Not sure what to make from the fact that 15,70% of merited Newbie accounts are already banned. Likely, many of those banned got their 1 merit "somehow", and went on with spamming low quality stuff, ended-up being banned. Those that have reached a higher quota of earned merits likely have a much lower ratio of applied bans.

It turns out that 20,10% of merited accounts in the conditions accounted for on this thread are banned after earned a single merit. Having earned 2 merits, the figure drops to 14,66%, and with 3 earned merits it stands at 7,26%. Quite a difference there.
Then there’s a decline in values until we reach the 10 earned merits, which takes us back to 14,03% banned (wonder why it happens on this precise figure or earned merits …
(irony)), and then starts declining again. Numbers from 20 earned merits downwards are not significant, since the base is too small.
