As far as I can calculate those free uBTC is equillivant to $0.073 - $0.00073..

BTC going rate at btc-e is $727 atm.

Wouldn't it be better just trying to mine some?

Yeah, but let's face it, these faucets and free games are just for newbs to get some coin in their wallet. It's really not worth your time at the end of the day, but if they're fine with less than a cent, let em go for it.

Exactly, you have to start somewhere. I started out using simple faucets as well. The bottom link in my signature earned me 0.006 BTC so far. It's not much, but you can use those earning to gamble. With a 50-50 bet you can end up with 0.012 BTC.

Mining BTC is hard and costly (power and equipment) now. For those starting out the links provided here are great ways to learning the system and playing some fun games in the process.
You're very right though, you won't get rich with µBTC games, nor faucets, but they all add up to get you started at least.

You might even do both? I do Smiley

This looks like a good way to get started. So, can I ask... which of these games are the best? Any favorites around here? Or will I just have to find out for myself?  Tongue

The bottom link in my signature is a (referral) link to a dice game faucet. It's pretty fun and you can claim free btc once every hour. You can also multiply your earnings by by playing a high/low game. You could check it out.
