We can still invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies since, as we all know, we constantly buy bitcoin.

A factor you should take into account while investing is what the price of Bitcoin will be in the near future. Because of this, we always advise investing only the amount of money you can afford to lose in Bitcoin investments. By doing this, you avoid investing a sizable sum of money when the price might not turn out to be what you expected.

Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!
Your reason to not learn Bitcoin is just pretty much the same just like the other people in here who recently curious to Bitcoin. There is no late when it comes to learning something and invest on Bitcoin, you may think the price is high but you'll think the same as the time goes so you'd likely to start now. Learn about stuff regarding Bitcoin so you are more curious about it and try to take it slow because it's so easy to get lost when you invest on Bitcoin.
Yes, you would only think the same years from now if you will not invest in bitcoin right now. So do the right thing and start learning the basics in bitcoin before you decide to invest in it. After all, there’s no actually late when it comes to any investment, but if you keep missing the opportunities, you will end up regretting in your whole life wishing you have listened to your instinct and not entertained those negativity about bitcoin.

It's never too late to start. If you want to start in crypto, you need to understand what your getting into. You need to do your own research but here are some of the important areas you can start learning if you want to start now. First is, of course, cryptocurrencies. You need to know how they work, or their purpose. An example of this is Bitcoin and Ethereum. The second is blockchain technology. Most of the crypto and its other applications that are using crypto rely heavily on what we called blockchain technology. It is important to know how it works this includes smart contracts and cryptography. Third, you must learn how to trade and invest. Understanding how to analyze charts and how to read market trends. The fourth one is you need to stay out of trouble with the law and do things in an ethical way, In short, you need to know what the rules are. This is crucial for your start and as I said from the beginning, It's never too late to start. many experts predict that the market will continue to expand in the coming years.
Here are some key things to keep in mind:

1: Do your own research
2: Choose a reputable exchange
3: Learn about risk management
4: Stay up to date,

I don't think it's ever too late to start investing in crypto. Of course, there's always a risk involved in any type of investment, but the potential rewards of investing in the right cryptocurrency can be significant.

In my opinion, the first step in learning about cryptocurrency is to understand the basic concepts behind it. You can start by reading articles and watching videos that explain what Bitcoin is, how it works, and how it differs from traditional currencies or etc.

Once you have a good grasp of the fundamentals, you can then move on to learning about the different types of cryptocurrencies and how they function.

I suggest, it's a good idea to start small when investing in cryptocurrency. This allows you to get a feel for how the market works without putting too much of your money at risk.

it's never too late to start. The problem is that there used to be fewer cryptocurrencies, so when the bullrun came, everything went up in value. Now there are a lot of cryptocurrencies, so everything will not grow in price. Much depends on the development team, as well as on the purposes for which a particular project is intended.

We can always choose bitcoin. It won't give us as much income as some altcoin can probably do, but if we talk about risks than if entire crypto won't fail then bitcoin will stay definitely. So we can always buy and hold bitcoin and be glad with what we have with it not pretending on more. And it is still not too late for it.

Most of altcoin will fail, it is natural for any startups. I hope some of good projects will stay but even those which look not bad at the time and have a good road map and team can fail despite my hope on them. Grin

The higher the risk, the higher the return.
...

And the losses are also higher. It what the word risk means. If we bought a bunch of bitcoins for several bucks years ago we risked just with those several bucks. Even if that risk was high it was of very small amount of money. When we trade we have risk of losing much more.

...
How do you rate the prediction of bitcoin reaching 1 million or even more?
...

Don't forget that world GDP is just about $96,510 billions. You can count that if bitcoin will cost $5 millions its capitalization will overcome all GDP of the Earth. If one day 1 BTC will cost $5 millions it will probably mean that its rate to USD will has no sense anymore as all old economy is probably crashed and it is really bad. I'd prefer evolutionary changes than a big sudden crash.

The higher the risk, the higher the return. Just like the early bitcoin investors, they were the ones who risked investing in bitcoin when the whole world didn't care and didn't believe it. And I also believe if we had known about bitcoin at that time, we would not believe and not invested in bitcoin because then it was nothing. When you want what others don't have, step out of your comfort zone and do what others can't, this world is very fair, and the reward is always for the person who tries the most.

It's never too late with bitcoin, and we have many ways to profit from bitcoin, and you can make millions of dollars trading if you are good enough.

Early investors did not make money through trading, they recognized the opportunity and it was long-term investing that brought them a good result, not trading. It is still not too late to buy bitcoin now, it will bring profit, but most likely we should not count on such a large profit as it was before. Bitcoin has become quite an expensive coin and now it will be more and more difficult for it to double its price every time.

you are not late because crypto is a field where you can make investment anytime especially in Bitcoin and in my opinion I think that in Bitcoin in what price you make investment you will always get your profit because it increases more and more in coming years. But you should remember that try to get knowledge about how to deal with price Fluctuations, not to loss hope at the time of price drops and also make a firm decision when the time and price is in your favor.
you are right buddy, it's never too late to be able to join in investing in crypto especially when you want to focus on bitcoin. It is certain that holding bitcoins for a certain time will result in a higher value when starting to buy and invest. but it really takes a lot of patience if you want to invest in crypto or more specifically in bitcoin, because it has a high value and it takes at least 4 years when the halving period starts to occur.

