each and every time?
Because people are signing up to this forum in droves just to shitpost over hundreds of accounts each and something needed to change. Care to make some suggestions how we can take back the forum from bounty hunting copy and paste spammers?
So before merit system people who are legendary right now, got into that position by their quality of post ? No right? They might have spammed too to get into member,Hero member and legendary.So why no action on them ?
Personally I would prefer it if everybody started from scratch and zero merits. I'd be fine but that would certainly sort the wheat from the chaff. I'd also prefer it if that nobody could have a signature until they achieved 500 or 1000 merits or something. Now that really would make a difference to the quality of discussions here.
Last thing let's start with a polling mechanism here
Why? So you and your thousand alt accounts can sway the vote? Polls are useless here. How about making a constructive argument or suggestions to improve the place instead of just complaining.

We've been discussing how to make this place better for years. Where were your contributions to those discussions? You were probably too busy shitposting to even care. Now a spanner has been thrown in the works and you're suddenly a concerned citizen who is outraged.

Newbies and juniors suffer because they keep starting duplicate threads like this one.
Nope ,they suffer because they don't have Legendary membership here and they don't get merit for whatever they post (if you know what i mean
) .Moreover the truth is most legendary members here are legendary because of their luck nothing more.
Twisted logic. What about the hundreds and sometimes thousands of quality posts we made before the merit system was even introduced? It isn't fair we never got merited for them. What about all those who actually joined in bitcoin and this forum because we actually fell in love with the tech or the politics behind bitcoin and not just signed up because somebody told them they can get paid by posting here? That's why we need changes because bounty hunters and sig spammers have ruined this forum.

Blockchain is basically a network of computers called nodes which all have same history of transactions. So instead of one company or a database which holds all the information, now the information is spread across whole of the network. Whenever a transaction occurs, that is validated by everyone and is put ahead in that history of transactions in that network. And it's tamper proof.

People need to realise that life is unfair, the world owes you nothing - This forum owes you nothing.
Process that, then see merit as a challenge not an problem, Learn and adapt as many other newbies have. If you keep up with the blinkered outlook that others got something that you didn't then you will not go far in life.
Most of these people are probably kids or immature adults at best. They're babies who've had their pocket money taken away and are throwing a temper tantrum about it.
That really sounds like a good idea to me. theymos should probably try something like this next time when he is doing something to prevent spam or something. I mean, it isn't a bad idea to have a poll among the workers of a company before firing them (because they have been constantly ruining the reputation of it) and act according the results of that. Is it?
