since a few months ago, this is the low price that bitcoin is currently achieving. so far, the price has gone down 12% within a few days. that's really a very big decline. even so, from the information that I read, this decline is related to Bakkt. however, currently the price of bitcoin has touched the level of $ 8000, and even the worst predictions that the price of bitcoin can touch the level of $ 7000 in the near future.
The price will bounce back as normal. We shouldn't get bothered about the steady fluctuation of price of bitcoin cos it's only meant for weak hands to sell off their bitcoin easily. We should all be relax and wait for the bullrun
undisturbed people are those who feel the value of the assets owned has not decreased. but for those who have not had time to sell, of course, seeing the value of their assets which drops more than 10% will certainly be disturbed and panicked too. although we all know that prices will also go back up and we just need to wait, but that feeling of annoyance can never be eliminated. 
The drop of bitcoin was not surprising. A lot of people were waiting for it to drop, but nobody really knew when it would have happen. If there is not enough buyers to maintain its price, it drops.
I suppose some people need money and had to liquidate their bitcoin and altcoins. That's why you should only invest money you don't need into cryptos.

I think everyone was shocked too with what happens to the market ever since the start of bakkt there's a dump happening already. Some people expect a growth of the price yet it is unexpected to see what just happened. Bitcoin price dump too since there's a drop of a recent hashrate. You can find more here or in the internet if you search them. And since most of the coins are following the trend of Bitcoin it's expected to see a drop of the price in most altcoins.
There is no reason for the fall. I do not see anything in the news, Altcoins and Bitcoin were dropped. I don’t even know whether to wait for the recovery of the price or we came to the bear market
The last rally went from $19k to $3k.
This time it the high was $13k so expect about $2k
Next high will only be $8k max so if you're buying today you need your head looked at.

Well,I guess that the 2018 price pattern might repeat.The bitcoin price might crash back to 4K USD and stay at that level during the entire winter.I think that many bitcoin hodlers and traders were waiting for Bakkt to cause a bull run,but that didn't happen so they are just selling.Don't worry,the price will recover next year.
All I can find was talk about BAKKT but its very unusual for the market at these stages just fall in such %. No major news was released that would influenced the price so you should keep an eye on your coins. I predict that the price will jump back up by the end of the day or tomorrow.
Expect that a lot of that kind of movement will happen.

I think that is because of bitcoin price was drop deeper than the last price, and now we saw the bitcoin price reached $8k.
That makes the altcoin especially ethereum gets down too, but that will be temporary because after bitcoin can move to the higher price.
The altcoin will follow too, and that will happen too with ethereum.
It is a good opportunity to buy any coins in the market because all of the altcoins have down again so we can buy a huge amount if we have money.
But if you are afraid to buy more, then you could only watch the market moves up and down without buying one of them.

To be fair everyone went on a downward spiral unfortunately, and even top coins is -10%. The explanation is that is has something to do with the hash flash crash, but others have pointed out that there could be manipulation or simply FUD. We have a dedicated board that you can follow here, Press. At least in this board you can read comments of most "experts" in this community and the explanation.

Nobody knows for now, or at least - I haven't heard anything that would explain the price crash as of yet. But, it is definitely an opportunity to invest in BTC, ETH, and many others. Historically, the crypto market would often crash before a bull run. It also happened in 2017. It is likely that a huge rally might be following in the next few days or weeks.

I got an alert that the price dropped by $1k in a day but now as I can see that atleast ETH recovered by $10 while BTC has fallen even further. Because of Bakkt which I was was unaware of till yesterday, the price dropped by 12% straight. It should have instead brought more investors to cryptos but it did the opposite. Hashrate dropped by 30% and it may just be a coincidence now. Altcoin prices have increased as BTC value fell.

This posts just kinds of FOMO. For a newbie, don't be fooled with this post. Okay, I know more cheaper, more profits when the price is up. But, you still need to make a good decision to buy. Today Bitcoin already fall 15%, it doesn't mean it will never go deeper. After hitting 8.600, it can be drops 8.000 or even until 7.000. Who knows? No one knows about the future of this market conditions.
So for all newbie traders, better you check by yourself, learn to analyze on the trading market than you are fooled by "Hurry" words.
They say it's a correlation between the rash rate and the price of Bitcoin today. There's a sudden drop in hashrates resulting into people panicking to sell their Bitcoins. Some say that this is phenomenon where miners turn off their rigs because there's no blocks mine in the span of 2 hours. It will be back to normal soon though and I think those who panic sell will regret selling Bitcoin at a low price.
Hashrate lowers probably as it becomes unprofitable in certain territories, so those miners simply stop mining. Since the diff is adjusted every 2016 blocks, it may take a while to adjust when sudden changes in hashrate occurs.
Of course panic selling leads to losses, people doing that simply do not have the discipline required to enter the game in the first place.
If anything, cheaper price is a chance for many to buy, hurry while it lasts...