If you invest now and 10 years later, you are still holding bitcoins, the return you get is no less than the early adopters who sold their bitcoins.

It depends on when did they sell their bitcoins. Those ones who mined bitcoins among the early adopters and sold for thousands of bucks definitely got much more than anyone can get for next ten years. Speed of growth of bitcoin is lowering with time and it is rather expensive already — to make thousands of x. It is not too late to start but newcomers will hardly earn as much as early adopters (if they didn't sell to early).

It cannot be denied that early miners and early adopters of bitcoin made desirable profits, but such people are few and rare. I also agree with you that bitcoin returns are decreasing year by year, but the future is unpredictable. How do you rate the prediction of bitcoin reaching 1 million or even more? If the banking and fiat systems fail, bitcoin will become the new heaven, the choice of everyone worldwide.
I still believe in the future of bitcoin and still expect bitcoin to hit $1 million in the not too distant future as the centralized fiat system shows more and more weaknesses.

There is no doubt that the early miners and early bitcoin adopters made enormous profits, and no one will be able to repeat it as they did. Investing in bitcoin is not just holding, but we can also trade, can hold no longer bring huge profits because bitcoin is getting more and more expensive and profits are getting less and less. But for trading is unlimited, you can make hundreds of millions of percent from trading, but to make a profit from trading requires us to have more knowledge and more effort to create extraordinary things.

If we talk about trading then it is even more suitable time to start nowadays because there are much more trading tools and pairs than were at the beginning. But it is more risky at the same time: waiting until bitcoin will rise (if you hold it in your own cold wallet) is IMO a little less risky than an active trading. But of course it is good time for traders to enter crypto market: volatility is still high, capitalization is high already and there are a lot of exchanges where to trade, — golden era of crypto for traders.

I knew Bitcoin for 7 years now. And hop into it 2 years ago, started saving and made extra money. If somebody tells You, that it is too late to join, then You know, that's actually a Perfect time to do it. Market is a P2P "toy", used wisely, can give You huuuuuuge profits.

This is the perfect example. Bitcoin is not like those Ponzi schemes that you should always invest in when it is just starting, as you can still get your money back. Bitcoin is the future, anytime and anywhere you can start as long as you know the risk and you have money that you are willing to invest because if you do not invest at the time you know it for sure, you'll regret it in the future.

Not easy to change investor mindset about too late start investing in Bitcoin, they are looking on Bitcoin price have been $27K current price right now and comparison with last three or four years later when Bitcoin under $10K. Its seems not realistic with Bitcoin have been popular and adopted by many bigger companies around the world.

Start investing right now but looking when the correction for purchasing bitcoin, if you think too late always when try investing in Bitcoin I believe never have braveness for investing in bitcoin. One day later will disappointed about some mindset about too late investing in bitcoin because the other have earned profit and you just opening journey for investing in bitcoin when price have pump.

Well, it is never too late to start, also the advantage we have with btc is that the market is always benevolent, we always have a way to enter the market and with a very good chance of winning, no matter how long we have waited or if it was discovered late, I think that here things can occur in many ways, among which, the best thing for some is to buy everything that is possible in btc and wait until there is a new ath, this is what some investors always have, because they are market speculators It's pretty risky, but it's worth it.

you've joined this forum since 2019 and you just asked if it's too late to start investing in crypto?
If you don't start right away you will keep running late and you will be abandoned by other users. 2017 when you know about crypto you should have started to think that crypto continues to grow especially bitcoin. Take a look at bitcoin's journey from 2017, you must already know that price fluctuations and increases in bitcoin prices are extraordinary. Then what still makes you doubt?
If you don't start now, then when?
If you stay on that mindset thinking that it’s too late for you to invest in crypto, then you will always miss the opportunities to invest and be profitable in the future. But if you start taking the risk now while the market is giving us a good entry, you will have all the chances to grow your investment and reap what you sow in the next years. If you have studied how bitcoin started and how its price has prosper throughout the years, then you will never hesitate to invest, and enter crypto investment now. There’s no late in crypto, you only have to enter at its best market entry so you will make the best of your investment and enjoy the profits at its fullest.

No you are not late, just imagine many other banks still did not accept bitcoin as well as the government so don't worry you are early. We are expecting for more projects to be born and pump next year as we will are having another halving so you don't need to worry about it. Just invest in crypto but make sure it is well researched and it will not run soon.
for now it is not too late to get to know and learn about bitcoin, there is still the possibility of getting profit from investing in bitcoin, on the other hand the bullish season has not yet come and it is an opportunity to be able to welcome it, especially now that bitcoin is showing its performance not experiencing a crash again and surviving in the area $28k. hopefully this bodes well
I agree with you, the opportunity is not over. There is still potential for investment. Moreover, Bitcoin may surpass the previous all-time high in the future. As such I think this is a good time to invest in Bitcoin. Although there is some risk, investing in Bitcoin will be difficult if you don't want to take the risk.
