It's not really the coin but the project behind the coin, if you know what to look at on a project, the development team, the issues that they want to address, and the platform that they are offering to the community, whatever coin those team named or algo they want to use, they are going to succeed, even if they have the name failure on their coin, it's all about the project.
Exactly. It's the project that carries the competitiveness and utility of such coin. But still, a lot of projects have been launched in the market so we need to analyze more by making our own research which project will be most appealing to the investors thru the team that carries out the success of the project.

It will have a negative effect with lots of coins in circulation, because it can make many investors lose money if they choose the wrong coins
for investment. Because based on the data I got in several articles on the internet, it said that about 90% of the coins in circulation were shitcoins.
Therefore it is very important to do analysis and research first before deciding on an investment, make sure the coins we choose have a high volume.
Because usually high volume coins have a high demand, making it easier to make profit from these coins.

I think you forget about an important think:

7: if the team did a bounty program and what was the allocation

Bounty hunters have a selling strategy and most of them dont want to hold any single coin for the future that because they alway wanted to convert their work to fiat.

Some bounty hunters sold their tokens (Amepay) for less than 0.005 and the price now is 0.07 and im sure it will rise again

That is true probably millions of altcoins or cryptocurrencies in the market not to mentions that dead coins or dead token that didn't reach the market. In the future sure not all tokens are going to make it in the future because there will just too many tokens and that is going to divide the money that we put in cryptocurrency, and probably 99% of the tokens in the altcoin is not going to make it and only 1% of the coins in the market is going to make it somewhere around a thousand token probably. Probably why most people are just recommending bitcoin to everyone just because it is the safest investment that is going to make it compared to other altcoins.

These are the risks unfortunately in the alt coin market. We don't know which coins are going to succeed and which are going bust beforehand. A lot of the success of a new coin depends on the first month of its trading and how much advertising is being done for the coin. So to go only for bitcoins because it's the most used might be wrong. We can make a lot of money in the alt coin market if we pick the right ones.

all must need in-depth research if you want to buy small but not well-known coins, if you want to be safe, buy ethereum, dot, uni coins for the long term
Yes, and what you mentioned is not a small coin even though the price is still very affordable and not too expensive for those who have a lot of money, because small Altcoins are Altcoins that have a lot of supply and the price is also very cheap even though these Altcoins are very well known.
why buy small unknown coins when there is also small known coins and they are safer .
he mentioned 3 coins namely eth , dot and uni . eth isnt a small coin because its value are over a thousand dollar but uni and dot are not that high and their names arent big as eth but two coins are not a bad investment .
price has something to do with the supply of a coin this is why investors that aims for big profit consider small supply coins only .

You will expect this massive growth in the number of coins as many people are not satisfied to create just one project but wanted more. That is why if we gonna take a look at them, most of them are just a clone to other projects and this is why many of them got failed and abandoned by their developers.

This gives us more time to spend looking for potential projects, out of thousands of coins available in the market, I think it is not greater than $10 are having the potentials while the majority are dead/shitcoins.

From 2020 to 2021 there are so many new coins in the circulation, and of the course I really agree with the emergence of this new altcoin, so that the crypto world can grow and can be utilized by all levels of the society, but here we must always choose carefully.  The coins we want to invest in, because not all of these altcoins can provide benefits for us, therefore we must first study the coins we want to invest in, so that things that we don, 't want to happen.

No newbie should bother with new coins as their first investment, they should try bitcoin at first and then if they have been capable to hold their coins for at least a year

Being able not to dump for a year is not a determinant if someone is good investor od bad. Its the stereotype created by bull marked kids that didn't see real bear market. Yea we had bear makers in crypto but they last no longer than 3 years. Whole bitcoin didn't see a global bear market (SP500 is in bull mode for last 12 years). What will you tell a person who invested today, a month before a bear market that will last 20 years? Is it possible? Hell yea it is.

I would rather suggest learning money management, to protect your funds, to calculate risks, to avoid unknown risks.

