Not totally a crypto casino but a bitcoin faucet. It started with a faucet but eventually they added some games. Fun token is a gaming token and they have also partnered with different gambling sites but I am not familiar of those sites except freebitco.

There are millions of registered users in freebitco but most of these numbers are not legit but they are just bots and multi accounts only to abuse the faucet. I think the reason why fun token can be used on other casinos is because it is an independent token. It was not owned by a specific gambling company unlike to bfg and owl tokens which was owned by betfury and owlgames.

I think OWL should be added in that list. Many of us here have known BFG because it did a signature campaign in the forum making the participants holders of their token. But before them there is also Earnbet.io (formerly EOSbet) and Bethash.io which has same idea of doing things.

I think they could belong to a staking coins category not Gambling or Casino.

That thread was created last year already 8 months ago, of all the casino based token BFG, Fun, and Owl shows potential in the market and will be the frontline of this concept, I have a BFG token and Owl token and the price is very competitive and staking is also good if you're holding a huge amount.
These two tokens can be in both categories, casino and staking because of their nature and who owns them I'm hoping that casinos-based tokens will be the next big thing, it's a multi-billion dollar industry and there's always room for new concepts.

I think I found something both in coinmarketcap and coingecko.

As you can see, FUN token is the most popular casino-based token, which is not surprising for a gambling site that has been there for so long. The tokens below it appear to be somewhat obscure, and most of them seemed to me to be dead tokens owing to a lack of information and perhaps volume? The tokens that we know exist on bitcointalk aren't listed either.

So if these section does exist? Why most of the gambling site we know that have their tokens don't bother listing to coingecko or coinmarketcap?

It's true about owl.

I've seen that from don't have much volume, it's starting to get up. There is really the moment that many casinos might do the same thing as they look at the success of other casinos that have their own tokens.

They might be encouraged and use that as an inspiration if they see that others have been picking up and starting to see the success within it.

As far as I can remember there was one before: Bitdice's CSNO but it didn't went very well. To be exact there was an accusations against them here.

So this is not the first time that we heared about casino based token, but I'm not sure how viable or successful it will be. Hopefully, they will as we all know that if they can offer their own tokens for gamblers, then maybe it will gain some attention.

The possibility is always there. The hype and the build-up trend will depend on how their users will react. Same as how the usual altcoins behave, self-established gambling tokens should also come with a hype. Since these gambling tokens do have use-case, what remains is, how that gambling site will put effort to market their respective coins.

The system is not new after all. The challenge is how to build up that token's name in the market. It took a while for the FUN token to be popular even though Freebitco is already popular. A hype is really needed aside from the token developers being popular.

Totally depends because not everytime you would automatically presume out that other gambling token based coins had risen up and so do into others as well because it would always matter on the demand as we all know.

But its not bad to consider out on making out some investment with these coins.Consider on the list on adding RLB which is rollbit token based too which we know that this casino is quite popular and known
into this market which it isnt really bad to make out some investment if you do really look for these coins to be worth.So its a personal kind of choice.

That idea has been there since the ICO days. But I don't think that most casinos really have to launch their own tokens, maybe only inside their platforms which don't share the common reasons why other casinos are releasing their own tokens and it's due to funding reasons.
Big casinos, I don't think that they'll ever need to have one.

I would consider these tokens as not just tokens but also an alternate crypto currency as well since they are quite volatile in the market making their value go up and down quite a lot therefore it would be like holding your own little share in the casino.
But for me personally I do not prefer Altcoins a lot neither tokens as well therefore I usually like to stay with casinos with options with Bitcoins are more varied and have more options as well which inturn makes it better for the holders.

If stake gets its own token am preety sure its value would rise drastically as well since there are things that you cannot find anywhere but on stake and most casinos do limit their services in certain countries but I never had a problem using stake as well.

Fun tokens, BFG tokens and OWL tokens can compete with each other because I see those three types of tokens have a chance to be big in the future but with a note that all developers continue to work on developing those tokens. Maybe Fun tokens have a greater chance to rise to a better position because they have run earlier than other tokens. But if the BFG token and OWL token developers can grow, the two tokens can also follow the Fun token. When viewed from the features, these three types of tokens have almost the same function so that these three types of tokens can attract more investors.

If it's profitable for a casino to have its own token then it's possible, these casino-based tokens are still in an experimental phase, BFG so far is succeeding but it's still a long way for BFG token to reach the top 100 but it's on their goal and roadmap, they are exhausting every means to attract more players and investors, if ever BFG token and Owldao reach the top, they will be the model of casinos that are planning to launch their own token, only time can tell.

Its been a while that casinos were releasing their own token, it is fun to become partly owner of a casino that let you earn from the casino profit. Its not always the case for casino owner to do these though, most of them are profit driven and not share.

FUN is listed on many exchanges which is good though its price is no mooning. For BFG, Its a wonder why not listed on different exchanges. I saw they are doing signature campaign again in the forum so I was thinking whether its a sign that they continue to earn which they can pay promoters or they are struggling to get clients?
