If it is to be a truly long term (100+ years) value / money item.

It will end up well over 60k .

Remains to be seen how good the staying power will be.

But lots and lots and lots of 60k+ numbers are sweet.

Some days I wonder 💭 will if move over and above ⬆️ 240k by Jan 1 2022

Some days I simply hope for continued sideways action.

Of course I also fear a crash to 20 k or less.

So on an emotional level I really push even keel mindset as much as I can.

Well you also might want to consider proclaiming that our $60k plus streak started October 15th with an exception of October 27.. or just call it a $59k plus streak.  Personally, I prefer the $60k plus streak that started on October 15th with the one time ity-bity exception...... and hopefully it lasts.

Maybe we will never, ever, ever be able to buy coins below $60k again.. ever?  But that might be a wee bit too optimistic...   Perhaps?  Even though we have had times like that in Bitcoin's history.. several times when it passed certain price points (that were seemingly sticking points) never to return to those prices again (in spite the wishes of no coiners, bitcoin naysayers, and/or those who are under prepared for UP - which is a lot of folks by the way).  

For example, who reasonably believes that they are ever going to be able to get coins below $20k, ever?   Sure there are some folks who believe that, and sure it could happen, but it is becoming quite doubtful to ever revisit those sub $20k prices ever again, even if some people wish for it and even if some people (such as bearwhales) try to cause such lower BTC prices to happen.  Good luck with that... .At some point, sub $50k and sub $60k are likely to appear equally unrealistic.. even if it could take a bit of time (and even price distance towards the upside) to start to cause some of us to have high levels of confidence that those prices will not be revisited.. I will admit that currently, we cannot really make such claims in regards to sub $50k or sub $60k not likely to happen like we can make regarding sub $20k - even if it still remains possible to get sub $20k (only a mere 70% BTC price correction from $62,800 will get us to sub $20k) - just not seeming very likely at all to get there, at this point in time.

By the way 1: I am attempting to stay descriptive rather than getting into predictions.. even though I know that the areas do overlap a wee bit.

By the way 2: I understand and appreciate that this thread is about tops, so there can be a lot of appreciation for BTC price tops (and for sure daily weighted-average tops), even by those of us who are excited about bottoms, too... Seems to me that the longer that we are able to sustain top prices, then those kinds of BTC price dynamics draw upon creating space/distance from the bottom and make certain levels of bottoms less and less likely.  So, you get a lot of folks proclaiming that 85% draw downs are likely to continue to occur in bitcoin, but those kinds of levels of draw downs are largely happening after some kind of a blow off top.. and do not just randomly happen even though some folks would want you to believe that they can happen at any ole random time (even though we also know that anything can happen in bitcoin, some scenarios are more likely than others... including both our considerations of what kinds of tops are possible and/or likely and what kinds of bottoms are possible and/or likely, too).

So we have a 60 k streak
and a monthly 60k streak has begun

After today exactly 60 days left to tack on higher numbers and drop out lower 50-51 k range then 51-52 k range.

We could get to 85 at 60k or higher and only 15 in the 58-59k range.

Even if we do not crack 100 or even 90k a sideways move in the 60-70 range would be really amazing.

I really do not want to be blamed for taking this thread in a prescriptive/prognosticating rather than a descriptive direction.. and your response to me Philip really takes the subject in a predictive direction.  I responded to you in the WO thread... Here is a link to my response.

My gut tells me it is the last play for big mining/asic builders.

They keep it like this due to chip shortages.  This will pass soon but I am thinking 2022 Sept-Nov. will be the end of the super cycle.

But what do I know.  Not much.

Still stacking AND HOPING YOU are more correct then I am.

It is kind of strange that we are staying quite high in the bitcoin history of price locations.. largely staying in the top 20 since about 10/15 with the exception of 10/27.... and hardly any fanfare..

Of course, these remain exciting times. .while many of us do have senses that higher numbers are going to push the top of the chart.. hopefully?  Hopefully.. the rest of the year.. maybe into next year would be nice, too... .

It is likely going to take a while to push all the pre-mid April 2021 numbers (or would we say dates) towards the bottom of the chart and off of the chart.. which hopefully does happen in this cycle..... first, second or third quarter of 2022.. though there are quite a few pundits who consider that the end of this cycle will come this calendar year, which could make it more difficult to push some of the earlier 2021 numbers/dates off of the top 100 chart.