Personally, I think that from the side of a simple user and a small investor. During the entire existence of the cryptoindustry, many users began to understand and use coins for their own profit. And when a large number of different coins come to the market, many have hopes of getting a good profit from these coins. But as you know, everyone cannot make a good profit, so the market always falls and rises and someone loses and someone gets an excellent profit. So if it is profitable, then let the cryptoindustry develop and make the whole world useful for the whole society.

There's balance, new coin coins comes in another dies, and it does help bring money to the crypto market. New development team new producers and new money, more jobs and the market is alive, it's healthy for bitcoin and everything else because pairs are created when the new coins are listed.

A newcomer to this market would completely agree that these are very good, but I believe they are ignoring these right things and doing things not according to what they consider to be right sound and safe. Everyone, everyone starts with learning and listening to everything, but it won't take too long for them to forget everything, I've seen this too many times in this space and everyone will have to agree with this view.

Yes, it will make it difficult to select the new altcoins or tokens because many of them will not have a chance to survive in the crypto market. Sometimes, it does not need too long for that new coin to perish because the new coin does not get more support from the traders or the project can not grow or develop as their plan. You should not invest in new coins or tokens with big money to avoid that and it is better to invest in altcoin, which has good track before.

Too many coin in circulation
You have seen nothing yet...

It does not matter if there are many coins in circulation. The coins which are made to scam or get people's money won't survive for long but with every passing day the number of altcoins will continue to increase. For trader, this is good as it give more options and opportunity to trade and gain money. Also this means that the marketcap of crypto will continue to increase as more and more altcoins come into circulation.
It is not the quantity that is important, but the quality of coins and tokens, as well as their projects. All this is determined over time. No matter how much cryptocurrency appears on this market, it will never be superfluous. Everything unnecessary for the market and its participants will regularly leave it. Anyone can create a cryptocurrency and enter the market with it. However, only those types of cryptocurrencies that are useful and necessary for its participants will remain on the market. Thanks to this, the cryptocurrency market is developing very quickly.

Most of these new altcoins will perish somehow as they continue reinventing the wheel. The one with good team that can deliver according to the roadmap will succeed as long they continue to innovate
true. i see many many project since 2017 have success ico and reached their marketcap. but as you said, only fews can survive and deliver a useful product, most of them fail to provide their promises. Many of them left by the team, lack of funds, stop their development, or even left by the community. it's all happen all the time.

and for the op.
massive circulation is not a sin as long as it back by massive holder and sustainable development of the project.

Not but risky, you need to have proper understanding and right knowledge about the project that you are supporting,

you can't just assume things that it will happened without knowing the principles and without seeing the actual progress.

There are lots of projects and there lots of promises, it's you who can pressume if what are those that really performing

and what are those who just made for scamming and runaway.

The mission behind each altcoin varies and taking accounts of the mission behind each coin helps in predicting the movement of the coin over time.

On paper yes but not so practical, in the altcoins market a project can be over hyped in the very beginning and you just looking at it will get clounded by this hype and presume the project to be worth investing in. We have seen project that have been predicted to be worth more in the future due to their technology but as a result of poor marketing, project dies off the radar.

We have new project popping up daily that if you decide to slow down on your project development and marketing you get forgotten instantly. There are developers (scammers in disguise) waiting on you to come up with a new concept for them to steal or improve on and bring out a more superior project.

There's greed in the industry so we shouldn't expect the new altcoins to slow down anything soon instead you focus on project you have down your research on and only invest funds you'll be comfortable losing.

7. If you are new here (less than 2 years experience in trading and crypto) spend this bubble on observations rather than investment. However, if you really want to participate in the market, use very small amounts. Like 5-10% of what you are able to.
8. Even if points 1-6 looks legit it does not mean the coin is cheap and is worth investment today (when most of alts already did 5-50x).

example of coin research - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53299809 (price go x18)
No newbie should bother with new coins as their first investment, they should try bitcoin at first and then if they have been capable to hold their coins for at least a year then they could finally choose to invest in altcoins, but newbies do not listen despite their inexperience, they think they know it all and they suffer from this behaviour and by the time they realize their mistake there is nothing to do, the few newbies that resist the temptation and invest in bitcoin suddenly realize they do not need to invest in any other coin and decide to stick with bitcoin, which is the right choice.
