And this are just a few of them, I'm sure there are a lot more reasons that cause bitcoin to fall down. Bitcoin will surely recover and that should have soon, probably in the next few months. Right now it's looks like the price is stagnating at 3-4000$ wich is kind of a good sign because it's not going down and slowly it goes up.

This are the things that affects the price of bitcoin
Yeah all those reasons are enough to make the price fall fuds are the best reasons for price fall. People actually contributed last year for the price fall because they sold so many coins for panic just because few months price was not good so they got frustrated and sell at panic it’s not good at all just keep holding.

We are just into a discussion to analyse what are the root cause for people are dumping and who are all creating those panic. It is not about some sudden downfall as we had a year-long falling market which must be having some specific reason. But I'm sure, after seeing bitcoin into $~$20k levels, people might have started profit booking which triggered up to where we are into right now.

It might have started from profit booking and then spread over as panic selling. But right now people are looking into getting back and that is the reason we are having sustaining market conditions. I believe bitcoin will find the recovery at very real time soon hence it will be too late for analyzing what are the reasons which caused bitcoin to downfall.

Bear market sentiment. No one thinks the market is recovering in the near term. As such everyone trying to sell when the price goes up to a certain point. Further adding downward pressure.

We are going to need a strong catalysts and new in flow of capital into the industry.

Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down

https://u.today/top-10-reasons-why-bitcoin-is-falling-down

-The frontloaded success of cryptocurrency mining
-Regulatory roadblocks
-FOMO turned into FUD
-Rampant market manipulations
-No institutional money
-The ‘Blockchain over Bitcoin’ narrative
-News about the recent stock market crash
-US investors avoiding paying capital gain taxes
-Mainstream media coverage
-Will the BTC price recover?
One more reason, that is strong manipulation. The fake news comes from the whales and I believe that these are true words from some members who have worked in this market for a long time.
This is a market that is not regulated by the law so the money-rich can always manipulate the market freely. Bitcoin will recover in the future and that's for sure, it's already available in the whale's strategy.
therefore we must be able to follow the movements of the whales and not fight them, because we as small fish must follow their movements from behind, not even fight it from the front, so as not to become prey

Whales have such capacity. This is why a "pump and dump" strategy had been banned and is now a criminal offence on the stock market.

None of the reasons lead to the complete fall of Bitcoin. Completely different reasons lead to a complete fall, many of which are still not clear. Now only one thing is known: Bitcoin fell after the euphoria. I think that after this its rise is logical.

Yes,you're right. There's a lot of reasons why bitcoin falling down but i believe there are also a lot of reasons why bitcoin still in the market, still has a value and demand. There are a lot of reasons fir everything but for bitcoin i believe it will long last as a valuable digital currenct.

Well these listed are likely the obvious reasons why we're at this point but it really doesn't matter which of these makes the price stay low for a long time. There could be reasons not indicated. And the same goes when the price goes up. Anyone could list a top 10 for that easily.

I am not really sure that ETFs will save the price of bitcoin, on the contrary. They will make prices go down to buy at lower prices as is done by the current exchange.

ETF's are bullish by nature, especially if backed by the underlying asset. What you are referring to are futures that are cash settled, which allows any entity to short large amounts of Bitcoin without owning any. You could technically short more Bitcoins than there will ever be minted, the only thing that matters is that you have the cash to settle the contracts.

In the end, I honestly don't think there has been much manipulation through futures at all. The price went down because it was bound to come down after an insane bull run in 2017. This market hasn't done much other than pumping and dumping since its existence, and back in the days there weren't any futures available.

So many people talk about manipulation, yet none of them back up their claims. Roll Eyes

Price will recover . There is a lot of factor why the value of the bitcoin should down.
The main reason is panic selling and making price down I think we should hold and keep our trust high for crypto. Price falls when investors shows distrust for their coin and being stressed that sell at low price market. So falling and rising of bitcoin is in hands of investors if they keep on investing they actually saved their own future.

present Price falling down of BTC  is as a result of fluctuation of supply and demand which usually causes  the volatility  of  Bitcoin, Value of  commodity  is often governed by the law of  supply and demand of the products being traded in every economy. We need not to panic 2019 is here the bull run is sure to happen.

I think the biggest reason is because big holders are dumping so bad, so they can buy lower when newbies panic and sell their coins at low price.

I guess that came at the 19k price. A lot of expectations happened and a lot of investors also road that boat without even thinking. It is all just about the profit which didnt happen for them. Sadly, it turned out bad and they also didnt expect a fall which is so deep.
Then the rest is history and they filled the social media community with lies just because of their hatred against bitcoin.
It happens when some wannabe millionaire broke newbie gets the hyped news of crypto being the next gold and get a huge loan from the bank to start investing in it. They obviously thought that price is going to go even up or they would soon be able to break even. Turned out that they didnt even do the slightest research on crypto for example the 5year price charts which would immediately have revealed that the price had pumped and the asset is overbought. Sadly few people have the brains to do this and now they have to suffer. Roll Eyes

These people are panic selling at every small pump like the recent pump from 3600>>4090 (almost touching 4100 and then dump)>>3600 again.

~snip~
1. Popularity of stablecoins gives people the capability of "shorting way of trading". With the help of a stablecoin (like tether), you can virtually sell bitcoins first to buy it later.
2. There is a study which reveals that exchanges and web wallet services are misusing our bitcoin holding with them to short bitcoin markets to gain their own benefits.
3. Thousands of altcoins and ICO based tokens had attracted investors who were basically meant for bitcoin investments but they decided to try their luck with some other coin rather than going for bitcoin investments for various reasons.

From the three points that you mentioned I agree. Stable coins create short trades that throw away those who hold bitcoin. ICO sales also damaged trade because the sales they got would be used to finance projects so they would sell bitcoin or ethereum.

4. Bitcoin ETF is continuously being rejected. This might be a reason why bitcoin is not attractive for new investors but this cannot be the reason why bitcoin was falling down (as it had become an usual event among crypto traders).

Keep hold your bitcoin and never care about how many time you got bad news about bitcoin, always keep or hold when bitcoin really at lower price, because I trust bitcoin could back to higher price and raised more than $20,000.

Price will recover . There is a lot of factor why the value of the bitcoin should down. But what ever the factor that we can change that negative factor to good factor the sake of the everyone to rise the value of the bitcoin. Falling down is enough to see last year and this year is rising up of the price is now good to see. Let's stop the bad or negative factor that can cause falling market.
